As have several before me, I am here for clarification on some issues before I join what looks to be a pretty kuul RP site.

1.) When I have my character profile completed, I post it in the Character List thread, correct?

2.) Can I start off already owning a ship? (such as a Sith Starfighter or the Y-35)

3.) I have been role-playing for many years, but I've never really gotten into keeping track of things like battle points, charisma, hit points, and what have you---I've always been a storyline roleplayer. Is it kuul if I just do narrative role playing?

Just thought of another question:

I am thinking of making my potential character Mirialan (same species as Luminara Unduli), but I didn't see the planet listed. Do you think it would be in the Core or the Inner Rim?

1. Yes. But if a an admin sees a problem and tell you, we expect you to correct it. Please just make sure to read all the rules and stay in your character tier.

2. No you do not get to start with a ship. This is a fairly new rule, but we are trying to make sure people fallow it. You need to us public transportation or maybe a faction well provide you with a ship.

3. This has no stats, but it also has no narrator. We expect our members to play nice and play within reason. We want members to create their own story and work with others.

4. We use Wookieepedia for any questions like this. You would need to provide an admin with the planets location, planet's name and a link to Wookieepedia listing of the planet. Me or our lead admin; Empire Cain, our the best people to send a planet request to.

You should know several things.

First, you need TWO members to start a faction.

Second, Starting a new faction does not mean you get any additional privileges. You well still have to wait tell you are tier two to have Force users and buy your own ships. And they well not have the privileges of the Jedi Order (which is currently in existence), meaning it does not start out as an ally to the Jedi or the Republic. You have to make friends with them.

But what don't you understand? There is a format to fallow.

Is there a list of races available to tier 1 people for character creation?

And a weapon list available for use?

There's no set list. You can pretty much be any race from Star Wars cannon with the exclusion of Gen'dai and Vong (Also Intangibles, but you being new here probably don't know/care about them anyway). As for weapons, you can have just about anything that's within reason. We can be flexible about these sorts of things, these rules are in place just to keep every new member from coming in and wreaking havoc with a Vong wielding a death ray.

You only need to read Archive #1 there to get the idea of what an Intangible is. For a more to the point definition, they're humanoids with wings (kinda like an angel only not) who are ageless and born with an affinity to the force.

As to your second question, you participate just by picking a planet and posting. You also are welcome to join anyone else's story if you so choose. There's no rule saying you can't, but I would PM them about it first. No stats anymore and currency you get just for posting, so get to it. =P

@mik: New members can't be Vong and all these other things because they're overpowered. Certainly it is possible to role play these species in a fun way that would work with the rest of the overall plot, but unfortunately not every new member is capable of doing this. Which is why you have to establish yourself a bit first.

I am confused about the Holonet. What exactly can you do there? If your looking for a certain type of Job and want someone to hire you or something can you post that in there? Like lets say.. A free lancer, or assassin for hire? How would that work?

that was the idea behind it when i originally introduced the idea. It was a method of doing jobs to get credits so that one day, yo might dream of purchasing a ship from the shipyard.

but with virtually no economic system theres no real reason for it.
