Splin waited on Naboo, speaking to the Masters that had gone before him. This is the reason they did not show themselves to Master Drex. Splin sits and meditates...

Splin Cell(TTF): Will Kyle ever see past his own problems and see the problems of the galaxy???
Ana(Forec Ghost): Kyle is...stubborn. But he has a good heart Splin.
Splin Cell(TTF): If only that was enough...

A figure in a black tattered cloak stands infront of Master Drex.

Atredious: Why do you deny who you are Kyle?
Master Drex: I have a choice. That is not what I am.
Atredious: You want to know what to do with that saber don't you? Use it. Together you and I could easily rule the galaxy!
Master Drex: Your words may seem like wisdom, but my friends are with me, I am not alone to listen to your lies.
Atredious: Oh you are alone, they have abandoned you, you know this. They would not speak with you.....do you know why?
Master Drex: There is any number of reasons....
Atredious: They were consorting with your enemy......Splin Cell.
Master Drex: You're wrong, he's not my enemy, he's just misguided.
Atredious: He wants to take it from you, he wants the power for himself....
Master Drex: I dont believe you.
Atredious: You will see for yourself!

Suddenly Kyle's eyes open and he finds himself sitting alone as the sun peaks over the mountains.

Master Drex: What a nightmare.....

After slaying two jedi, and acquiring 2 lightsabers, Treaston gains a new found interest in the way of the Jedi. He does not know where to begin his journey, so he heads to the planet of Korriban, hoping to find something of the Siths past

??: we havent gathered like this in a long time.
??: not since that time where yuri returned from the dead.
??: yes, we must complete each of our missions before the next war.
yuri: my only consern is the luminos guy.....
??: i dont know you interest in him.... but do what you must.
yuri: dont worry my mission is already done... revan now knows we are not gone but he is the only one.
??: good now we must end now for someone might sence our gathering...
yuri: this place it is impossible to sence anything.

[Lord Nexus]

Splin continues to speak to the ghosts...

Si Quan(Force Ghost): You have been here once before Splin, you know what it is like.
Splin Cell(TTF): Yes...I wish...I could, see Jade...
Si Quan(Force Ghost): This is why love is forbidden.
Splin Cell(TTF): No. Passion is forbidden. There is a difference.
Si Quan(Force Ghost): It was a dangerous game you both played. And for it she...
Splin Cell(TTF): Don't even say it. I know what happened. I know...

There is a silence, an uneasy one...Then it is broken.

Splin Cell(TTF): Kyle dosen't trust me.
Si Quan(FG): Can you blame him? You killed his apprentice...
Splin Cell(TTF): No. I avenged Jade and the Jedi...That is why I won.
Si Quan(FG): He thinks you are wrong, misguided...Though I wouldn't worry about him to much.
Ana(FG): Don't hurt him Splin. He will see soon enough.
Splin Cell(TTF): If were lucky...

The ghosts dissappear and Splin is left alone, he opens his eyes...

Splin Cell: If only they knew the blood that is about to be shed.

Many days after he left, Master Drex's ship returns to the Temple on Coruscant. He enters the council chambers and finds master Lann sitting alone.

Master Drex: Master Lann, I...
Master Lann: Young Master Drex, something troubles you, does it?
Master Drex: Yes.
Master Lann: Hmm...the saber, is it?
Master Drex: Well yes, but there's more.
Master Lann: More you say?
Master Drex: It's Splin, the Jedi who slew Cain. I have suspicions that he may mean to take Atredious' saber.
Master Lann: A serious charge this is. What proof do you have?
Master Drex: No proof, just a feeling.
Master Lann: Careful you must be, Drex. To a dangerous place this line of thinking will take you. Perhaps, learn to be more trusting you should? Hmm?
Master Drex: Your right, maybe I was unfair before, I shall go to Naboo and meet him there.
Master Lann: Good, may the force be with you.

Master Drex enters his ship and heads for Naboo.

[Lord Nexus]

Splin sences somebody coming to Naboo, there close and powerful in the Force. Splin guesses it is Master Drex, he is almost sure. He walks out of his hut and starts twoard where he thought Drex would land, an open field. He sees the ship trying to land, he waits....

As Master Drex exits his ship he finds Splin waiting.

Splin: So, you've decided to stop being selfish?
Master Drex: I wouldn't say that. I have only come so that I may understand your true intentions. What interest do you have in this saber?

[Lord Nexus]

Splin stands where he is.

Splin Cell: That saber is only going to bring destruction. You have no idea what is coming. A threat like you've never seen before...The things of your nightmares...You still have nightmares don't you Kyle???

Splin slowly began to recall the past for Kyle, in all its grusome detail.

Splin Cell: The type of nightmares that you wake up from then you find your only hope sprawled out on the floor next to you, dead...Yes...You always think its just a dream, until it really happens...But I can't recall Kyle...Did you kill her? Or did she kill herself? I just can't remember.

Master Drex: What did you say?
Splin: You saw it didnt you? You saw her death before it happened.
Master Drex: How could you know that? The vision, it was only a sign of what could be, I didn't kill her...the clone. There was nothing I could've done.
Splin: No? You said it yourself, it was only a sign of what could be.
Master Drex: No! I did all I could! She has forgiven me for my failures...why are you telling me this? What does it have to do with my lightsaber?

[Lord Nexus]

Splin Cell: You killed her father didn't you? Why not finish the family off and kill her too? You've said it yourself before Kyle, your a cold blooded killer. Why did you let Ana die...and then not even avenge her...was Cain to much of a father to you? Or were you to afraid, afraid for yourself. You have failed Ana, Kyle...in every way...You know those nights, my mistake, every night. When you wake up from those nightmares, that keep replaying the past over and over. You keep on trying to save her, or destroy Cain. But you fail every time...Why do you think you keep having those after all these years? Because you know, deep down, you failed...

Master Drex: My only failure was not going to find the remains of Cain myself. I trusted Narok, perhaps that was a mistake. Now I am willing to trust you, don't make me regret that as well. My nightmares are not of Cain, nor Ana. It is the Dark Lord Atredious himself who haunts me, every word from his mouth is an attempt to persuade me to unleash his power. I have resisted him for 50 long years. Now you come and tell me I can no longer handle it? What makes you so sure?

[Lord Nexus]

Splin Cell: Whats going to happen Kyle when you die. That saber isn't going to go with you, it must remain here. Besides, each day your grow weaker...No disrespect, but its true. I can feel it, like an echo in the Force. You need to either destroy that saber or leave it in more capable hands...Like those of Master Lann...

Master Drex: Weaker? You feel yourself if that is what you think. I told you, time has no power over me, I will not fail unless it is in battle. Giving this saber to anyone else would be far more dangerous then simply destroying it. Only I can control the power within.

[Lord Nexus]

Splin Cell: Ha!

Splin moved for the first time.

Splin Cell: That sounds like Jedi arrogance to me. Such a common thing among your kind. Sith.
