OOC: Since I am horrendous at describing people, this is what Sasha looks like - She's just not as pale and has black hair tipped with blood red highlights on her bangs. As to Alex, look to my sig and avatar for a close approximation of his image. ---------- His expression changed little, his eyes glaring out over the tops of his darkened glasses at the werewolf before him. And though he did not move a muscle, he had every intention of hunting down that creature and taking pleasure in eviscerating it on the streets of this city. He tired so of preying on the weak and hapless, their attempts to defend themselves affording him little in the way of satisfaction. He watched as the frightened little girl approached the wolf, only to be placed on her back. She snarls and gives him one final warning before bounding off with ease over the roof tops. He tracks their movement for a moment. "Perhaps this evening would prove entertaining to him after all." He thought to himself. But even before he could begin his hunt, a voice called out from behind him. Its usually innocent and feminine tone laced with disappointment. "Alex! Leave them alone!" He growled slightly at the voice as his face twisted into a sneer and he turned to face her. "Sasha.... What errand has Lilith sent you on tonight?" "She sent me to keep an eye on you.... As we always have to." Sasha snapped back. Alex huffed indignantly at the remark. "That is so typical of you to ask "how high?" when she says "jump"." He said in disgust. "When will you ever realize the true potential of your abilities?" "When you cross the line." She firmly said, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes on Alex. "There are no lines, not in the world we live in." Alex replied, his tone somewhat condescending, before he got a mischievous smirk on his face. "But, just for the hell of it, let's see where you think those lines really are...." Sasha didn't even give him time to react before she exploded into action. Moving with incredible speed and accuracy, she closed in on Alex, delivering a quick jab to his throat with her hand that choked him of breath and left him gasping for air before she quickly followed up with her right leg, executing a low level sweep that swept Alex's legs out from under him and left him flat on the asphalt, dazed. He brought a hand to his throat and coughed as he fought for breath, finally regaining it in time for Sasha to plant her foot square on his chest, her steely cobalt eyes glaring down at him as a gentle breeze wafted by, catching a few locks of her black hair in its wake and drawing it across her face as she spoke. "You don't want to dance, boy." She said, a smug sense of self satisfaction in her words as she finally removed her boot from him and allowed Alex to stand again. Alex managed to make it to a knee, his lungs still in need of air as he massaged his neck and returned Sasha's stare. He had nothing to say, his expression suitably conveying his feelings towards her at the moment. He finally works up the nerve to stand and face her eye to eye. "Have we learned yet?" Sasha relentlessly taunted, rubbing the humiliation in as deeply as she could. Alex only answered with silence before finally managing a few groggy words. "There, was that so bad? Doesn't it feel good to use that power? Don't you feel the pleasure in it?" He asked, still arrogant as ever. "The only pleasure I take in it is using it to put smug little jerks like you in their place." Alex exhaled sharply through his nose at the comment. "Some day you'll understand how to use your gift. When you do, I'll be there to watch you give into it." He approached her, leaning in close to whisper in her ear, "You can't fight it forever. Nature always wins." He said, stepping back with a feint grin on his face before he scaled a nearby drainpipe on the apartment building and set off in the opposite direction of the wolf and the girl. Sasha tracked his movements for a bit, watching him vanish over a nearby roof top into the night before she herself moved off of the streets and into the shadows. Her mission remained unchanged, she was tasked with shadowing his every move.

Vald entered the dark dusty warehouse. It belonged to his mother however no one ever care to use it or do anything with it. He turned on the lights. At first it flickered for a moment but then the light became solid, Vald stood there by the door for a moment. It was a long night, Vald took his time to sit down. He thought over of what happened not to long ago.
"What a crazy night." He said to himself.
Then the urge came back to him. Its been a while since he drank blood. Its been at least five day, the longest he ever gone without blood. He cursed himself as he headed for the refrigerator. He opened it and got a bag, a pint of blood, he it gulped it down. He closed the refrigerator and tossed the the empty bag. He closely went down to the floor as he body was pressed against the refrigarator.
He hated himself at least half of him. He looked about the warehouse, as his urge for blood slowly went away. He sighed, thinking to himself. He seemed like he was waiting for something, something good to happen to him. His thoughts came back to why he was back here in the first place. To kill the noble family that disowned him. He brushed it off, he wasn't in the mood to be angry right now.
He sighed again "Next time I will go without blood for a week."

Amira got to the warehouse that the man told him of before though before she entered she needed clothes to put on her body when she transformed back. She was glad though she grabbed her coat before leaving the man because normally she didn't at least she had something. Letting the girl get off her back she Amira made sure the coat was on her back then began to transform. Then she turned her attention to the girl.
"I'm sorry I scared you child but it wasn't to scare you. It was to warn them but the one who pick you up I think I was to soon to judge him. He is in this warehouse and if you wish I can open the door over there and you can go in."
The girl looked to the door. There was saddness in her eyes that was had to ignore even if one tried too. Then her eyes moved from the door onto Amira. "Will you not go with me?"
A smile crosses Amira's face then as she lean down to the girls level. "I'll go with you yeah sure. What you think I was going to do? Leave you without truly checking on this guy. Please, I'm not that shallow." Amira stood back up straight and put out her hand to the girl to take. When the girl did they began to watch towards the door. She gently opened it and watched in as the girl followed. Walking through the halls she heard the man up ahead. Turning to the girl Amira motioned for the girl to wait as Amira walked ahead. Hearing his comment about blood she gently grin to herself then stepped into the kitchen into view. "You know pigs blood isn't bad and you can get it at the local meat market for a cheap price but going that long without blood isn't good for a growing boy such as yourself." Amira said still with the gently grin. Then she felt a little hand on her arm. The girl grabbed onto her arm just to be near not waiting to feel alone. Amira kept her attention on the man. "I'm sorry for before. I was to harsh to judge. The other I sensed was in the darkness and it was clouding my judgement of you. I'm sorry and hope you forgive me."

"No need, I am a vampire." He got up, not expecting they would come. Vald looked at the little girl and then back to the woman.
"There is a bed around the corner, you two can sleep there if you like. You know I didn't you would come." he said still standing there. Vald opened the refrigerator again and out a sandwich. He then got water bottle. He turned to the little girl as she came to him. He gave her the food as she began to eat it rapidly.

OOC: Btw, I forgot to post that Red Blood the sun never shines. Its always a dark place to be. On my forum though there are city's where the sun does shine but Red Blood City is the only place that doesn't.
Amira watched the girl as she leaned against the wall with her arms cross. As the girl sat at a small table in the middle of the room Amira talked to the man. "I know your a vampire and that's why I was so quick to judge. Almost to all vamps are evil like the other in the alley. He clouded my judgement from knowing if I sensed the darkness in you but as you began to leave I sensed good in you so I knew you're not bad."
Amira looked over at the girl. She was really eating the food down. If she wasn't so hungry she'd get sick but sense she hadn't had food in well who knows how long she was doing ok.
Then Amira turned her attention back to the man again. "By the way. The name is Amira Nuit and you are?"

OOC: Good to know, I'll keep that in mind but despite that I still think humans need to sleep. They can't be awake all the time.
Vald quietly listened to Amira about her quickness to judge. "I am Vald Dragons, half vampire and son of Vlad Drakul the XII. I am from the noble family of Drakul who as a firm control of this city. I lost the title of my name, Vlad Drakul the XIII because my father decided that it was disgrace to have a son who is only half vampire. He killed my mother who was a mortal and spared me from my my mother's cries. Now I'm a banished noble who thirsts for revenge."
Vald stood next to the woman as they both watched the little girl eat. Vald couldn't stop thinking that Amira was half vampire and half were-wolf. Her parents must have loved each other despite the great moral values created by both the vampires and were-wolves.
"How did you become what you are? asked Vald.

OOC: Oh people sleep in our rpes we do because they have to sleep. I agree. The little girl we rp will need to sleep and Amira does sleep when she needs it.
Amira kept her eyes on the girl for a moment before looking at Vald. "You me half vampire and half were-wolf?" She paused a moment looking off not really at anything the but at him. "The story I was told by my god farther that there was a war back in the day. A very horrible blood war between the were-wolf clan and the vampire gangs. My mother a beautiful vampire warroir fought and killed may as my father a very power albino were-wolf was head master and worrior of the wolf clan. Well they met face to face in heavy combat and something just clicked. Secertly they longed for love and for something impossible which came true. They ran off together while their people were still in war. My father's right hand man which was my god father took over and won the war against the vampires but learned of what happened and ran off to look for them. As they were in hiding but my god father never knew of where they had me but a evil force known as Lord Vandock was after me to destroy us. See no one not even myself knows how my mother carried me or even had me sense she was the vampire but I guess miracles happen if you like it or not." She said as she chuckled some.
"After the war lord found out about me my parents took off and ran meeting up with my god father. My father decided to through them off my mother's trail and asked my god father to take watch over us. So we ran leaving my father to die but once my mother heard his hollowing crying she handed me to my god father and this locket..." She said as she pulled out a gold heart locket from under her long leather coat to show him. "And told him to run with me as she stood alone and died herself to be with her love in heaven. So my god father just disappeared with me and raised me as his own teaching me and training me as you see me now." She looked to the girl as she was done and just sat there waiting for them to get done talking. "I think she's done now. You know we saved her and I dont even know what to call her. What a crazy world eh?" Amira said with a half smile at Vald and then walked over to the girl. "Hey girly. I'm Amira Nuit and you are?"
The girl gave a cute smile. "My name is Penny and I want to thank you for saving me," she said then looked to Vald, "And I want to thank you for the food. It was really good." Then she added. "Oh, and I didnt chance your name I dont think. What is it?"
Amira looked to him and just wanted for him to talk to Penny sense she was talking right at him. For a half vampire he seemed really sweet. Amira weakness always got her in trouble when it came to men being human even half human. She never fell for any other if they werent. Why she didnt know but she felt it was the love of her parents some how guiding her to something different just like they were. Maybe soon she would find the right one for her.

He went down on one knee and gently spoke to Penny "I'm Vald Dragons, I'm glad you enjoyed the food. You looked tired, why won't you go to sleep, and let your dreams guide you to a better place."
Penny nodded her head and headed for the bed. She wrapped herself in the blanket and slowly began to sleep. Vald turned to Amira "So what now? Is thare a place you know where we can take her away from this bloody city?" he asked her as he sat on a couch.

"What do you see in these people that interests you so?" Sasha asked, approaching Alex's left side as he peered out into the night towards the warehouse, his gazed transfixed through the fog, unflinching and cold as he crossed his arms over his chest.
He greeted her in silence, his patience for her incessant questions beginning to near its threshold of tolerance. She did not know when to quit while she was ahead, and that annoyed him to no end. He didn't mind the sport in the chase, that much he could deal with. She was a worthy opponent and always brought a sense of vitality to any situation that could easily crush the ennui of a still evening.
Her footsteps neared his side, her every step announced as the tiny gravel pellets on the roof of the building shifted beneath her feet.
"You are a capable hunter, but it isn't like you to hold this closely to someone." She added, stopping at his side and joining his stare into the fog that hung over the port district, its ghostly veil tinged a soft red by the sanguine moon. "Do you know them from your past?"
Alex let Sasha's words go unanswered for a moment. She couldn't readily understand the reasons behind his infatuation with these people, he barely understood them for himself. But the feelings, if that is what you could call them, were there, gnawing at him like an animal chewing at a bone. Relentless and persistent.
His eyes did not break from their target, still eagerly scanning the distance for any signs of those that he had traced here. "It's the girl.... And that woman." He remarked, his tone laconic.
"The girl?"
"She is.... Pure."
Sasha glanced at Alex, her face mirroring confusion. He couldn't possibly be right in his estimations. There was no such thing as a pure soul within the confines of this wretched city. He had to be wrong. "That can't be true."
"It is. Her scent is untainted by either the touch of vampire or wolf." Alex quickly replied, somewhat irritated that what he had said was received with skepticism. But, ultimately, he could not blame Sasha. After all, she knew as well as anyone that "purity" was just an idea here in this world. A quaint little idea that no longer served to hold a place in the hearts and minds of those who called the streets of this place home. "And that woman.... She is a half breed. But there is more to her."
Sasha looked away from him back towards the warehouse, her perceptions still unwilling to accept the possibility that somewhere inside that building was a pure soul. Its life untouched by the corrupting influences of the creatures that reside here in every shadow. It made no sense to her, especially given that he claimed that pure soul to be a little girl of merely ten. Yet, at the same time, part of her could believe it and was deeply attracted to it by a sense of curiosity and wonder. "How could a little girl make it this far in this place without being corrupted?"
"I don't know, but it is not natural. Somehow she managed to survive here as a mere mortal, and that half breed is content to coddle that weakness." Alex said, his face contorted into a sneer as he spoke.
Sasha peered at him from the corner of her eye. His typical mannerisms showing through without missing a beat, as usual. Still, her interest had been piqued by the possible existence of such a being. She scanned the vacant lots below them for a second as a gentle breeze came in from the sea and drifted by them, ushering a layer of clouds over the moon and stifling its light for a moment. "Wait here." She said.
Alex barely had time to react to what she said, instantly focusing his attention to his left and training his eyes on Sasha in time to see her silhouette leap from the building to an empty parking lot below as the moonlight slowly returned, illuminating the scenery. He watched her from his position on the roof as she gave him one last look before making her way towards the warehouse. A thin smile came to his lips as he tracker her movement for a time before she vanished inside the building through one of the open cargo bay doors on the side of the structure.

Amira watched Vlad take Penny into another room to rest but she didnt want to leave her alone for to long. Being a human many would love to get their hands on her and her blood. She looked to Vlad as he returned still leaning up against the wall with arms crossed. "I know of a place but it will be a long journey to get there. We will need help from a friend of a friend and well he has been gone a little two long." Amira pushed herself off the wall and put two fingers into her month letting out a strange and high pitch whisle.
As he flew over he looked down to see a man standing on a roof across from where his master was calling him from although he did not do anything that let the man think any different of him he flew into the warehouse following Amira's sound to get to her. Seeing another in the warehouse and getting close he saw it to be a woman. Flying over her head hissing at her as he flew on by he made a few turns flying up a few flits of stairs to where Amira was standing. Flying into the room he landed on her shoulder cherping at her about what he had saw. She petted him under his beak then looked to Vlad.
"This is my pet crow Buddy. He is a very specail crow and I will tell you all about that a little later but right now we need to keep an eye over the girl because what he tells me we will be having company very soon. So, help needs to quick." She looked to Buddy walking over to a window at the back of the warehouse so she couldnt be seen. She opened the window letting him fly to get help. Then she turned back to Vlad. "Lets go into the other room where Penny is to watch over her till he getting here. I dont want anything to happen to her."
Amira knew of who it was. She could sense him. It was that damn vampire before in the alley way. She hated vampires because they never did what they were told to do.
She walked into the other room as she knew Vlad would follow right behind her. He was a good man she sensed although he was lost because he was half crused and to be forced being broken into a creature of the nights. He didnt desrve this shit. No good people does.
Amira hated creatures who thought they could do whatever they damn well pleased. Human's are people to and should be treated as such or she should say they must be treated the same and those that didnt well it would be in their best interst to do so.
Looking down at Penny she looked so sweet and peaceful at rest she remembered the many before her she saved and helped get back out of this place and back to the human world. It wasnt easy and those that fell in would be doomed unless someone like her helped them get back. She looked to Vlad. "I wans to protect her at all cost possible. Are you willing to do the same because if not then now is the time to leave?"
....................................................
He was meditating on top of his apartment building. Legs crossed and eyes closes listening to the sounds of the city around him. A light breeze crossed his face as he heard the sound of flapping headed his way. He kept his eyes closed when Buddy flew onto his shoulder. Buddy cherped into his ear and then flying off his shoulder he began to fly back in the dircetion of the werehouse knowing he would follow. The man stood to his feet and transformed into his werewolf form taking off after the bird to Amira's aid.

Vlad kept thinking of Buddy as he entered the room with Amira. He used to have a pet like that, a mongoose. It was clever little animal, now he thought about he didn't remember what happened to it, it didn't matter now. "I'm in but...there are some things I need to take care of. But I'll do them later, it can wait."

Amira looked to Vlad. She was a little unsure what to say at his comment. He was in but he had something very important at the moment to do but it could wait. She wondered what that was but knew he had his own life before this too. He offered this safe place to them and now he felt like leaving even though he was in. The mind does get a little carried away sometime when one thinks over everything. Racing thinking what to do next then it jumps but what if that might happen and is their away to stop it from coming true. Yes there is a way. There is always a way.
She looked to the sleeping child. Their was a little glow in Amira's eye. She loved humans. The thought of them, how they acted, how crazied or relax they can be. Most creatures werent like that around here. She never met one that their emotions ran like humans do and she found it she was drawn to it. To steady them up close by helping and protecting them then sending them on their way out of this city. Although something still troubled Amira. She has seen humans near the gate way protal from normal earth where only humans are and to this world. No creature not even half human was aloud through the portal only full blooded humans. The thing that troubled Amira was how had she got this far in without someone detecting her. It was weird but it made her smile that someone was looking out for this one.
Amira looked to Vlad again. "I sense my friend is on his way. My pet is showing him the way. He is full blood werewolf and if we are dealing with a vampire we will shirly need him." Amira sensed the woman in the building and stayed away from all windows making sure the one outside didnt see them. All window where board shut put they still had little holes to see throw and being a creature you knew they had good eye sight. Amira stood beside the bed looking from Penny to every part of the room listening to any outside the room that was unwelcomed. If they would appeared she would take care of them to make sure Penny would be safe.
...........
The man still following the bird saw the bird land on top of a phone pole looking from him to a warehouse back to him then Buddy looked across the roof tops to a figure un-noticeable if you werent looking for him. Hawk stand real low so he wasnt seen by the man. Buddy let Hawk know all before appearing here so he knew that man was a vampire and if Amira had a human child he was looking for a joicy snack. Hawk just like what Amira was doing couldnt allow that to happen. So, Hawk told Buddy to fly into the building letting him tell Amira he had arrived and is watching the vampire making sure if he made a move of any kind Hawk was inside and at her side. So, Buddy flew off making sure the man just noticed him and not Hawk he flew around a little to far away from Hawk unable to be seen then Buddy flew inside the building letting her know all of what Hawk told him to say and knowing he had her back in a heart beat.

The crow came back as Vlad folded his arms and closed his eyes. "Where is your friend, Doesn't feel like coming does he?" Vlad said. The crow seemed to look at Vlad, he stared back at the crow. "So Amira, how long we have to wait."

The interior of the warehouse was dim and poorly lit, affording little in the way of natural light to penetrate from the outside. It was a dusty, run down place, the air inside the walls thick with the scent of mold and old chemicals that had seeped into every crevasse in the floors and walls, its interior having been allowed to decompose from years of neglect and misuse. A thick layer of dust seemed to coat everything and old newspapers littered the floor along side several broken pallets and half corroded steel barrels. The place looked as if though it had been condemned years ago, boards nailed over several of the broken windows, while bare wires hung in gangling clumps from places on the ceiling where lights had once been installed.
It was a dilapidated and aesthetically unpleasant structure to be in. The perfect place for one who does not wish to make their existence blatantly obvious to outsiders.
Sasha scanned her surroundings, the poor lighting doing little to stifle her sense of sight as she looked across the barren floor of the warehouse, slivers of moonlight penetrating the darkness though small spaces between the boards on the windows and resting upon the opposite wall. To her perceptions, nothing seemed to be alive in here. The only hints of life were the rats that scurried about the floor and through the walls in search of food. Perhaps Alex had been wrong. Maybe his instincts had led him astray for once. He was an able hunter, but his arrogance was often his greatest enemy.
It was all for the best, though. Whatever his fascination with these people was, it would only encourage him towards more unsavory acts in the future if he was able to enact his plans for these souls.
All was quiet as Sasha focused her attention ever deeper into the blackness, the only audible sounds were those of the wind as it howled against the building. Suddenly, an ear-piercing noise emanated from somewhere on the upper floor, drawing her attention towards a nearby staircase as a sharp whistle echoed through the desolate space.
"Well.... You are here." She thought before making her way to the stairs. Placing a calm hand on the edge of the railing, she craned her head upwards and listened intently, hoping for more sounds to guide her more precisely on her path. As she waited, the fluttering of wings caught her attention as a large black crow came flying into the building, passing over her head and squawking at her as it flew onwards, up the stair case. Sasha gave the bird a short, annoyed hiss in response as it vanished up the stairs before she returned to her vigil.
Soon, the sound of muffled voices crept down to her, their conversation inaudible, but ultimately proving the existence of others inside the otherwise vacant building.
Acting quickly, she began her ascent, moving as quietly as possible in the hopes of making a stealthy approach.
--------
From his position atop the adjacent building, Alex watched the situation unfold as best he could, his vision of the events obscured by the boards over the windows. He could only surmise as to what was going on inside the aged walls of the warehouse, but things must be going well thus far as there had been no yelling or sounds of conflict yet.
He watched on, his arms folded over his chest, as a crow flew into the building. Giving little thought to the bird, as it was common for entire flocks of them to make homes in abandoned buildings like this, Alex returned to his watch, waiting patiently for Sasha's return.
--------
Inside the building, Sasha made her way up the final flight of stairs, coming to the top and entering into a large second floor office. The voices were clearer now, guiding her more directly to their place of origin in a small room off to the right of the stairs. Moving with great care and consideration for her every step, she made her way to the doorway of the room, taking her time to pick her path through a menagerie of scattered news papers and empty boxes that had been carelessly discarded.
Making sure to keep out of sight as best she could, she stayed to the right of the door as she approached it. From here, she could overhear their conversation with great clarity, the voice of a man speaking first.
"I'm in but...there are some things I need to take care of. But I'll do them later, it can wait."
There was a brief lull before a woman's voice answered him.
"I sense my friend is on his way. My pet is showing him the way. He is full blood werewolf and if we are dealing with a vampire we will shirly need him."
Cautiously leaning towards the opening, Sasha glanced inside to see the pair speaking, the large black crow that had pestered her earlier was perched on the woman's shoulder. But there was no sign of the girl of which Alex had spoken. Either she was out of sight, or they had moved her somewhere safe in the interim while he tracked them. And given Alex's skill at tracking, the former seemed the more likely of the two scenarios.
As she became ever more engrossed with their conversation, Sasha moved a bit closer, maintaining her composure. Suddenly, the bird flew from its place on the woman's shoulder and out the door, forcing Sasha to move in haste to avoid being pecked or clawed by it in the process. Her sudden, and careless movement forced her to accidentally disturb a nearby chair, backing into it and dragging its legs across the wooden floor.
As the screeching sound resounded through the second floor, Sasha knew her presence had been revealed. "Shit.."
It was only a matter of time now before they would find her.

Vlad and Amira both heard the noise. Vlad quickly put his finger in front of his mouth, signaling to Amira to stay quiet. He went for the door slowly. He pulled out a knife that was secretly hidden in his sleeves. He opened the door and tossed it at a woman who was fast in reponse, the knife passed her leaving a small cut in her right arm, leaving a tear in her shirt. Vlad pulled out another knife underneath his right hand and hid it behind him, ready to throw it at the woman. He knew she was looking for something but for what he did not know.
"What are you here?" He asked, as he did he caught her scent, she was a vampire. He noticed that her cut was slowly bleeding but it wasn't bad, now if she was going to run away, it would be easy to track by the scent of her blood.
