And the real usefulness behind Cain's protective bubble is revealed. The telekinetic energy wrapped around Cain easily deflected the falling rocks away allowing Cain to continue to concentrate. The combined effects of the force drain and plague had to be putting a strain on Jor, even with the power Cain was gathering from his opponent it was taking a lot of effort to maintain his defenses and continue his attacks.
As Cain absorbed more and more of Jor's power he could feel that there was something clearly different about this guy. His well of power was unnaturally large... even if he were simply drawing in the force from around himself, a normal person would not have been able to keep up that sort of pace. Cain had only seen this sort of thing in one other... his old master Jack Makura. Jack's force power was nearly inexhaustible, but this was due in large part to the presence of the intangible which had made a bond with him. Was it even possible that... could Jor be drawing power from a similar source as well?
If that were the case then trying to kill him would be futile. But Cain could try one last technique to give himself the upper hand. With plague having disrupted Jor's mental capacity now was the time to strike. Cain reached deep into Jor's mind, beyond simply reading his thoughts Cain began to disrupt the force in Jor's head and rip the memories from him, draining his knowledge. In order to do this Cain stopped the force drain on Jor's body to divert more of his energy toward emptying Jor's head.
This still proved a very difficult task. Cain winced from the strain as a small stream of blood ran down from his nose... He wouldn't be able to turn Jor into a vegetable, but hopefully he could get enough...

"So be it." said Lord Nanashi as he walked away a man emerged from the bushes. He turned to Wraithen with a smirk. "Follow me, trust me... you don't want to linger here too long."
Lord Nanashi then jumped up high onto the ledge of the cannon motioning for Wraithen to climb up or find a way up. Meanwhile he looked at Jor seeing Cain's illusion. Smirking he activated Kyo's lightsaber tossing it into the air along with the body of the old intangible still in the form of a sharp sword blade. Both soared through the air spinning on a direct path to slice Jor in half, as Lord Nanashi waited for Wraithen to catch up.

Jor smiled as his option B looked like it was working. Jor tightened his grip on Cain suddenly, then withdrew his presence in the force rapidly pulling with it as much of Cain's defensive bubble as he could.
Kyo's lightsaber deactivated in the air and bounced harmlessly off his hip while he deftly caught the blade at its base with a fist of the force and launched it skyward several hundred feet. With that done he completely withdrew from the force, making his presence small. His hands, now free came up to feel his face and he found that his nose was also bleeding and he didn't know why. unlike his counterpart in this universe, Mirror Jor didn't know the first thing about any kind of mental manipulation. His abilities in that area were next to nill.
Cain's assault however would be cut short as the pair of proton torpedo's snaked their way towards him. Neither torpedo was actually targeting him, programed to explode directly overhead a few feet, and the missiles themselves were launched by a computer program, taking any malevolence out of the equation and since Cain was so fixated on probing Jor's mind the only thing Cain would sense is an immediate danger directly above him.
The Dragoon's pilots were back in the passenger cabin, slightly creeped out by the ship flying itself. But Rita knew what she was doing. she deployed another pair of missiles, these ones drones, to fool sensors in the area into thinking there were 3 dragoons instead of just one.

Lord Nanashi tilted his head for a moment not contesting the telekensis Jor had just unleashed against his own, which he found rather lacking at the moment. His attention was soon turned to a ship in the air that fired missles.
"Homosapiens and their guns..." muttered Lord Nanashi under his breath as he held his hands towards the sky at the fired missles and with telekensis directing them straight back to the source. The Dragoons.

Cain's bubble suddenly was depleted, but in order to do this Jor had to drop a significant amount of his own energy. Both of their defenses were down and Cain decided not to let up on the gas, trusting Nanashi to shield him while he was temperately vulnerable. Cain's face twisted, without the bubble 100% of his strength was now behind draining Jor's mind completely dry. Even though Jor had made his presence small Cain was still linked to his mind and mercilessly continued his assault.

The safeties on the missiles engaged when they registered they were off coarse and they detonated in the air. Meanwhile Rita was putting her dragoon through some interesting maneuvers as she went vertical up the cliff face and leveled out 40 feet off the deck and rocketing off to the west.
Jor called Kyo's lightsaber to his hand. He had to look at it to find the switch. He wasn't used to devices like this. He'd always used a blaster when dealing with the Builders.
The violet blade came out with a snap-hiss and Jor was running for the cliff face again.

"Always the same," said Lord Nanashi as Jor began his running. "First they fight, then they run."
Lord Nanashi reached out to the force giving Jor's legs a quick blast of telekensis to the legs to shoot them out from under him and trip him up.

With most of Jor's knowledge forcefully ripped from him, the psychological damage would be great. Cain decided to finally cut off his assault as he felt Jor growing closer. His eyes opened again and with a smirk he wiped the blood from under his nose and looked up towards the top of the canyon. The ship that had fired at him had moved away and Nanashi had used the force to try and trip Jor up. Cain doubted this would slow him much so he remained ready.
"Sorry for the distractions," Cain said to Wraithen, still with his head craned upwards, "This will only take a few more moments," with that Cain kept himself connected with Jor, feeling his movements and waiting patiently for him to return.

Jor leaped over Nanashi's force wave and landed at the cliffs edge. He pointed the lightsaber into the ground, quickly carving something there before leaping from it's face as high as he could.
Rita had circled around and was picking up speed. The Dragoon had reached it's maximum top speed and dropped below the cliff. Rita tipped it sideways with it's port side up and her cockpit against the cliff. the side hatch opened and Jor fell through it to the ships interior but not before he had a chance to deactivate Kyo's saber and toss it towards Ryuu for him to catch.
Jor hit the interior starboard side of the ship with a thud and then quickly slammed into the deck as the ships internal gravity took him. Rita shut the hatch and fired her remaining 3 warheads into the cliffs. They're directional explosives stabbed into the rocky cliff face and started a rock slide.
Meanwhile the Dragoon engaged silent running and stayed low for a few miles before finally turned up for an orbital vector.
Jor sat down on one of the passenger cabin benches and put his hand to his head. for some reason he had one hell of a headache. He couldn't think strait and it just got worse the more he thought about it. His noes was gushing blood now and one of the pilots had to grab a piece of gauze from the first aid kit to stop it.
Jor didn't care. he was amped up, his adrenalin was going and his heart was racing but for some reason he just felt drained. He was soo tired he felt like he could sleep for a year. But he'd fought for the first time in this universe and was confident. Ryuu was powerful, but so were most of the Ratakan captains. They had to be in order to power their ships.
Jor kicked himself for leaving his sword back at the bottom of the valley, but he still had his blasters. he was better with those anyway.
Back at the cliff face, the only thing left was a large hole in the side of the cliff and the words "Better Luck Next Time Chief" carved into the rock at the cliffs edge.

Cain felt Jor as he leaped into the ship and took off into orbit. The missiles that struck the cliff face caused the rocks to come cascading down toward Cain and Wraithen, but Cain simply used telekinesis to form a barrier, stopping all the rocks from hitting them both before tossing them out of the way. Cain stepped over towards the lightsaber dropped into the canyon and summoned it to himself with the force, placing it on his belt next to his own lightsaber.
Cain then noticed a katana sticking up out of the ground. He pulled it out and examined it briefly before tucking it away and turning to Wraithen, "What do you say we get out of this cramped canyon now?" he asked, using telekinesis to then lift him and Wraithen up in much the same way Jor had earlier before jumping out of the canyon. Cain noticed the message etched in the cliff and chuckled, "Same to you..."
Cain walked calmly toward Nanashi and the ship giving him a slight nod as he passed, "Well done, Lord Nanashi. I think it's about time we returned to Coruscant."

Rune was in a cold sweat from his dreams, or visions, whatever you wanted to call them. He swung his legs around to the side of the med-bay, having them hang off the side for a moment before stepping down. He decided he wouldn't mention the visions right away, or possibly at all. Considering it was the first time it had ever happened to him, he wondered why..Possibly it was the crash or the impact, stirred something up from his past. Something from which he couldn't remember, something before his time amongst the sand people. Standing up in the med-bay he felt dizzy but fine, he wondered how he got here though.

Lord Nanashi smirked at Cain as he watched Jor get away yet again, yet another retreat, and yet another failed attempt to fight the republic. Somehow he got the feeling that Jor would never learn. "Everyone thinks their a god somehow." said Lord Nanashi before turnning back to Cain. "Time to get this show on the road."
Lord Nanashi headed back to his ship with Cain, and Wraithen starting up the ship. He passed a confused man on the way past the med bay, and the doctor was already trying to repair the kolto tank Drake had busted. The ship would soon fly up into the atmosphere and enter hyperspace.
