Ok, that gives me a number of questions: Can Jedi forging be applied to technological objects such as ships or light sabers? How powerful must one be in order to use Jedi Forging? Has it died out or can jedi npcs still use that skill if you specify that they have the knowledge to do it? To your first question... The Jedi Forge requires a lot of time and energy to strengthen just a simple blade. It would be impossible to apply it to much larger Items. So no ships, but armors and weapons can be strengthen it. To your second question... The Jedi Forge is a skill that must be practiced just like anything else. The more you train with it the better you get. I would say however any force user that has learned the basics of the Force (e.i. can manipulate the Force) could perform a Jedi Forge. To your last question... It is a somewhat lost technique... On this site the only character which even still uses it is Kitana and she has created a holocron documenting it. This is currently in her possessing but should be going to the Army of the Light should Elisa not get killed. Finally while it is a lost art, an NPC may be able to do it but there are a few things you need to realize... There are like no Jedi left. They have been nearly wipped out by the sith. Also you would need to make sure it is okay with Cain, I am not sure if a technique like this could be taught by an NPC.
