Vici awoke with a small sound of a cough. Looking over she saw Raina laying down next to her, starring. "What is it young one?" She asked in a soft voice whiling smilng at her.
Raina with her beautiful eyes lit as a child's eye would be she sat up with a question upon her face and Vici knew what it was.
"The man that saved our lives.." She passed. "Yes, Raina he is and you should not be afraid of him. A good man he is but I don't no if he can be here for us. Issaru is a good man to and my husband but I can understand the way you feel. Jake and Justin went threw the same thing you are now. They hate Alex but you are to young to know why."
"But, he my daddy."
"I know hun but you will learn all when older. I promise I won't leave you in the dark."
"Ok."
Vici looked towards her door as if she felt someone on the other side listening. She didn't move but gave the feeling out that she knew who ever it was she knew that they were there.
"I sense the others will be coming soon and we will stay here in the temple."
Raina shook her head and laid down yet to Vici. Vici stroked her hair and hummed a tune that her father use to when she was Raina's age. Looking back towards the door she sensed the person still there. She spoke to them threw the force. "Who ever you are better get away from my door. I wish not to be bother." Sensing them they still didn't move. "Fine! What is it that you wish?"

Alex: I wish to check on my daughter.
Alex walked through the door and slipped his mask off. His face strangely looked almost normal, say for the scar still over his right eye. He smiled at Raina as she ran to him.
Alex: Good to see you're both still in one piece.
Raina: Is this the Jedi temple?
Alex: It is.
Raina: Where are all the Jedi then?
Alex: Daddy sent them on a... special assignment.
Raina: Will they be back soon?
Alex: No my dear... I'm afraid they won't.

Vici looked at Alex and tilted her head. ""Special Assignment", eh?" She looked at Raina who looked at Alex in wonder and exictment. She knew that Raina didn't want to be with anyone but her and Alex but Vici had to think about Suzanka and Issaru too. Where would her real place be at this point. Issaru, Justin, Jake hated Alex and Alex really didn't like them either. Where was she to stand in all of this? Raina wanted to be with her father and so did she. I mean Vici had always loved Alex and she still does but she also loves Issaru too.
Vici looked up at Alex and smiled but sighed at the same time not really realizing she was sighing.
Threw her thoughts she heard Raina asked Alex, "But, why won't they be back? Did they do something wrong or will they be hurt?"
Vici smiled softly at Raina. Alex never really had a child before, until now that is. Vici had Justin and Alex but has been helping to raise her grandchildren and now Raina and Suzanka. She knew it all and she knew she would have to help Alex out to because even one child is a handfull.

Alex: Don't worry about the Jedi baby, I'm going to take care of them.
Alex looked back up at Vici and noticed the concern in her eyes.
Alex: Your family is probably worried about you. They'd probably throw a fit if they knew I brought you here. You will eventually need to go back to them, but Raina... As much as I'd hate to say it, you won't be safe if I sent her back with you. Because she is my daughter the Sith will always hunt her. I don't see much recourse then to have her remain here with me where she'll be safe.... and so you and your family can live in peace.

Vici looked away knowing every word to be true but Raina was her daughter too and was apart of her family. "I understand your words Alex but I believe I still will not be safe anywhere I go. My family will be because no one really knows they and my blood. Zilfer knows but he wouldn't go after them though I know he would me if he still couldn't get to Raina in which we both know he will."
At the sound of Zilfer's name a til came over Raina and for a second Vici saw it. "Raina my dear. Please, come sit next to me."
Raina looked up at Alex then walked over sitting beside Vici. Vici then looked at Alex. "She is my blood to Alex and she is apart of my family. They all love her too and would hate to be without her. I want to be with you all but to be with you Alex is like shaking hands with Death itself. Raina shouldn't grow up in all that madness. She must be a child first. To have fun, laugh and play without the death, blood, and anger. I don't want to rob her of that chance Alex. She needs to be."

Alex: Vici please, search your feelings. You know that she can't have those things. As a child all I ever wanted was my family too... and I had to find out the cruel reality of my destiny by watching them slowly burn to death. Is that what you want for her?
Alex lowered his mask again and turned away from Vici.
Alex: I know you care for her and want to be with her. But it's a dream... that's all it ever was. This blood is a gift... and a curse. It was never my intention to pass that curse on to another, but I won't make the same mistake my father did. I won't leave her to deal with that curse on her own. You must understand there is no other way...

Vici stood. "You can't just take my child away from me Alex. She is my blood to and I will do what I must too that is best for her. I know the risk and I know my sons would agree with me too. They know this is my fight and they may not like it but I will do what I have to in order to keep all of them safe from harm. As a mother Alex, you wouldn't beable to begin to understand. You left me to protecting me but you knew I couldn't ever stay away. I wanted this to happen and it did. My path is clear as glass Alex. Can't you see that?"

Alex: Please don't make this difficult my love. I told you to stay away from me... but you didn't. Perhaps I am as responsible for this as you, but the situation is what it is. I'm the commander of the Republic military in the midst of a war, do you think I want to be raising a child now?
Alex turned back to face Vici.
Alex: It pains you to leave her, I know. But you are not strong enough to protect her from what is to come. That is why you couldn't be with me and that is why you can't be with her. It will destroy you Vici... completely and utterly until what is left of your shattered heart is nothing more then a faded memory. You would do best to heed my words this time. Go... go back to your home. Back to your life. And this time, don't look back.

She took a few steps towards him and stopped. "You know I can't do that Alex. She is my child too. I can't let go. Not again. If it takes me then that is my path. Call me foolish or whatever you wish but you can not make me leave my daughter behind. After what Cain did all those years ago...I can't lose another Alex. They were takin from me and I am not about to let Raina go."
Raina got out of the bed, walking up behind Vici she took her hand and looked up into her mothers eyes. Vici looked down and smiled at the beautiful sun shine then at Alex as her hand went to her handle of her saber. "I love you Alex but if you say one more thing about me or Raina along the lines of what you keep saying...I just don't want it to come to that. Please my love you can't understand my feelings right now."
The fire within was starting to heat up. Anger set in as she was fighting it away but Alex wasn't listening to her words. No matter what or where Vici could always find Alex and this time a mothers love for her child was even stronger then anything known and was even stronger then the force itself.
"The only way I will leave her is if I am dead and the only way for I to be truly gone is if my own blood destroyed me otherwise I will always come back. She is mine Alex and I am not about to give her up."

Alex shook his head and with a flick of his wrist the doors slammed behind him.
Alex: You leave me little choice then. I told you once not to let your personal feelings get in the way of what must be done. You have a chance now to live happily ever after on a farm with your other children which you now seem to be forgetting. To spend the rest of your years in the quiet embrase of your good ol' hubby Issaru. But if you cannot see Raina for what she is then you are doing nothing but putting her in danger.
Alex took off his mask and threw it across the room. His eyes shimmered almost unnaturally in the dimly lit room. Alex casually brushed the hair from in front of his face and behind his ear.
Alex: Since I have no wish to kill you in front of your daughter I will give you one more chance to leave here. I just hope now you understand how serious this situation is. The blood of the Luminos MUST not fall into the hands of Darth Hanzu.

Vici looked down at Raina who was looking up at her with fear in her eyes.
TTF to Raina: "Do not show fear young one or it will get the better of you and will lead to death more quickly. Be strong for me. He is your father but he does not see nor understands the power within a mothers heart. To fight and to die will bring me back stronger but I will not be the same if that happened. You are my blood to and I will protect you just as he is trying to do. I will fight for you my little one but that is up to you."
Raina looked at her softly but the fear was gone. Then looking for her to Alex she stepped in between them both and didn't take her eyes off of Alex. "My mother." She said strongly. "And you my father. Love not hate."
Vici smiled a little at Raina words. She did love Alex with all her heart and Raina could tell Alex loved them both too. "Why fight?"
Vici took her hand off of her saber. "Alex if you are going to try to take her from me then kill me now. I will not draw my saber. You will have to kill me now because once you leave and I am not dead you will be."

Alex: *sigh*... Love... Hate... it does not matter which path you choose. The destination is always the same.
Alex raised his hand and began to crush Vici's neck.
Alex: No more words now my love. I tried to help you, I really did. But now you have become more trouble then you're worth. This will hurt me more then it hurts you...
With a swing of his arm he tossed Vici aside and into the wall. As Alex approached her he stopped next to Raina and looked down at her.
Alex: You were right to be afraid. Fear is the only ally you have now. Embrace it and in time you will feel its power.
Alex then turned his attention back to Vici. As he raised his left hand in front of his face it began to spark and come alive with electricity.
Alex: Now I can't lie. This, my love... is really going to hurt you... more then it hurts me.
Alex brought his hand forward and an explosion of Force Lightning shot outward and into Vici. With Raina watching Alex continued to pummel her until she stopped moving.
