As the group enters the spaceport, they are stopped by the guard.
Guard: Sorry fellas, the Sith have quarantined this planet, no one is allowed in or out of Iziz. Cassus Zen: *waves hand* But you want to let us leave. Guard: I want to let you leave… Cassus Zen: *waves hand* You will tell no one we were here. Guard: I’ll tell no body you’re here…
The Jedi walk past the dazed guard and into Luceff’s ship, as they take off into space, they are immediately swarmed upon by Sith fighters.
Luceff: Looks like they’re not going to let us go without a fight. Kyle! You and Ana get on the gun turrets and hold em off while I get these hyperspace coordinates punched in. Then we can leave if Sindarin would ever get that hyperdrive installed! Sindarin: I’ve almost got it, just a little longer! Kyle Drex: Right, let’s go!
As Kyle gets into the turret he sees hundreds of fighters orbiting the planet.
Kyle Drex: The Sith must have followed us here, they’re all over this place. Ana Bree: Here they come! Keep them away from the rear of the ship, we don’t want to damage that hyperdrive again! Kyle Drex: You worry about the front I’ll worry about the rear.
Three fighters swoop down on the ship and open fire striking the top of it. Kyle quickly returns fire hitting the center fighter in the wing sending it spiraling out of control and eventually exploding.
Kyle Drex: Ha! That’s one already! Ana Bree: One? That the best you can do? I already got four! Kyle Drex: Four?! Oh you’re not upstaging me, time to get serious.
Four more fighters swoop in on Kyle and he opens fire. He lands a direct hit on the far right fighter causing it to explode which sends the other three fighters in the formation crashing into each other like dominos.
Kyle Drex: Hahahey, five! Beat that! Ana Bree: Ten. Kyle Drex: What the fu…ten!? Rraaahh! Bring em on!
As more fighters swoop in Kyle begins firing wildly at them picking off a few here and there as Ana continues to call out the number of each ship she destroys.
Luceff: There, coordinates are set. How’s that hyperdrive coming!? Sindarin: Almost there…got it! Luceff: Alright, let’s punch it!
From Kyle’s point of view, everything around him suddenly appears stretched then, Boom! In a flash of light everything disappears and the ship enters hyperspace.
Kyle Drex: Pheew, that was close. Ana Bree: How’d ya do? Kyle Drex: Twenty four. Ana Bree: Not bad for a rookie, got thirty seven myself. Kyle Drex: Where did you learn to shoot? Ana Bree: Like I’d tell you. Kyle Drex: *under his breath* Psycho.
Kyle and Ana enter the cockpit where Luceff, Cassus, and Sindarin already sit.
Luceff: Ships in one piece; you guys did good. Cassus Zen: Yes, now we can finally return to Alderaan. Luceff: Uhh, not exactly. Cassus Zen: What do you mean? Luceff: We’re making a quick pit stop first. Kyle Drex: Pit stop? Whatever for? Luceff: To my home planet, Chinine, and to my kin. Cassus Zen: What? We have important business to do here, there is no time for this! Luceff: It is the will of the Gray Jedi, I must see it done. Cassus Zen: My boy, there are some things that are more important then the Gray Jedi, as hard as that may be for your kind to believe. Kyle Drex: What’s going to happen there? Luceff: I don’t know; they wish to speak with you. My mission was to bring you before them, that is all. I am not fully sure of their intentions. Cassus Zen: Well this should certainly be interesting.

On Korriban, a Sith shuttle flies over the surface of the planet as Sith troops are rebuilding Dreshdae. This time its purpose does not appear to be an academy, but a factory. The shuttle lands in the new spaceport and Darth Cain, flanked by Darth Anemos, exit.
Captain: Welcome, Lord Cain. You honor us with your presence. Darth Cain: What is the situation captain? Captain: The factory is already churning out over a thousand ships per day, once it is fully operational you will have an army greater then even Revan and the Star Forge. Darth Cain: Excellent, once we discover where the Jedi are hiding there will be nothing that can save them. Darth Anemos: My lord, what of the Jedi’s secret weapon? Darth Cain: It is of no concern; soon he will be one of us… Darth Anemos: How do you know? Darth Cain: I have foreseen it. Soon the power of Atredious will be returned to the galaxy; the Luminos have returned…and they are ready to fall.
Meanwhile, Luceff’s shuttle comes in for a landing on the Gray Jedi home world of Chinine. As the five travelers exit, a figure in dark robes awaits them.
Cassus Zen: Stay back, this one has an odd feeling about him. Who are you? Show yourself!
From out of the shadows steps Zilfer, the gray Jedi long thought lost.
Zilfer: Certainly you haven’t forgotten me already Cassus. Cassus Zen: Oh, it’s you. Kyle Drex: You know this guy? Cassus Zen: We’ve met before. Zilfer: My name is Zilfer of Shadows, but you can call me Zilfer. Luceff: Zilfer…the name sounds familiar… Ana Bree: Is he a member of the Gray Jedi. Luceff: Not one that I’ve ever seen. Zilfer: Come Luceff, the others are expecting you.
Zilfer leads the Jedi into the tower where Cadseem, Tessfen, and Xia await their arrival.
Cadseem: Ah, Luceff, you have returned. Luceff: Yes, I have brought the disturbance with me. It is centered around this man. Kyle Drex. Tessfen: Hmm…indeed the force is very strong with him. Luceff: He is one of the Luminos; the last of the Luminos. Zilfer: Luminos? That cannot be, there kind has long since passed into legend. Cassus Zen: No, their blood line has endured all these long years. And now the time has come for last Luminos to fulfill his destiny. Xia: And who are you supposed to be? Cassus Zen: I am Cassus Zen of the Jedi Council, young lady; and you should show more respect to your elders. Tessfen: What is it you think his destiny is, Cassus Zen? Cassus Zen: He is to destroy the Sith, return the Jedi Order and the Republic to their former glory. Cadseem: Hmm…you intend to train him in the force? Cassus Zen: Of course. Cadseem: This is dangerous; you are taking an awful risk to train this one. His emotions are…unstable. Kyle Drex: I will become a Jedi, I will not fail. Tessfen: Indeed, and what if you do? Would you risk sending the galaxy into thousands of years of darkness for a fool’s hope of saving it. Cassus Zen: It is our only hope. Luceff: If I may say so, I have seen Kyle in battle. He is brash, yes, but his commitment is strong. He will not betray his friends. Cadseem: None the less, if you choose to train this boy, you shall do so without the approval of the Gray Jedi. Luceff: What? Does that mean I cannot go with them? Xia: Your place is here. You are to train with Zilfer, your business with the Jedi is over. Luceff: But I must go to Alderaan, I want to help my friends! Tessfen: Friends? You swore an oath to the Gray Jedi, to be of our order is to be alone; you know nothing of friends. Luceff: But I could learn… Cadseem: You will do as you are told or you will be banished from the order. Understood? Luceff: *sigh* Yes… Cadseem: You Jedi must leave now. I pray that you succeed in your goal; even though I fear you are making a critical mistake. You may keep the ship you came in as a sign of our good will. May the force be with you. Cassus Zen: May the force be with you, and farewell, we leave in peace.
Cassus, Kyle, Ana, and Sindarin leave the tower and head back to their ship.
Kyle Drex: We don’t need their approval, we can take the Sith without them. Cassus Zen: The Gray Jedi have always been observers, overly cautious, sometimes even more so then the Jedi. They are right to have concern but they do not understand how dire the situation truly is. Sindarin: So what now? Cassus Zen: We will go to Alderaan. My masters will complete your training there, Kyle. Kyle Drex: I’m ready.
As the Jedi reach their ship a young man comes running up behind them.
Luceff: Wait! Ana Bree: Luceff? What are you doing here? Luceff: I’m coming with you, I won’t abandon my friends to face the Sith alone. Cassus Zen: You mean to join us even though it means your expulsion from the Gray Jedi? Luceff: Well…some things are more important then the Gray Jedi. Cassus Zen: Haha, it’s good to have you with us. Come, to Alderaan!
As the Jedi enter the ship, Zilfer jumps down from a tree and enters the ship behind them before the ramp closes. The ship lifts off the ground and blasts into space…

The Jedi’s ship enters Alderaan’s atmosphere and lands in the mountains near Cassus’ temple.
Cassus Zen: We are here. Sindarin: It has been so long since I’ve last been here…it’s so much quieter… Ana Bree: I remember coming here once as a little girl. It was a safe haven for Jedi, they lived all over the planet. Now it’s as silent as a tomb. Cassus Zen: Suprisingly not far from the truth. Come, we must hike into the mountains. Our destination lies deep in the wilderness. Kyle Drex: *groan* Well we ever get there!? Cassus Zen: Come now, it’s not that far, just a days walk. Kyle Drex: Day!? Why don’t we just take the ship? Cassus Zen: The terrain in the mountains is far too rough, we could never land there. Luceff: This place is full of wisdom…memory…something dwells here…
As the Jedi head off into the mountains, Zilfer exits the ship and follows close behind.
Back on Chinine, Xia rushes into Cadseem and Tessfen’s chamber.
Xia: Luceff is gone! Cadseem: We know. Xia: What? Where is he? Tessfen: He has gone with the Jedi against our will. Cadseem: We sent Zilfer to follow him. Xia: I knew he wasn’t ready. You should’ve sent me. Cadseem: Don’t be so sure, Xia. Luceff may still yet prove his worth. Xia: But he defied you and disrespected the Gray Jedi, you cannot seriously mean to forgive him? Tessfen: We will do what we feel is best, that should be good enough for you, now leave us.
Xia storms out angerly.
*thoughts* Xia: I’ve had enough of this; they’ve never appreciated my talents. I’m going to find them and punish them myself…
One day later, the Jedi come to a large bowl like depression in the mountains, like a large stadium at the bottom is a pedestal where a lone spirit stands. As the Jedi step out onto the floor of the bowl, Zilfer watches from afar.
Si Quan: You have returned. Cassus Zen: Yes master, sorry for the delay. Si Quan: This must be Kyle. Kyle Drex: Kyle Drex, and you are? Si Quan: I am Si Quan, Jedi master. Me and my council are tasked with your training. Kyle Drex: What council?
A smile spreads across Si Quan’s face. Kyle looks on in awe as hundreds of spirits materialize all around them, as well as three next to Si Quan on the pedestal.
Si Quan: It will take all our combined skill to train you. Luceff: I don’t believe my eyes…are they… Cassus Zen: All the great Jedi of old. They gather here now to train young Kyle in the ways of the Luminos.
Terentius, Constans, and Eva stand with Si Quan. Around the bowl there are also many other familiar faces…
Terentius: We look forward to completing your training. Constans: The wisdom of all Jedi, is at your disposal. Zi Nevel: This is the one we have pinned all our hopes on? Vrook: He’s a bounty hunter, and a thief. They know only of murder and betrayal! Eva: He is our only chance to stop Cain. Abel: I have faith in the boy, he won’t let us down. Kyle Drex: I have made peace with my past, and I hope you all can forgive me. Barros Bree: Of course we can. Ana Bree: Father…? Barros Bree: Yes, it’s me, Ana. Kyle Drex: You…geez sorry…about everything. Barros Bree: Don’t worry about it. It was my destiny to die that day, just as it was your destiny to take the lightsaber from me. Nothing happens by accident. Terentius: So it begins…the heir of the Luminos, will be a Jedi.

As Xia’s ship sails through space, it is caught in the tractor beam of a Sith battle cruiser. The ship takes her to Korriban where the young Gray Jedi is detained. She sits alone in a force cage in the Dreshdae factory as Darth Cain enters the room.
Darth Cain: What business does a Gray Jedi have on Korriban? Xia: I’m looking for someone; you’re probably looking for them too. Darth Cain: The Jedi…and what would you want with them. Xia: My business with the Jedi is my own. Now release me! I have no quarrel with you! Darth Cain: There is much anger in you young one, perhaps I could use you afterall… Xia: I’ll never work for the Sith, your wasting your time. Darth Cain: Oh no, in the end you will beg to join us…hehehehahahahaha!
Back on Alderaan, Kyle begins his intensive training under the Jedi spirits on Alderaan. The first phase…is the test of knowledge with Constans the wise.
Constans: Now, recite for me the Jedi code young one. Kyle Drex: Alright…there is no emotion, there is peace. There is no ignorance, there is knowledge. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. There is no death, there is the force. Constans: Very good, and what does it mean? Kyle Drex: Mean? Uh well… Constans: What good is knowing the code if you don’t understand it. A Jedi must appreciate the difference between knowledge and wisdom. Kyle Drex: No, I understand the code. You must contain you passions and seek peace. It is only through peace, knowledge, serenity and harmony, can one achieve oneness with the force. Constans: Impressive, you’ve learned your studies well. You are ready for the final test… Kyle Drex: What is that, master? Constans: You must defeat me…in a test of knowledge. Kyle Drex: What? Now? Constans: Tomorrow…be ready.
Constans vanishes and Kyle returns to the camp the others have set up. About a half mile away, Zilfer sets up a camp of his own. He speaks into his wrist communicator.
Zilfer: Log; I have followed Luceff and the Jedi into the mountains to the ruins of an ancient council. The spirits of many past Jedi dwell here, including the Luminos…I’ve decided not to apprehend Luceff as of yet; it may not be wise to confront him here. I will wait until they leave the mountains to make my move…
Back at the Jedi camp, Kyle sits alone in his tent pouring over Jedi holocrons as Ana enters.
Ana Bree: You’ve been in here for hours, what are you doing? Kyle Drex: I’m supposed to challenge Constans to a test of knowledge tomorrow, but I don’t even know who…Bastila Shen…is. How am I supposed to memorize thousands of years of history and wisdom in one night!? Ana Bree: Don’t worry so much. Kyle Drex: How can I not worry? I’m supposed to have this great destiny and I’m gonna blow it after my first test! Ana Bree: You put too much pressure on yourself; your friends care about you, we know you won’t let us down. Kyle Drex: And what about you? Do you care? Ana Bree: What do you mean? Kyle Drex: Don’t play coy with me; I’ve seen the way you look at me. You can’t take your eyes off me. Ana Bree: I think all of this pressure really has gone to your head. Kyle Drex: Come on, admit it, you have some feelings for me. Ana Bree: Don’t be silly, I told you before, Jedi don’t fall in love. Kyle Drex: And I told you, I don’t believe that. Ana Bree: Well just make sure you don’t mention that to Constans tomorrow… *from outside* Cassus Zen: Ana! Ana... Ana Bree: I should go, good luck with your studies.
Ana leaves Kyle alone in the tent, he seems distracted and unable to concentrate.

The next morning at dawn, Kyle leaves his tent and heads for the arena. When he arrives he notices all the Jedi spirits have returned and Constans stands alone on the pedestal at the bottom. Kyle heads down and stands next to him; Cassus, Sindarin, Ana and Luceff watch from the first row. Si Quan appears in front of Constans and Kyle.
Si Quan: Let the trial of wisdom begin! The rules are simple; first one to answer three questions correctly is the victor, understood? Then let’s begin. What was the stance the Jedi Order took during the Mandalorian Wars? Constans: That was, neutrality. Si Quan: Correct Kyle Drex: Damn, I knew that one. Ana Bree: Then why didn’t you say anything? Kyle Drex: I panicked. Ana Bree: Pay attention. Si Quan: Next question; during which war did Jolee Bindo fight? Constans: He fought in the Sith Wars, but also in the Jedi civil war although not as a member of the order. Si Quan: That is correct. Kyle Drex: I knew I heard that name somewhere before!
An uneasy murmuring comes from the crowd.
Ana Bree: You better say something quick or you’re gonna lose for sure. Kyle Drex: But he’s too fast. Si Quan: Question three; true or false, love is an acceptable emotion for a Jedi if properly controlled. Kyle Drex: Uh, false! Si Quan: …Correct. Kyle Drex: Pheew… Cassus Zen: Good, my boy, just two more. Si Quan: Question four; What was the name of the Sith Lord that led Exar Kun to the darkside? Kyle Drex: Ooooo! Freedon Nadd! Si Quan: Well done, Kyle.
Applause from the crowd.
Si Quan: The score is tied, two to two, this question will decide it; the pillars of a Jedi’s strength are as follows; knowledge, the force, and what? Constans: I believe the answer is, peace. Si Quan: Sorry…that’s incorrect.
Crowd murmurs.
Si Quan: Kyle, if you answer this correctly, you will be the winner. Knowledge, the force, and what? Kyle Drex: Self-discipline. Si Quan: Congratulations padawan, you have passed the first trial.
Cheers from the crowd.
Cassus Zen: Excellent work, Kyle. Ana Bree: I knew you could do it! Kyle Drex: Just do me one favor. Ana Bree: What’s that? Kyle Drex: Catch me.
Kyle falls backward and Ana is barely able to catch him.
Si Quan: The second trial will be combat, you begin training with weapon master Terentius tomorrow. Good luck, padawan…

The second phase of Kyle’s training is combat with Weapons Master Terentius. For many weeks Kyle trains in several lightsaber forms under Terentius, who even imparts to him secret techniques long forgotten. One day, as Kyle makes his way to the training ground, he sees Luceff talking to Ana, Kyle ducks behind a rock and listens in.
Ana Bree: And where are you going this morning? Luceff: I’ve been summoned to help Kyle with his training, mastery of lightsaber forms. Ana Bree: And what is it you’ll teach him? Luceff: I’m just there as his sparring partner, I’m not supposed to teach him anything. Ana Bree: Well I should be going; I’m supposed to be meditating. Luceff: What’s the rush? I’ve got time. Ana Bree: Yeah but I’m already behind… Luceff: Someone as beautiful as you shouldn’t spend so much time alone. Ana Bree: Hehe, well thank you, but I really should get going. Luceff: Of course, I’ll see you this afternoon. Ana Bree: Okay, bye.
The two go in their separate directions and Kyle sits behind the rock with a scowl on his face.
Kyle Drex: Grrrr…who does that guy think he’s smooth talking… Kyle arrives at the training ground to find Luceff waiting with Terentius.
Terentius: You’ve arrived, I have a special test for you today Kyle, hands on combat. Luceff has volunteered to be your sparing partner. Luceff: Just go easy on me; I’ve heard you are now trained in over twenty lightsaber forms. Kyle Drex: *ignites lightsaber* Let’s go then. Luceff: Alright, show me what you’ve got. *ignites lightsaber*
Kyle lunges at Luceff, and, relying heavily on the force for agility, he spins and slashes around Luceff, striking at him from all sides. Luceff is unable to keep up and takes several slashes that graze and slice his robes.
Luceff: Hey, easy! I’m not that fast, you’re gonna ruin my Gray Jedi robe. Kyle Drex: Can’t take the heat, can ya? Terentius: Calm yourself Kyle, Luceff is only trying to help. Kyle Drex: Yeah well I don’t want his help. Luceff: I don’t know what your problem is but Terentius is right, I’m here to help you; so show a little respect. Kyle Drex: I don’t have time for this, I already know I can beat him; I’m ready for the final test. Terentius: Indeed? Your skills are impressive, but you are reckless. Your technique lacks polish; something that can only be achieved by hand to hand combat. Kyle Drex: I’m as ready as I’ll ever be, master. Terentius: So be it, tonight, at dusk, meet me at the arena…there you will show me your skill.
Terentius vanishes and leaves Luceff and Kyle alone.
Luceff: What was that all about? Kyle Drex: I saw you with Ana earlier… Luceff: Ooooh, got a little thing for that girl, do ya? Kyle Drex: Maybe…just stay away from her, Okay? Luceff: Hey whatever you say chief, but you are aware that it’s against the Jedi code to fall in love. Kyle Drex: Yeah well, I’m working on it. Luceff: Aww, look at this…you totally tore up my good robe. Kyle Drex: Well let’s just hope I’m as fast tonight. Luceff: Good luck, you’re gonna need it…
As the sun settles behind the mountains, the glow from the spirit spectators lights the arena with a soft blue glow. The murmurs from the crowd hush as Terentius appears.
Si Quan: The following duel will be between weapons master Terentius, and padawan Kyle. The victor will be whom ever disables his opponent first, understood? Very well. Terentius: As I presently am, I cannot physically battle; I will need a vessel…any volunteers?
Cassus, Sindarin, Ana, and Luceff look at each other, then Ana stands up.
Ana Bree: I will do it.
The crowd begins to murmur again, and smile slowly appears on Luceff’s face.
Terentius: Very well, prepare to defend yourself, padawan.
Ana closes her eyes and with a blinding flash of light, Terentius is gone. When Ana reopens her eyes they glow bright white.
Si Quan: Begin!

Kyle hesitates just for a moment, which costs him. Ana lunges forward, as if weightless and unleashes a blinding flurry of lightsaber attacks that Kyle struggles to fend off.
Luceff: You need to attack, every technique has its weakness! Kyle Drex: I’m trying…she’s too fast!
Ana’s lightsaber flies around Kyle as if completely uninhibited, he counters with the defensive Soresu form, but his defense is quickly picked apart by Terentius. Finally Ana lands a blow that slices partially through Kyle’s left arm, exposing the metal and wires of the mechanical limb. Expecting Kyle to drop from the pain of a sliced arm, Ana hesitates, and Kyle lurches forward with a powerful horizontal slash.
Cassus Zen: That’s it Kyle! Attack, attack!
With Ana off balance Kyle begins to rain lightsaber blows down upon her which she has trouble keeping up with, as each strike is powerful enough to send her stumbling backwards. The crowd goes silent as they notice Kyle’s anger building, with each swing of his blade he becomes more and more consumed by his rage. Finally he lands a hit strong enough to knock the lightsaber from Ana’s hand. He raises his lightsaber to deliver a killing blow when a spark from his damaged arm catches his attention. As Kyle stares at the loose wires he notices all the Jedi spirits are watching him with great concern. Kyle turns off his lightsaber and drops it to the ground.
Si Quan: Padawan Kyle…is the winner.
With another flash of light, Ana snaps out of her trance.
Ana Bree: Ugh, what…is it over already? Kyle Drex: You alright? Ana Bree: I think so. Vrook: Your anger is concerning young one, you will need to learn control. Abel: Eva will teach him. Vrook: She’d better, I have my doubts about this one. Si Quan: By defeating Constans and Terentius you have proven you are ready to unlock the force within you. Zi Nevel: This will prove if you truly have what it takes to be a Jedi. You have passed the trial of the mind and of the flesh…all that remains now…is the mirror. Kyle Drex: What’s the mirror? Si Quan: You shall see.
Meanwhile, on Korriban, Xia remains in her force cage, half passed out. For the past few weeks she has endured near endless torture at the hands of Darth Cain.
Darth Cain: See the truth, fulfill your destiny… Xia: I-I can’t…the Gray…mustn’t give in… Darth Cain: Don’t allow yourself to be restricted by rules and codes, become what you were meant to be. Take the power they have denied you. Xia: They’re…they hold me back…never listen… Darth Cain: They know you are too strong, they hinder your progress, they’re jealous of what you can become. Xia: Yes…they’re jealous… Darth Cain: And who is your master? Xia: You are…my lord… Darth Cain: Good…now…where did Cassus take the Jedi? Xia: He went to…to…Alderaan. Darth Cain: You have served your master well, Darth Xia, at last the time has come to annihilate the last of the Jedi…

Late that night, Sindarin repairs Kyle’s mechanical arm in the medical tent as Ana looks on.
Sindarin: That was some impressive battling tonight, kid. I’ve never seen a lightsaber duel that fast. Kyle Drex: I’m just glad I came away in one piece, I thought I was done for after how it started. Sindarin: There, good as new. Kyle Drex: Nice, you are handy with machines. Sindarin: When you live alone for 30 years you pick up a few hobbies. Anyways, I should go get some sleep, you too, you’ve got a big day ahead of you. Kyle Drex: Thanks Sin, see ya tomorrow.
Sindarin leaves the tent.
Ana Bree: Looks like I gave you quite a run for your money. Kyle Drex: Had me worried. Ana Bree: Kyle, I… Kyle Drex: What is it? Ana Bree: I thought about what you said… Kyle Drex: Oh really? Ana Bree: Yes and… Kyle Drex: And… Ana Bree: I think it would be best if I left. Kyle Drex: What? Why? Ana Bree: I don’t want to be a distraction, you’re too important; I can’t stay and take focus off your training, no matter how we may feel. Kyle Drex: We? Ana Bree: I’ve said too much already. Tomorrow you will face the mirror, and I must leave. Kyle Drex: But you don’t have to leave, you’re not a distraction… Ana Bree: I’ve already made the arrangements with Cassus; he’ll take me back to the temple tomorrow. I’m sorry, good bye.
Ana rushes out of the tent.
Kyle Drex: Ana! Wait!...
She doesn’t answer and Kyle is left alone.
The next morning Kyle awakens and notices that Ana and Cassus have already left. Depressed, he makes his way to the training grounds, where Eva awaits.
Eva: Are you ready, my child? Kyle Drex: Yes master… Eva: What troubles you? Kyle Drex: It’s…it’s nothing. Eva: Very well…you see that cave over the ridge? Kyle Drex: Yes. Eva: You must enter in there, once inside I can no longer assist you. Kyle Drex: What’s in there? Eva: Only what you take with you… Kyle Drex: Ok…
Kyle climbs up over the ridge and enters the cave. As he goes deeper and deeper the silence becomes more and more prevalent in his mind. Kyle finally comes to a large chamber with a small pool of water in the center. He approaches the pool and leans over, Kyle is startled by his own reflection. He sees himself with fully mechanical left side of his face and arm, and his skin is gray and decayed just like Darth Cain. Suddenly he hears a lightsaber ignite behind him, he spins around to see a Jedi cloaked in all black. Kyle ignites his red lightsaber and attacks, after a short battle he easily impales the Jedi. Kyle then throws the Jedi’s hood back and is horrified to see the lifeless face of Ana staring back at him…
Meanwhile, back at the camp, Sindarin and Luceff sit having a friendly conversation when suddenly Luceff perks up.
Sindarin: What is it? Luceff: Wait here.
Luceff climbs up to the top of the mountain, as he looks out his eyes widen and his jaw drops. What he sees is hundreds of Sith ships dropping troops just down the mountain.
Luceff: The Sith are here! Sindarin: What!? We have to warn Kyle! Luceff: Hurry, there isn’t much time!
As Kyle reemerges from the cave and returns to the training ground, he is confused to find that Eva is gone.
Kyle Drex: Where the hell did she go? Luceff: Kyle! Kyle! Kyle Drex: Luceff? Sindarin? What are you guys doing here? Sindarin: It’s the Sith, they’ve found us. I don’t know how but they’ve found us. Kyle Drex: Where are they!? Luceff: They gather at the base of the mountain. Kyle Drex: The base…Ana…
Kyle goes running off down the mountain.
Luceff: Wait! Where are you going!? Kyle Drex: Ana’s down there, I have to find her!

Meanwhile, Ana and Cassus hike down the mountain, blissfully unaware of the danger that approaches.
Ana Bree: …I don’t know, Cassus. I think it’d be best if I were a non factor. Cassus Zen: Do you not trust him to make the right decision? Ana Bree: I never thought of it that way. Maybe it’s not him I don’t trust. Cassus Zen: Hmm indeed. I would think it best if you…*ignites lightsaber* Ana Bree: What’s wrong? Cassus Zen: Get down!
Cassus quickly spins around to see the large dark figure of Darth Anemos looming over him. Before Cassus can react, Anemos hits him with a backhand that sends him into a rock.
Ana Bree: Cassus! Darth Anemos: We meet again, Jedi. *ignites lightsaber* This time no one will hear you scream.
Darth Anemos begins lifting boulders with the force and hurling them at Ana. She nimbly dodges them, then comes in close with her lightsaber. Anemos takes several slow but powerful swings at Ana with his double hilt red saber, but all easily dodged by the young Jedi. Suddenly Anemos stomps on the ground, shaking the earth and sending a rockslide down toward Ana. As she is distracted by the falling rocks, Anemos uses a vertical slash, slicing Ana’s lightsaber in two. He then grabs her by the neck and lifts her off the ground.
Darth Anemos: Now…die.
As Anemos is about to kill Ana he hesitates, then spins around and buries his lightsaber into the chest of Cassus who had snuck up behind him. Just then, Kyle appears at the top of the ridge.
Kyle Drex: Noooooo!
With blinding speed and unnatural agility, Kyle leaps from the ridge and slashes at Anemos, causing him to drop Ana who is now unconscious.
Darth Anemos: More Jedi? It doesn’t matter bring em all on! Kyle Drex: I don’t need any help, I’m gonna slaughter you myself. Darth Anemos: Good, use your hate; but even that won’t save you now.
As Darth Anemos raises his lightsaber to strike, Kyle dashes forward within the blink of an eye and is behind Anemos before he finishes his motion. Anemos pauses a moment, then stumbles forward and grabs his side.
Darth Anemos: Ugh…how did you… Kyle Drex: Die Sith, die!
With lightning speed Kyle throws his saber toward Anemos, it spins rapidly through the air before impaling him right through the throat. Anemos takes a few last desperate gasps for air, falls to his knees, then collapses to the ground. Kyle summons his lightsaber from Anemos’ throat back to his hand. He checks Cassus, he’s dead. Kyle then sees Ana passed out on the ground and rushes over.
Kyle Drex: Ana! Ana! Come on, wake up. Ana Bree: Uhhh…Kyle… Kyle Drex: It’s good to see you again. Looks like you owe me one. Ana Bree: Cassus? Kyle Drex: No… Ana Bree: What are we gonna do? Kyle Drex: Luceff and Sindarin have gone ahead to the ship, we have to leave now. Ana Bree: But your training… Kyle Drex: The Sith are everywhere, we have no choice. Let’s go!

Kyle and Ana make their way down the mountain fighting off legion after legion of Sith troops. As they reach the bottom they find Cassus’ temple in flames and Luceff and Sindarin being swarmed upon by Sith as they try to defend their ship.
Ana Bree: Quick, we should help them. Kyle Drex: Hold on a second…
Kyle closes his eyes and holds out his hand, suddenly the sky darkens and the wind picks up. The voice calls out to Kyle again…
??: Your anger has given you power…
Kyle opens his eyes, they glow bright red, then five bolts of lightning shoot out from his finger tips and tear through the Sith ranks. As Kyle falls backward, his eyes return to normal and the sky clears.
Ana Bree: What was that? Kyle Drex: I don’t know, I didn’t do anything different then last time. Oh well, it worked, let’s get to the ship before more troops arrive. Luceff: Kyle, quickly, into the ship. Sindarin: Where is Cassus? Ana Bree: He’s…dead. Sindarin: What…no. Kyle Drex: Cassus gave his life to save Ana’s. Luceff: Well we must push forward. Cassus did his duty, we must do ours. Kyle Drex: Right, let’s go.
As Luceff’s ship takes off into space, Zilfer is confronted by Darth Xia.
Darth Xia: You have failed, Zilfer. The Jedi have escaped. Zilfer: I meant to let them go; I now realize it’s not my place to stop them. Darth Xia: Against the power of the Dark Lord Cain there can be no victory…the Jedi will die, as will you. Zilfer: It is not my wish to fight you Xia, but it is clear that the girl I knew on Chinine has been destroyed. I will do what I must. Darth Xia: Not even you can stand against my new power, now die!
Darth Xia attacks Zilfer who blocks all of her blows, putting forth no attempt at offense.
Zilfer: Is this all that the darkside can muster? Darth Xia: Why don’t you attack? Are you afraid? Zilfer: The darkside is nothing to be feared, only pitied.
Just then, an army of Sith reinforcements come charging up the mountain toward Xia and Zilfer. Zilfer leaps into the air up on a cliff and rains force lightning down on the troops.
Zilfer: We will meet again, Xia…I will be watching…
Zilfer runs off into the wilderness.
Darth Xia: Find him, kill him! Trooper: Yes ma’am, right away!
A hologram of Darth Cain appears on Xia’s wrist communicator.
*hologram* Darth Cain: Lord Xia, have you found the Jedi’s base. Darth Xia: Yes my lord, we have burned what remained of their temple and killed Cassus Zen. *hologram* Darth Cain: Excellent, the last of the Jedi Council has been dissolved. Now the boy’s fall is inevitable. Darth Xia: There is something else, Darth Anemos has been killed. *hologram* Darth Cain: His death was unavoidable, he was weak and ignorant, and if the Jedi hadn’t done it I’d have probably killed him myself. You are my apprentice now, Darth Xia. Darth Xia: What must I do? *hologram* Darth Cain: Go to Korriban and wait for the Jedi there. Darth Xia: What makes you think they’ll go to Korriban? *hologram* Darth Cain: I have foreseen it, go to Korriban and crush the Jedi when they arrive, but bring the boy to me alive. Darth Xia: As you wish, my master.

Meanwhile, the Jedi sit silently as their ship sails through space.
Kyle Drex: What are we supposed to do now? Luceff: There’s not much we can do, with the fall of Alderaan there is now no place where the Sith can’t find us. Sindarin: Not quite. Kyle Drex: You got something in mind Sin? Sindarin: We should go to Tatooine. It’s the perfect place to hide for those who don’t wish to be found. Ana Bree: I don’t know… Sindarin: Do you have any better ideas? Luceff: He’s right, we need to lay low for now…Tatooine may be just the place. Kyle Drex: I just wish…I wish Cassus were here, he’d know what to do. Sindarin: Don’t give up hope, Kyle. Cassus’ death shall not have been in vain; we will destroy the Sith. Kyle Drex: I just wish I knew where to start…
On Korriban, the Dreshdae factory is finally complete. The Sith armada grows exponentially by the day. Through the maze of war ships, Darth Xia’s ship sails toward the spaceport.
Admiral Riken: We have been expecting you, Lord Xia. The factory is operating at 100% capacity. Darth Xia: Good work, have any shuttles besides mine landed on the planets surface recently? Admiral Riken: Uh, no, just yours. Darth Xia: The Jedi will be coming here, when they do, allow them to land and leave them to me. Admiral Riken: As you wish my lord.
The Jedi’s ship arrives on Tatooine and lands in the spaceport of Mos Eisley.
Sindarin: I’d be careful if I were you, there isn’t a soul in this city who isn’t wanted for something. Woman: Excuse me, are you…Jedi by any chance? Kyle Drex: Yes we are, what seems to be the trouble miss? Woman: You have to help me, my husband went into the dune sea to hunt for treasure a week ago, but he still hasn’t returned. Please find him. Luceff: What’s his name? Woman: Andur Lundu. Please find him, the Sith refuse to help, they say he’s as good as dead. But I know he’s alive, I just know it! Sindarin: We will look for him, I promise. Woman: Oh, bless you master Jedi.
The Jedi continue on through the city seeing all sorts of alien races and shady looking characters.
Kyle Drex: So are we really going to go looking for this Andur guy? Ana Bree: Why not, it’s not like we have anything better to do. Sindarin: If we’re going to go out on the dune sea, we’ll need hunting licenses. Unfortunately they are distributed by the Sith. But there is more then one way to get a license in a place like this, follow me.
The Jedi head down an ally where a Jawa in brown robes waits.
Kyle Drex: We’re buying a counterfeit license from a Jawa? Have you lost it old man? Sindarin: Hush! Yes, we require hunting licenses. Jawa: *Jawa language* Licenses for the hunting of treasure? For 500 credits have them I may. Buy will you four? Luceff: What did he say? Sindarin: Yes, four.
Sindarin exchanges the credits for four shoddy looking hunting licenses.
Kyle Drex: What is this!? I could’ve blown my nose in a napkin and made a more believable looking license then this! Jawa: No refunds. Sindarin: Don’t worry, it’ll work. Kyle Drex: Get outta here you little rat. Luceff: Come on, let’s get out of this city before we get suckered out of everything we own.
As the Jedi approach the gate their stopped by the Sith guard.
Sith guard: Hold it civilians. I’ll need to see your hunting licenses. Sindarin: We have them right here…
The guard swipes the licenses, nothing happens at first and the Jedi look on anxiously. Suddenly a green light flashes on and the gates begin to open.
Sith guard: Everything checks out, good luck out there, you’ll need it.

The Jedi wander across the Dune Sea for hours seeing little in the way of life. The suns beat down on the travelers and finally Kyle snaps.
Kyle Drex: I can’t take it anymore! It’s so damn hot! We haven’t seen another living creature since Mos Eisley, this is pointless. Let’s turn back before we die out here! Luceff: Well I suppose it is a tad warm, we could rest in that cave over there. Ana Bree: Finding a treasure hunter out here is nearly impossible, there’s any number of things that could’ve happened to him. Locating him now is just a matter of luck. Sindarin: We all know there is no luck, the force shall guide us. Kyle Drex: Well in that case, the force is guiding me toward that cave. Sindarin: Very well, I suppose it couldn’t hurt to take a little break…
As the Jedi enter the cave they notice it is all but empty…accept for some food stuffs and drinking water seemingly abandoned on the cave floor.
Kyle Drex: Water! It’s a miracle! Luceff: Wait Kyle, you probably shouldn’t take that, it might belong to somebody. Ana Bree: Well…it couldn’t hurt if we borrowed just a little… Kyle Drex: That’s what I’m sayin, we won’t take it all. I’ve been dying for a drink.
As Kyle puts the canteen of water to his lips suddenly a blaster bolt whizzes by his head. Kyle turns to see a dark skinned man brandishing a blaster. He wears a black jacket and has black pants. He also wears a brown hood and cape for protection from the suns.
Andur Lundu: Drop it! Kyle Drex: Hey come on now, don’t be greedy. We’ve been wandering this desert for hours, we need water. Andur Lundu: Hours? Ha! You guys are light weights, I’ve been out here almost a week. Sindarin: A week you say, you wouldn’t happen to be Andur Lundu, would you? Andur Lundu: And what if I am? Ana Bree: Your wife has been looking for you, she thinks you are dead. She’s worried sick, you should go back to Mos Eisley and find her. Andur Lundu: I can’t go back… Luceff: Why not? Andur Lundu: My wife and I have lived in poverty for years now, I’ve tried to scrape a living hunting treasure here on the Dune Sea, but those damn Sith miners have the run of the place, they clean out all the good stuff and leave us hunters the scraps. But this time was different, I stumbled across a ruined star ship, musta crashed here years ago but was buried by the sand. Sindarin: A star ship you say…you went inside? Andur Lundu: Well like I was sayin, a recent sandstorm had uncovered the ruins so went in to have a look. I found all kinds of valuables in there, not the least of which was a droid. Kyle Drex: A droid? Andur Lundu: Did I stutter? Yes a droid, an older model, but who ever programmed him did a damn good job; this droid could shoot the fleas off a bantha’s back from a thousand yards. Luceff: So what happened to it? Andur Lundu: Well I was bringing my pay load back to Mos Eisley when I was jumped by those Sith miners, they stole everything including my droid. With all that stuff I could’ve afforded all the things me and my wife had been dreaming about all our years in the gutter. And I ain’t leaving here till I get it back! Sindarin: Hmm…well maybe we could be of some assistance. Andur Lundu: Why would you help me? Who are you people anyway? Your not Sith spies are ya? Sindarin: No my friend, we are Jedi. My name is Sindarin, this is Kyle, Luceff, and Ana. Andur Lundu: Jedi? Never heard of ya, but I guess I could use all the help I can get. Hope you’re good with a blaster, those Sith don’t mess around. Kyle Drex: Don’t worry about us, we’ve dealt with our fair share of Sith before. Ana Bree: So Andur, where do we find these miners? Andur Lundu: They travel around in giant sandcrawlers, we just need to follow the tracks. Luceff: Sounds like a plan, we should wait for cover of darkness. Andur Lundu: Agreed. Sindarin: Andur, what kind of droid did you say you found? Andur Lundu: Don’t know what type it was, I’d never seen one like it before. Sindarin: Did it have a name? Andur Lundu: I think so, what was it…oh yeah! HK-47 was it’s name.

As night falls over the Dune Sea, the temperature drops and thousands of stars light the desert. The calls of Tusken raiders can be heard in the distance as the Jedi leave the safety of their cave and search for the Sith miners.
Andur Lundu: Here, I found these tracks the other day, they’re relatively fresh. Kyle Drex: Alright, now which way were they going? Andur Lundu: Well that’s the real trick, kid. We just follow the tracks in one direction and hope it’s the right one. Sindarin: Hmm…it’s this way. Luceff: How do you know? Sindarin: Because that is where the sounds of the sand people are coming from. The Tuskens have no love for the Sith either, they probably are tracking them as well. Andur Lundu: Well the last thing we need is to have to deal with the Sith and the sand people. Kyle Drex: Don’t worry about it, we can handle them. Andur Lundu: Ha! I’d like to see it. Kyle Drex: Why wait, I’ll show you right now. Ana Bree: Would you two stop that, it isn’t helping. Sindarin: Hurry, the miners have most likely stopped for the night, now’s our chance to gain ground.
For many hours the Jedi follow the tracks before coming across the large dark figure of a sandcrawler in the distance, a small bon fire burns near by.
Kyle Drex: There they are, they must of set up camp for the night. Good, I don’t see any sand people around. Andur Lundu: Oh they’re here, just because you don’t see them doesn’t mean they’re not watching. Ana Bree: Well what are we waiting for? Let’s go. Luceff: Wait, look…
From the shadows a group of sandpeople rush the sandcrawler. The startled Sith miners struggle to fend them off.
Andur Lundu: Damn Tuskens, they beat us to it! Sindarin: This may actually work to our advantage…follow me.
Sindarin leads the Jedi behind the sandcrawler which they quietly enter. The cargo hold is filled with a fortune in gagets and treasures, and in the corner a droid stands, deactivated.
Andur Lundu: There he is, that’s HK-47. Sindarin: Interesting, looks like an assassin droid… Kyle Drex: How do I turn it on? Oh wait I think I found it…
As Kyle flips the switch, the droids eyes light up and suddenly it springs to life.
HK-47: Query: Where am I, and who are you? Kyle Drex: Me? I’m Kyle Drex. Andur Lundu: Hey, HK, it’s me! Remember? HK-47: Expression of Disappointment: Oh not him again, how I loathe that meatbag, he has been worthless since the moment he activated me. Andur Lundu: Hey, what did I tell you, I’m your master now. HK-47: Concession: *sigh* Very well…master…my full functionality is in your service. Andur Lundu: Good, now let’s grab as much loot as we can and get out of here. Ana Bree: Do it quietly, we don’t want to attract the attention of those Sith. HK-47: Query: Why ever not? It has been quite a while since I’ve had any target practice and I am very much looking forward to some unmitigated blood shed. Kyle Drex: Ha! I kinda like this droid. Luceff: Hurry, the sandpeople are retreating, the Sith will be retuning soon.
As they gather up the loot, one of the miners catches them in the act.
Miner: Hey you, stop there! Kyle Drex: *ignites lightsaber* They’ve spotted us, we have no choice now; take em out! HK-47: Agreement: Take them all out!…Oh how I love those words. This should be fun.
The Jedi leap from the sandcrawler and begin cutting down the Sith miners while HK-47 snipes random miners from behind, landing headshot after headshot. Andur, having never seen Jedi in action before, remains on the sandcrawler looking on in awe as the Jedi skillfully take down the miners.
Sindarin: Now let’s get this stuff back to Mos Eisley before the Sith realize what has happened. Andur Lundu: Good, I can sell this stuff and finally buy the house of my dreams. Kyle Drex: What about the droid? Can we keep him? Pretty please! Andur Lundu: Well…I suppose I have more than enough here to make me rich. And people like you probably would have more use for him then me…I don’t see why not. Kyle Drex: Alright! Hear that HK? You belong to me now. HK-47: Statement: It is pleasure to enter the service of a competent master, shall I kill something for you now? Kyle Drex: Man I love this droid…

As the suns rise over Mos Eisley, Andur and the Jedi emerge from a local pawn shop. They then search the streets until they find a woman lying on the side of the road.
Andur Lundu: Helen! No! Ana Bree: Is she…
Andur checks the woman, then lowers his head and falls to his knees.
Andur Lundu: I…I’m too late…she must’ve starved out here…and the Sith did nothing to help. Ana Bree: I’m so sorry Andur, is there anything we can do? Andur Lundu: …I just need to be left alone… Sindarin: We understand, come, we should be moving on anyway. Hopefully the pursuit of the Sith has died down.
As the Jedi approach the hanger they see an unusual amount of activity. As they enter they see the Sith guards taking apart their ship, piece by piece.
Kyle Drex: What the…they’ve destroyed our ship! Now what are we supposed to do? HK-47: Query: Should I kill them, master? I could shoot them in their knee caps thus maximizing their agony as they keel over and slowly die. Kyle Drex: As much as I’d love to see that HK, you’d better not. We don’t want to tip off the Sith that we’re here. Luceff: We should find Andur and see if he can use that money to buy us a new ship. Ana Bree: What about his dream house? The man just lost his wife and now you want to hit him up for money? Kyle Drex: Well since she’s dead it’s not like he’ll be needing all of it. Ana Bree: No way, there has to be a better way. HK-47: Suggestion: Perhaps you could find my old master’s ship, the Ebon Hawk. If I am here then it must be around somewhere. Sindarin: From what Andur tells us the ship is buried in the sand… HK-47: Agitated Explanation: That sack of fluids wouldn’t know a flyable ship if it crashed into his oversized head. I’m sure it can be salvaged. Luceff: Well it’s worth a try, there’s nothing we can do here.
As the Jedi make their way through Mos Eisley, they notice Andur heading into the cantina.
Ana Bree: We should probably go talk to him. Luceff: He said he wanted to be left alone, he is dealing with quite a bit of pain. HK-47: Suggestion: Why don’t we just end his pain? Let me do it master, it will be quick, although I cannot promise it will be neat. Kyle Drex: Nah, save your killing energy for the Sith, we’ll need it. HK-47: Confused Query: Save my killing energy? Whatever do you mean master, my capacity to kill is only limited by my inability to point my rifle at two meatbags at once. To suggest that I could lose said capacity is simply laughable. Kyle Drex: Well none the less we should try and help him out at least. Ana Bree: I agree, let’s go.
As the Jedi enter the cantina the bar tender immediately yells at them.
Bar Tender: Hey! Take that droid outside! We don’t serve their kind here! HK-47: Query: May I kill him, master? Kyle Drex: Sorry HK, just wait for us outside. HK-47: Deflated Response: Very well, master. Maybe I’ll get lucky and a Jawa will look at me wrong…
HK-47 exits the cantina and the Jedi go up to the pazaak table where Andur sits.
Ana Bree: Andur, what are you doing? You’re not gambling with the money you just made are you? Andur Lundu: Oh what’s the point? She’s dead and it’s all my fault, I don’t deserve this money. Kyle Drex: Well if you don’t need it, why not just give it to us…
Ana elbows Kyle in the ribs.
Kyle Drex: Ow. Ana Bree: Come with us, Andur, we could use you on our mission. Andur Lundu: Oh what good can I do? Sindarin: We are tasked with the destruction of the Sith, and in this galaxy, any help is good help. Andur Lundu: Destroy the Sith huh, I could get back at those bastards for stealing my stuff. If it wasn’t for them I’d have been back a week ago and me and my wife would be livin the good life right now. They’ll pay. Luceff: So your coming with us. Andur Lundu: No point in stayin here. Too many…painful memories… Kyle Drex: Well now that your with us there’s something you should know. Andur Lundu: And what’s that? Kyle Drex: We have no ship. Sindarin: HK suggests we look for the ship you found. Andur Lundu: That thing? I doubt you’ll ever get it out of the sand not to mention even get it running, but why not? Sindarin: Well let’s hurry, if those Sith identify our ship we’ll be in big trouble.

The Jedi leave the cantina and begin down the road toward the gates.
Ana Bree: Where are we going to go once we find this ship? Kyle Drex: We could go to Nar Shadaa, it seems like its been a lifetime since I last saw my old home. Andur Lundu: That is if we can get the ship out. Kyle Drex: Don’t worry, that ship won’t stay buried for long. Zilfer: I could take you to Nar Shadaa on the ship I found on the Dune Sea. If the pay is adequate of course… Luceff: What? Zilfer, how’d you find us here? Zilfer: I’ve been tracking you since Chinine, I had no idea how important your quest truly was… Luceff: Your not going to try and take me back there, are you? Zilfer: No…I understand your decision to stay with the Jedi, and I want to help as well. Sindarin: You say you found a ship on the Dune Sea. Was it the Ebon Hawk? Zilfer: Yes…my brother’s ship… Sindarin: And who is your brother? Zilfer: Revan. Kyle Drex: Hahaha, yeah right mister, your brother is Revan, the Sith Lord turned Jedi who saved the Republic over one hundred years ago. You Gray Jedi sure do have active imaginations. Zilfer: Believe me or not, it’s true. It’s a long story how I came to be with you now but the fact of the matter is not only is Revan my brother, but we are one in the same. Ana Bree: So you’re like his clone or something? Zilfer: Something like that. HK-47: Statement: Master, his neural patterns do seem familiar, I’d say there is approximately a 93% chance what he claims is actually true. Kyle Drex: Well whoever you are, if you have the Ebon Hawk, why don’t you help us out and get us off this rock. Zilfer: Of course, follow me.
Zilfer leads the Jedi to the outskirts of town where the Ebon Hawk has landed.
Zilfer: Here she is, fastest ship in the galaxy, even after a hundred years. Kyle Drex: Man, what a piece of junk. Luceff: As long as it flies we can use it. Zilfer: She’s a little banged up, but she’s got it where it counts. Now get onboard, we leave right away.
The Ebon Hawk blasts off into space. Onboard, Ana sits in her chambers as Kyle enters.
Kyle Drex: Nice room, looks cozy. Ana Bree: For a hundred year old ship that was just dug out of the sand…yeah I guess it is. Kyle Drex: We never talked about what you said on Alderaan, about you being a distraction. I just want to say… Ana Bree: No, never mind that. I had a talk with Cassus, he told me that I shouldn’t be concerning myself with others so much as I should just learn to trust myself. Kyle Drex: Wow, he told you that? Ana Bree: In his way. Anyway, I do care about you but I didn’t want to interfere with your training. I realize now that was not my decision to make. Kyle Drex: You’re not a distraction, without you I would’ve never gotten this far, and I won’t go any further without you either. Ana Bree: But how can you be sure? What if we’re making a mistake and… Kyle Drex: You worry too much.
Kyle leans forward and kisses Ana, just then Andur walks into the room.
Andur Lundu: Woooooo, nice one kid. Kyle Drex: Is there something we can help you with? Andur Lundu: No sir, just lookin for a room. Don’t mind me, as you were. Ana Bree: I should…probably go.
Ana leaves the room.
Kyle Drex: Well thanks a lot Andur. Andur Lundu: Oh don’t worry, the way you two were goin at it, she’ll be back. Kyle Drex: Yeah, yeah… HK-47: Observation: I heard some shouting in here, is something the matter master? Shall I kill the meatbag? Andur Lundu: That’s my cue to leave. Kyle Drex: Nah let him go…HK can I ask you something? HK-47: Answer: Of course you can master, as you know my full functionality is at your disposal. Kyle Drex: What do you know about love? HK-47: Horrified Response: Oooohh no! Not this again! What is it with you organic meatbags and this emotion called love? Kyle Drex: Didn’t know love was such a touchy subject for a droid. HK-47: Statement: My former master asked me a similar question; I will tell you what I told him. Love is making a shot to the knees of a target 120 kilometers away using an Aratech sniper rifle with a tri-light scope. Kyle Drex: Wow. HK-47: Statement: I’m glad I could help master.
Kyle leaves the room and heads to the front of the ship where Zilfer, Luceff and Sindarin are.
Kyle Drex: So where are we headed. Luceff: Nar Shadaa, it’s as good a place as any. Sindarin: We can’t hide forever, we need a plan to find Darth Cain. Zilfer: Well I have a feeling Nar Shadaa will have a few answers. Nar Shadaa has a heavy Sith presence as well as bounty hunters, some of which may be willing to give us some valuable information, if the price is right. Kyle Drex: Nar Shadaa is a rough place, I have feeling this could get messy.
