Iconoclast-class DestroyerIconoclast-class Destroyer - Used mainly as a light assault vessel and a defense for low-class worlds, the Iconoclast destroyer is lightly armed and can carry only a limited number of personnel and fighter craft. The main purpose of these vessels is to have a vessel that can be quickly built and purchased cheaply so lower-class Dominion worlds can be protected when under attack. Length - 180 meters Armament • 10 Laser Cannons • 12 Point-Defense Laser Cannons • 2 Ion Cannons Complement • 250 Crew • 75 troops • 250 other passengers Starcraft• 5 Fury Interceptors Sensors - The Iconoclast Destroyer is not used as a communications vessel, but as a light assault craft. Therefore, its sensors are average, but its communications are lax. They are therefore almost always found with larger capital ships to aide them on long-range missions. Hyperdrive - Class 8 with a class 18 backup Suggested price - 1000 credits

Infidel-Class RaiderInfidel-class Raider Raiders are used as fast attack vessels which can quickly speed past a ship's defenses and board the larger ship. The Infidel class is the more heavily armoured of the two classes but cannot carry as many troops. Length - 150 meters Armament• 2 Laser Cannons • 6 Point-Defense Laser Cannons • 2 Ion Cannons Complement • 135 Crew • 24 troops for boarding actions • 95 other passengers Starcraft• None Sensors - Despite its small size, the Infidel Raider boasts fairly advanced sensor and communication systems which allows it to operate fairly independently for a limited range, but it is more commonly found in squadrons or with other larger ships to help protect it from attack by larger ships. Hyperdrive - Class 3 with a class 12 backup Suggested price - 850 credits

Idolator-class RaiderIdolator-class Raider The least armoured of the two Raider classes but can carry more troops than the Infidel class, it is preferred by officers sent on missions to infiltrate an enemy ship by itself, which it excells at. It's defensive sensors give off a strange electro-magnetic field which can be projected at a ship, temporarily blinding the ship's sensors and giving the Idolator about enough time to attach to the ship and board. Length - 175 meters Armament• 1 Turbolaser Cannon • 8 Point-Defense Laser Cannons Complement• 100 crew • 48 troops for boarding actions • 85 other passengers Starcraft• None Sensors - The sensor systems on the Idolator Raider are very advanced compared to other ships in the Dominion Navy. It is also capable of temporarily disabling a ship's sensor systems giving it enough time to board its troops. Hyperdrive - Class 3 with a class 11 backup Suggested price - 1,000 credits

Well, you do know that if you are already on a mission and buy a ship while on that mission, you cannot use it until after, right?

Slaughter-class Cruiser- Slaughter; Top-Left - Murder; Bottom-RightSlaughter-class Cruiser One of the two cruisers used by the dominion to escort Battleships and Grandcruisers, the Slaughter-class boasts four Heavy Turbolaser cannons, giving it excellent broadside capabilities. Length - 550 meters Armament• 4 Turbolaser Batteries • 15 Light turbolasers • 20 Point-Defense Laser Cannons • 20 Dual Laser Cannons • 10 Ion Cannons Complement• 450 crew • 270 troops • 300 other passengers Starcraft• 10 Avrus Lighters • 30 Fury Interceptors • 20 Starhawk Bombers Sensors - The Slaughter-class' sensors and communications are only average and can be disabled by only a dozen Ion Cannon blasts from other ships. Therefore, this class fields an electro-magnetic field which helps absorb Ion blasts, but only to a certain extent. Hyperdrive - Class 6 with a class 15 backup Suggested price - 5,500 credits Murder-class Cruiser The second cruier used for the escort of larger ships, the Murder-class fields a numerous amount of slightly weaker weapons in place of few, more powerful weaponry such as seen on the Slaughter-class. Length - 635 meters Armament• 32 Turbolasers • 15 Light Turbolasers • 10 Ion Cannons • 25 Point-Defense Laser Cannons Complement• 575 Crew • 395 troops • 465 other passengers Starcraft• 15 Avrus Lighters • 30 Fury Interceptors • 20 Starhawk Bombers Sensors - Much more reliable than the Slaughter-class', the Murder-class' sensors are shielded by fairly strong particle shielding on all its main systems, making them harder to disable. They are also more heavily armoured. Hyperdrive - Class 6 with a class 15 backup Suggested price - 4,000 credits

Retaliator-class CruiserRetaliator-class Cruiser The first of the two cruisers designed to operate independently, the Retaliator-class is armed with powerful Mass Driver cannons, giving it better broadside power than the Slaughter-class Cruiser. The only downside to this ship is the deflector shield generator being so venerable on the ship's mid-rim. Length - 680 meters Armament• 16 Heavy Mass Driver cannons • 4 Heavy Turbolaser Cannons • 30 Turbolasers • 15 Quad Turbolaser batteries • 15 Quad Laser Batteries • 25 Ion Cannons Complement• 610 crew • 425 troops • 585 other passengers Starcraft• 15 Avrus Lighters • 30 Fury Interceptors • 20 Starhawk Bombers Sensors - Better sensor and communication systems than any other smaller Dominion ship, the Retaliator-class has backup systems which can be utilised when the primary systems are disabled, making this ship very reliable and a favored Flagship. Hyperdrive - Class 5 with a class 13 backup Suggested price - 6,500 credits

Executor-class CruiserExecutor-class Cruiser The second of the cruisers used by the Dominion that are designed to operate independantly, it is used mainly as a fleet carrier and is armed mainly with Point-Defense weaponry to defend itself against enemy starcraft. It isn't completely uselss against other capital ships, though. It is also armed with powerful Mass Driver Cannons that can be fired at an enemy who is close enough. Length - 688 meters Armament• 16 Heavy Mass Driver Cannons • 55 Point-Defense Laser Cannons • 35 Ion Cannons • 30 Dual Laser Cannons Complement• 630 crew • 450 troops • 600 other passengers Starcraft• 15 Avrus Lighters • 30 Fury Interceptors • 20 Starhawk Bombers Sensors - Very similar to the Retaliator-class Cruiser's systems, it has multiple backup systems which can be activated if the main systems are disabled. Hyperdrive - Class 5 with a Class 13 backup Suggested price - 6,900 credits

Repulsive-class BattlecruiserRepulsive-class Grand Cruiser Grandcruisers are warships that are, in scale, between a normal cruiser and a battleship. These large warships are able to challenge an Imperator II-class Star Destroyer with ease and are used mainly in major battles and assaults. Length - 1,675 meters Armament• 3 Heavy Turbolaser Batteries • 20 Heavy Mass Driver Cannons • 85 Point-Defense Laser Cannons • 50 Turbolasers • 50 Light Turbolasers • 10 Heavy Turbolaser Cannons • 50 Ion Cannons • 25 Enhanced Ion Cannons Complement• 10,000 crew • 3,000 troops • 5,000 other passengers Starcraft• 30 Avrus Lighters • 72 Fury Interceptors • 50 Starhawk Bombers Sensors - The sensors of the Repulsive-class Grand cruiser are unparalelled, even by Battleships. Heavily armored and shielded, they can withstand massive amounts of Ion blasts and take massive damage from other weaponry before giving out. Even then they have backup systems which can be activated when the main systems fail. Hyperdrive - Class 3 with a class 8 backup Suggested price - 25,000 credits

Desolator-class BattleshipDesolator-class Battleship - The larger and more heavily armed and armoured of the two battleships fielded by the Dominion, the Desolator-class excells in it role as a combat vessel and is favored by many as a flagship. Despite this, Battleships are slow and hard to maneuver. Length - 5,700 meters Armament• 12 Heavy Turbolaser Cannons • 35 Heavy Mass Driver Cannons • 100 Turbolasers • 120 Light Turbolasers • 100 Quad Turbolaser Batteries • 200 Point-Defense Laser Cannons • 65 Turbolaser Batteries • 50 Ion Cannons • 50 Enhanced Ion Cannons Complement• 95,000 crew • 35,000 troops • 55,000 other passengers Starcraft• 75 Avrus Lighters • 144 Fury Interceptors • 100 Starhawk Bombers Sensors - Even though the Desolator-class Battleship doesn't have backup, shielded or armoured systems, they are able to operate and penetrate all but the heaviest disturbances, making them optimum as flagships. Hyperdrive - Class 1 with a class 6 backup Suggested price - 53,000 credits

Despoiler-class BattleshipDespoiler-class Battleship The smaller, but faster of the two battleships fielded by the Dominion, it is capable of outrunning all but the fastest of capital ships. When combined with its overwhelming amount of firepower, this ship is very valuable to any Dominion force and is used only on very important missions. Length - 5,800 meters Armament• 10 Heavy Turbolaser Cannons • 30 Heavy Mass Driver Cannons • 90 Turbolasers • 100 Light Turbolasers • 90 Quad Turbolaser Batteries • 120 Point-Defense Laser Cannons • 60 Turbolaser Batteries • 55 Ion Cannons • 55 Enhanced Ion Cannons Complement• 95,250 crew • 30,000 troops • 50,000 other passengers Starcraft • 70 Avrus Lighters • 132 Fury Interceptors • 110 Starhawk Bombers Sensors - Virtually the same as the sensors onboard the Desolator-class Battleship, they are capable of penetrating all but the most heaviest of disturbances. Hyperdirve - Class 1 with a class 5 backup Suggested price - 54,000 credits

so here is my one question.
lets say for the sake of argument that we accept these. What happens, when you don't buy any because you never take the time to get any money and you move onto your next all powerful plot idea that requires you to design an entire new fleet of ships... that you can't afford?

I'll be buying them, don't worry. I have begun my own campaign to gain credits and I will not stop until my fleet is complete.
