Selene stood perfectly motionless. Her heart beat had slowed down to slow even beat, nearly half of what it would normally be in such a bad place. She stood there just looking Jack in his cold, almost empty eyes while keeping her saber at her side. As she did she seemed to just fall deeper into nothingness, he seemed that removed from everything she ever knew. She wondered if it was some sort of trick or if she was really facing someone like that.

Jack sighed, shaking his head with a slight grin at Zilfer's assertions.
"I don't think you need my indulgences to be thought of as stupid," Jack answered, "Your words do a fine job of that themselves. You should consider yourselves fortunate, I have no further use for you or your comrades, so you're free to leave. Luster however... we have some catching up to do."
With that Jack smiled and stepped towards Luster, the lights quickly going out for Selene, Ryuu and Zilfer. They then would awake laying on the battle field where Kamisori had been killed. Ryuu's eyes opened slowly as he awoke, looking around, almost unsure what he had just seen was real.

As the light's faded zilfer woke up on the ground and sitting up he slammed his fist into the ground. "I failed....." said Zilfer as he stood up dusting himself off for a moment before clentching his fist.
"From one threat into another...." said Zilfer more to himself then Ryuu, and then looking at Ryuu. "It seems we have a dilema on our hands Ryuu...... First we need to find out what happened to your father."

"Actually... I think we should report this to the Jedi Temple," Ryuu replied, "We'll need as many allies as we can get. There's no telling what could happen if we try to go looking for Cain again."
Ryuu clipped his lightsaber to his belt and turned back towards the ruin of the village, pausing to take in the moment.
"What happened to Kankage may only be the beginning," Ryuu said with a sigh, "We must take every measure we can to prevent anything like this from happening anywhere else... and we're going to need your help. You're the best chance we've got, only you know how to use power at the levels they do."

Zilfer nodded to Ryuu for a moment. Kankage was utterly destoryed, he had considered this place a home. Zilfer took his last remainning fury out on a tree obliterating it with lightning and then perked up as if he remembered something. "Me, the best chance we got. With Alex, I couldn't even save the blade." said Zilfer for a moment, and then he headed to the tower that had broken down into rubble. "If I am to help you... I need something of your fathers. Just hope that it's still here."
Zilfer headed towards the tower, and clasping his hands together blocks began to rise into the air forming a circle in the air before Zilfer let them slam to the ground. He moved forward searching the muddy area, and at one point he stopped as he foot felt something. Bending down he uncovered a black stoned book, that was really worn from time, however golden lettering still appeared to be on the cover, in ancient Kumori.
"Leave it to Alex to write a book in a dead language." said Zilfer as he picked it up and opened it checking the information before looking at Ryuu. "This is it. I'll come with you to the jedi, however I do not know if I should teach you the arts within this book."
Zilfer puased a moment before explainning. "Hear me out. I heard about the jedi temple, and imagine this power in the hands of many. Alex did not wish me to know this power, but he taught me against his better judgement. I do not know what convinced him of this." said Zilfer as he put the book into a back pack for safe keeping. He wanted to know if he was going to have any problems right off the bat or not with Ryuu. He had only met Ryuu twice, and both times where very brief.

"Alex already tried to teach me," Ryuu began, "I failed before, but I was only a child then. I'm ready now. I've honed the skills he taught me and my ability to manipulate fire has risen greatly. All I need is a bit more guidance and I'm sure I can master it."
Ryuu was very sure of himself, he suspected that his father's reluctance to teach Zilfer may have had something to do with his own earlier failure to avoid the dark side. There was no doubt that these techniques were inherently dark by the Jedi's standards, but in the end they are simply the force. And the force is only as dark as the intentions of the user.

"We shall see, i'm not familiar with the Fire element however once we find out the jedi's course of action it appears I may have to become a teacher." said Zilfer wondering whether he was fit to teach anyone. "I've never tuaght anyone anything for that matter." luaghed Zilfer at his own pardicument, as he put his mask back upon his face. "We should head to the Jedi. There's nothing for us here."

Ryuu nodded, following Zilfer to his ship. Most of the Jedi Masters had gone missing, so he knew it wouldn't be too difficult to convince the rouge Jedi that were left to consider this kind of training. All he could hope is that they weren't too late...

Selene fallowed the two men silence. She knew that they would need help and she would continue to provide it as long as Jack was around. She could not let a maniac like Jack, destroyer of worlds, to run around. When they left for their ship, she went to Kamisori's shuttle and fallowed them to Coruscant.
