OOC: It is finals week, posting well be erratic.
IC:
Elisa closed her eyes as the ship left and pulled her lifghtsaber crystal out of her pocket. She used telekinesis to float the crystal in front of her. Your going home she thought to herself as she looked at the small rock. After a few seconds grabbed the crystal from the air and put it back in her pocket. She then looked out the window at the planet. "You cannot say that is not a beautiful sight. It is even more lovely then Polus." Elisa said as the Dragoon headed towards the planet and the white world filled the window. She defiantly was going to make Ilum her home.

Tycen had stayed in his chambers all of the last two days, Again in deep thought on that decisions he had made. Most all were negative, He pulled a small, fragile object from one of the drawers he'd placed it in earlier in the trip. It was a small black flower, Though it was actually a extremely dark blue or purple, It did look black, Like the one he made on Chinine when he was first taught the ability, His teacher the person he would betray latter on, Yuki. He stared at it blank faced for an eternity until over the loud speaker he heard the voice of Jor stating he had two seats left.
Choosing rather to go and do something, Help with this new Jedi order, Then to sit and sulk Tycen quickly stood up and made his way to the hanger, Moving at more of a run then a walk. Once he made it, Relieved to see they hadn't taken off, He briskly made his way on board the second dragoon, The dragoon that hadn't taken off. And lucky enough for him stayed just long a moment more before taking off, Tycen barely getting both feet in it seemed.
He moved in and took a spot quickly and quietly, choosing instead to wait for order then engage in conversation with anyone.

Jor piloted the Dragoon through the atmosphere. There was some bumps of hard air along the way but it was an uneventful and short cruise. The shuttle touched down the surface of Ilum deftly, it's landing gear sinking a few inches into the snow. The outpost they had landed at a few days ago was about 4 miles down the side of the Plateau. The top of the plateau was several miles in diameter and dead flat. Ice in every direction.
4 other Dragoons landed next to the one Jor had landed. Mirror Jor had stepped out of one with Hatori's body on a hovercart. A group of Marines came out behind him hauling a pair of rather large and rather heavy crates out of the dragoon behind him.
Another craft had landed nearby. It was nothing more then a box really, no larger then an outhouse. The door on it opened and a guy in a trench coat walked out. Jor smiled and unbuckled the crash webbing on his harness. He got up and climbed into the back of the Dragoon where he opened the side hatch. The cold air burst through the opening and Jor immediately regretted not fabricating another helmet.
He jumped off the Dragoons wing and his boots crunched into the snow. He walked over towards Six with a smile on his face. The two men hugged briefly and Six dropped a glass jar into the snow between them. it was filled with finger sized clear crystals. Jor knelt down and looked at it. "is that it?"
Six nodded. "Yep. Brought to you strait from Epsilon III. Thats one of the bits of Kosh tech i've managed to unravel so far. Just get it down into the bedrock, apply heat and stand back."
Jor raised an eyebrow and handled the jar. "How do they work?"
"They'll start growing. Taking minerals from the surrounding rock. They'll grow along a specific pattern to form a specific structure." Six explained.
"Defenses?" Jor asked.
Six shook his head. "Nothing offensive. But the crystals will absorb energy impacts with impressive resilience."
"Awesome, i'll have a team get them down into the caves as soon as possible." Jor said.

Kyo stepped off the Dragoon and into the snow... a bit of dejavous, as this planet looked a lot like one he'd just come from. There didn't seem to be much of anything other then white around them. Kyo felt a bit silly for having expected some sort of grand temple that would rival the one on Coruscant. Kyo noticed Mirror Jor with Hatori's body on a hovercart and hurried over, producing the holocron from his robes and placing it on the cart, "I think he'll want to take this..." Kyo said, giving Mirror Jor a short nod before heading off to find... erm... other Jor.
He was speaking with a man who Kyo was not familiar with. Kyo waited quietly until the two had finished their conversation before approaching Jor. He flinched slightly, about to bow to Jor but stopping himself just in time, "Excuse me, Jor... if you have a moment, there is something I would like to speak with you about," Kyo said, fighting to keep his hair in order against the winds on the planet's surface, "It's about visions I've been having recently. As you may have been aware I have had some flashes... memories from Ryuu Drake. However recently these visions have become more frequent and more intense..."

Jor listened to Kyo intently until he finished. Before responding he picked up the jar and turned to Six. "Thanks pal."
Six smiled. "hey thats not all i got. there's some more stuff i got for you."
Jor patted him on the finger. "I'll see you later then. Been a while since i've seen the inside of the Cronus, i wouldn't miss it."
Six nodded and opened the door to the small box shaped ship. "I'll hold you to that."
Jor waved and turned back towards Kyo. "We can talk over by the ship. Come on."
Jor looked up as 6 more dragoons flew over head. They were going to land at the outpost at the base of the plateau to unload supplies. The Captain had ordered all the Mare's small ships to land on the planet carry as many supplies as possible. Off in the distance a Corellian Star Shuttle landed on the flat surface of the plateau and started offloading marines.
Jor walked back over to the ship where Danny was busy pulling a crate out of the cargo compartment on the side of the dragoon they landed in. It was packed with field rations. When he noticed Jor approaching, Danny stood up, fighting the urge to spring to attention. "Danny. Take this and go grab some marines." Jor said handing him the Jar. "Go place it in the crystal caves. Coordinates will be provided by the Mare."
Danny accepted the jar and grabbed his rifle. "Understood. Give me 20."
Jor smiled. "Take 30. no rush, just get it done."
Danny nodded and moved off at a brisk run over to the Star Shuttle to get a team together. Jor turned to Kyo. "Ok Kid, you've got my full attention. What do you think these visions mean?"

"Well, I'm not totally sure," Kyo replied, thinking hard on Jor's question for a moment, "At first I had assumed that the visions were due to the cloning process... that perhaps some part of him was cloned into me and that it was all just coincidence. But the more I've learned of the force, the more it seems that coincidence is not the answer to anything," Kyo ran a hand though his hair, brushing the snow clean from it. He took a deep breath, the question was not an easy one... and the conclusion he wanted to come to only raised more questions.
"But if it is the force, that may mean that I am connected to Ryuu somehow," Kyo said, "But what I don't get is what this means. Why have the visions suddenly become stronger? Is it because I am becoming stronger?" Kyo realized he might be rambling, he decided to shut up then and see what input Jor might have.

"You are Ryuu's clone. I would have been supremely surprised if you didn't have some kind of connection with him." Jor said.
"You may be getting these flashes now because your more open to them now. You've changed a lot since the last time i saw you. Before you were one confused guy, unsure of anything and struggling with your identity. Now your a Jedi Knight, you've picked who you want to be." Jor explained.
"The force has grown in you. You are stronger now then you were when we last met. But we must also face the possibility that Ryuu is stronger now as well." Jor said. "I don't know what that means for you or for Ryuu but it could be dangerous. Tell me, through your visions, are you getting any...." Jor paused, trying to find the right words. "Are you getting any current memories? what he's seeing, where he's been?"

Kyo thought about it for a moment, "Possibly... it's hard to tell if they're current or not," he responded, thinking of the vision he had received not long ago during their trip to Ilum, "I saw darkness... Coruscant, but it wasn't as it is now. It was covered by dark clouds... there was pain there and then, nothing. The capital that was once such a loud and busy place had become like a hole in the force. If I were stronger I may have tried to see more... but the darkness has become so deep. I am unsure what I may find on the other side."

"It's not important." Jor said, waving him off when he said if he were stronger he could see more. "But it's worth noting that this might not be a one way link. If, you can see his memories through his visions, its entirely possible that he can see yours in the same way."
Jor put a hand on his shoulder. "It's important to remember though, you are not Ryuu." Jor pointed over to Mirror Jor in the distance who was helping the marines take the survival fire starter logs from the crates and piled it under Hatori's hovercart.
"You see him. He looks like me, he even talks a lot like me. But we're separate people. He is not me. The same holds true for you and Ryuu. No matter who he is or what he's done, the two of you are separate people." Jor said. He wished he could help more, it was obvious that these visions were troubling. To be honest Jor didn't much like the idea of them either, but he had a lot of pressing matters on his mind that he didn't much like. "Keep me informed. I'm always here if you need advice. I got your back." Jor finished. ______________________________________________
Dragoon 1313 hovered low next to the ice cave where Jor and his band of trainees had spent the night training nearly a week ago. The side hatch opened and Danny looked out. He stepped away from the hatch and pointed. "Go Marines."
3 other infantrymen jumped from the Dragoon and hit the snow rolling. Danny followed after them, not bothering with a roll and just bending his knees to absorb the fall. He aimed down the sight of his T-21 and entered the cave, his team staying close behind him.
The groups started into the cave at a brisk walk. They knew there were wild animals in the cave that would protect themselves so Danny decided to try and be as non threatening as possible. The moved past a next of Gorgodons who were mostly sleeping. those that were awake didn't bother to attack the small group, just growled at them.
Danny steered them clear, and they moved deeper in. When they reached the 900 yard mark Danny called his team to a stop and knelt down. he placed the jar filled with Crystals on the ground and put his rifle down. From his back he grabbed an emergency locater beacon and placed it on top of the jar.
"Saucy Mare. This is Marine team one. Objective is set, beacon active." He whispered into the com on his shoulder. He hand signaled his team to retreat and retreat fast. ______________________________________________
On the surface Jor's com buzzed. He held up a finger to signal Kyo to wait one before reaching up to his armor's collar and keying it. "go for Jor."
"Master Halcyon, Marine team one reports objective is placed. they're moving back now." The ops boss on the Mare reported.
"Understood, prepare fire mission, port side battery target beacon. wait for Marines to get clear then fire for effect." Jor said.
He got a double click of static telling him the order was received and acknowledged. A few minutes later, green turbolaser blasts streaked down from the heavens and struck the top of the plateau. Snow and ice vaporized on impact as the blasts struck home. A jet of water and snow flew high up into the sky as the turbolasers continued their fire for a full 20 seconds. The artificial snow started falling down on their little circle of Dragoons and silence settled over the plateau once the guns were silenced.
Jor took a deep breath. It had been a very long time since he'd called in an orbital strike. He felt like a grunt on the ground again and it was a nice change of pace from being the leader of the free galaxy. He turned to Kyo. "Come on Kid. Lets go pay our respects." he said and started walking towards Mirror Jor and Hatori.

"I will, Jor," Kyo answered to Jor's request that he keep him informed. He gave him a slight bow, not as a grunt to a superior officer but more as a way of saying thank you. Kyo was worried about what might be happening to Ryuu. Had Cain consumed him fully... was Kyo feeling Cain's presence now? If so did that mean that Cain would be able to see him? If that were the case then Kyo could be endangering everyone by being here... It was an unpleasant thought, but Kyo had faith in Jor's greater wisdom. For now he would simply keep Jor up to date with all of the things he sees.
Kyo followed over to where Hatori and Mirror Jor were. The holocron Kyo had given him was resting besides him. Kyo took it off the pyre so that it would not be burnt as well. He turned on the image, a young Hatori standing with a woman projecting in front of him. Kyo stared at the image silently, a great well of sadness building in him that he did not quite expect when he looked at the young boy with the woman. His eyes were bright and full of confidence. His smile wasn't forced as one might expect from a staged photograph. The woman held his hand gently in hers, quietly admiring the boy's grin with one of her own, "Do you think they'll find each other again?" Kyo asked, almost to himself though he was sure Jor would hear, "I'd like to think so... that maybe the dark side is only skin deep," Kyo smiled softly. It was a comforting thought... that even a story as sad as this Sith's was could have a happy ending.

Jor nodded. "I know they will." He said. He faced the pyre as the marines continued to pile the starter logs. "This life, all this history, our bodies, our friends, our families. It's just crude matter Kyo. The Dark Side may twist your body and mind but you are more then that. A lot more."
He turned his head to Kyo and smiled "Don't let that make you think i won't shoot ya if you turn though."

Exiting the ship after a few minutes due to a deep meditation before almost immediately covering his face and head with the clothe on his body. 'Terrific barren ice world...' Looking around and finding not many have left their ships most likely because of the freezing temp. in his opinion.
Sighing upon the sight of his hot breathe within sight in the open air he jumped out of the ship's doorway. Landing on the snow with a thud sinking into the white wonderland's surface. Trying to walk a few steps he tripped and fell face first, 'My people are not made for this kind of environment blasted!' growing annoyed from his inexperience with this type of terrain. Walking to a ice ledge after a few more falls he sat and began to meditate well out of everyones way.
The purpose of this was to adjust his body and calm his mind of all distractions. Doing this for a few minutes he soon heard something call out to him...more like an echo from within himself. Curious as to what it he his mind started to wander further and further into a tunnel like passage before going blank.

Moonfire couldn't help but smile with Jor's comment. "Which, by the way, you are in no way allowed to do." She added, patting Kyo's arm. "Or else I'll help him." She said tilting her head towards Jor.
The funeral pyre was warm, despite the bitter cold of Ilum. She never was a fan of the cold, even before her trip to Hoth. This seemed to be home for now though, so she might as well get used to it.
Resting her chin gently on Kyo's shoulder, Moonfire looked up at him. "You've got one of those thinking too seriously for your own good faces on. Mind laying some burden this way? Don't need you getting a chip on your shoulder."

Kyo smiled quietly, turning to Moonfire once she had spoke, "It's nothing... I've just been thinking about Ryuu a lot lately. It's strange, I've never even met him and yet I've still come to think of him as a brother," Kyo's gaze turned back to the pyre, the fires lighting up casting a dull glow on his face, "but I'm sure I don't need to explain that to you."
Kyo was silent for a moment, that look of seriousness back on his face. He tilted his head up to the stars, staring for a moment before he spoke again, "I've seen a lot in this past year. I've witnessed much of what the dark side is... and what it can do. Though it is a sad thing I can't help but feel hope, here, now. I see what has happened to Zilfer and even this kid... and I think that there might be hope for even Cain, slim as it may be... and for Ryuu. Hope that we might all find each other again, once all of this is over," Kyo laughed to himself softly, turning to Moonfire again with a smile, "But I'm sure I don't need to explain any of that to you either."

Her smile softened, wrapping her arms about his shoulders she pressed her cheek to his. "No, certainly don't. I can't tell you how often I day dream about everything returning to the way it was. No Cain. No running. No defending yourself at every turn. This conflict can't last forever though. I have a feeling, it'll all turn out for the best. Maybe thats just naive hope though." She mused, staring up at the stars as well. That was one plus of this planet. Not too much light pollution, the stars visible in all directions.
"Kyo, I think you are his family. More so than his father, thats for sure. That always surprised me about you, how willing you were to try and help to find him, to help him. I always figured if I was in that position, I'd take off. Try to be my own person and forget my origins. I guess you're a stronger person than me, a better Jedi too." Shrugging gently, she ran a hand through her shortly cropped hair, fluffing it out some.
"What do I know? I'm rambling again."
