you'd need a facility the size of several buildings on a densly populated planet to get anywhere near operational status for a 4000 year run. and during that time, the planet will change hands, get poked at and prodded. the energy it's putting out will get people suspicious.

OOC: Well, I am just tired of people bitching of something not able to happen. Come on people its only a freakin story. I will make it work if you just work with me. That way everyone is happen. I don't mean to sound like a bitch but your not making it that easy. This is the first time in a great while I come back into a RP and people are getting on my case. Instead of asking question just work it into the story. Help me out with it please. I still dont know everything there is to know about this stuff. Please and thank you for your time.

OOC-This story is taken place like right before the battle of Endor. Its basically in the movies. Same events, characters, etc.

OOC: That really doesn't tell me much. It dies but doesn't. Does it really matter how I brought her back? Like I said. It's only a story we are making up as we go. Is that ok with you people? I will still work it into the story and all so please no worries and besides what year would this be now in the story. 4000 years later would make it what? We need to keep the story going please.

OOC: The story is still going. Just at a little, "stand off". Plus, it's the holiday break and everyone might be spending time with their families and such. Anyway, I don't really care how you fit into the story. As for the year, I would think its around 4,000 years before KOTOR.

and yes this is a story, but it would be nice if it was a good one. and i don't really give a rats as if you havn't been in an rp in a while and now some jerk off who doesn't even post anymore is ridding your ass, the point is freezing is a cliche and it's unreasonable.
a time machine would be pretty lame most of the time but if written write it could be very good. it would have to be an accident, like a temporal rift during a hyperspace jump or something like that launched you into the future, but the use of a "time machine" would just be to fun for me to pick apart and pee on the peices.

The reason i brought it up is becuase i like to know how a person can just pop up after 4000 years reasonably, and how you plan to fit it into the story, becuase a story can fall apart when you dont have any reason why a charater that should be dead isnt dead. Not that this story isnt almost halfway dead anyways.... *goes back to rereading kotor story in the main storys* |

Lord Karke: Well, my lord I was brought back the same way you were but strangly it was in a place I never been before. It was weird because the person that brought me back was dark and I never saw there face. They said they knew me but I had no clue who they were. But, now we are both here now my master and I will follow you to the ends of the galaxy and back.
