At the edge of the Centauri System a huge ship dropped out of hyperspace. It was an ancient and deserted vessel that had once proudly carried it's inhabitants across the stars but now it was failing. The ships advanced self repairing technology and redundant systems were finally breaking down and could no longer maintain.
It's power core, what was essentially a black hole contained within a containment field had started to fail which was caused the ship to drop out of hyperspace. Atmosphere leaked out of the ship in several compartments and the damaged power core was throwing high energy gravitons out into space. These high energy gravitons caused a warp in local space-time which made what was in effect, a giant artificial gravity well.
The warp in local space-time also made sensor readings in the system inaccurate and precise navigational data could no longer be obtained. As the ship neared the center of the system, it was clear this gravitational disturbance would soon effect even ground based systems on the planet of Centauri Prime.
All ships in the system were grounded until the disturbance either cleared itself up or something could be done about the ship. Distress signals were sent out to Ilium for help as well as to Jor Halcyon, leader of the new Jedi but even hypercom transmissions would be unreliable for the time being.

The Hyperion exited hyperspace way off coarse. The space warping had caused the ship to enter the system on it's far side suddenly and without warning. The ship's inertial compensator malfunctioned slightly and everyone on the ship lurched forward as they decelerated slower then the ship did.
Jor walked onto the bridge and approached captain Onasi. "Whats the status captain?"
The captain was busy looking at the sensor readings. "I have no idea. The ship seems to be fine but getting any kind of information about our location or of the system in general seems to be shifting."
Jor glanced at the data too. Indeed, the distance measurement to Centauri Prime read 400,000 kilometers at one moment and then would drop to 50,000 the next. Something strange was happening here. He pointed to the radiation readouts, noticing a high level of neutrino radiation. "What about that?"
The sensor officer looked at the information for a moment. "Perhapse he can use the Neutrino's to trace this disturbance to it's source."
Six walked over with his datapad. "I'm actually quite sure we can. All our sensors are giving indications that the space-time field in this system is being messed with. I have't seen anything like this before but if we put the ship on a heading for the source of those particles we should at least get somewhere."
Jor sighed and nodded. "Very well. Captain, make it so. Don't launch any fighters yet, i don't want to lose a any pilots in this mess."
The Captain nodded and began issuing orders to the bridge crew. Jor walked over to Six. "What do you think?"
Six glanced down at his datapad again and shook his head. "I don't know, but it's either a natural phenomena of this system that hasn't been previously recorded, or it's artificial. However, if it's artificial, that suggests some very, very, very advanced technology."
Jor took the information with a pout of his lips as he thought about the possibilities. "Ok, keep me appraised. If it comes to it, i want you and Rita on the away team that investigates whatever this thing is."
Six clasped his datapad to his chest and gave a thumbs up. "Roger, i'll go find Rita and let her know."
Rita's voice came over the intercom on the bridge. "No need."
Six looked up and squinted his eyes. "I kinda hate that she can do that."
Jor smiled and walked off the bridge.

Drake followed Jor to the bridge of the Hyperion he looked around between everyone as they spoke about what was going on. He couldn't understand most of it as it seemed to be some scientific mumbo jumbo they were throwing around. He did gather one thing from the entire exchange though, whatever the hell was happening out there was dangerous, that and Jor maybe a nerd under all that armor. Well that was two things in anycase, he turned back to the conversation and cleared his mind on everything.
Drake turned to Jor when he walked out following "Hmm strange particles that maybe artifical" he said to himself "You know, what if it is artifical...this could be the start of sometype of invasion" Drake said.

Tycen, Deep in meditation something he had begun to do a lot of with out much clearance on what exactly he was trying to figure out, Was rocked out of it as the whole ship came to a much to fast stop, Like somebody just hitting the brakes of a speeder while flying at faster then the traffic sign suggest, He rose and exited the room he was using during the mission to find out what had happened.
Tycen was just approaching the doorway the lead into the bridge when Jor, And drake came out from it. "What's going on?" he asked Jor, Something stank about this mission and Tycen could already pick up on it.

"it could be some kind of attack, thats true." Jor said to drake as they walked off the bridge. "But we can't call for help until we get clear of this mess and without navigation we don't know if we're going towards or away. I'm hoping if we find the source we can shut it off and get coms back up."
When Tycen walked up and asked what was going on Jor shook his head. "I don't know yet. The ships dropped out of hyperspace into some kind of intense gravity well thats effecting all of our sensors. We're pretty blind and can't even get a stable lock on the planets in the system."

Kyo stayed back in the Hyperion's hanger for a while, attempting to use the force to sense any disturbances that might have been responsible for the problems here. Kyo tried to reach out but there was something strange blocking his vision, similar to what he had felt with Jor back on the Saucy Mare. Answers to this problem obviously would not be coming easy.
Kyo eventually joined the others up on the bridge. He didn't say anything, instead just waiting patiently for Jor to come up with a plan of action.

The Hyperion advanced through space at its best sublight speed that the captain thought prudent being as blind as they were. It wasn't long until they started to catch a glimpse of the ship that had been causing the problem. Their initial sensor ping showed it as 40 kilometers in length but their second showed it as 45 meters in lengths. Six was working furiously on recalibrating the sensors to get through the disturbance and met with limited success.
Lieutenant Ven got them as close to the ship as she should with their limited sensor capabilities, doing most of the piloting on manual and using only what she could see through the front viewport to guide her.
"Sir, i've got us as close as i dare with my proximity sensors out of whack." Ven said from her station. "She's well within weapons range."
Commander Takei stood behind her and put a hand on her shoulder. "Keep her steady Lieutenant. Station keeping if you please."
The Lieutenant nodded. "Station keeping Aye sir."
The Commander walked away from her and back across the raised platform to the Captain. "Skipper, we've reached the neutrino radiation source. Looks like a ship of unknown origin. nothing like it in the database. What do you want to do?"
The captain turned to his First Officer and rubbed his forehead. "Not a damn thing. This is the Jedi's show, they can figure out what to do next. See if you can lock us a tractor beam on it to help with the station keeping and move the ship to condition yellow."
Takei snapped off a salute and set about conducting the captains orders. Captain Onasi moved over to the ships intercom and grabbed the handset. "Now Master Halcyon and company to the bridge. Master Halcton and company to the bridge."
Dustil put the handset back and started looking at the sensor reports on the mysterious ship. _____________________________________________
Jor heard the pipe and shrugged. "That means us fellas. Lets go back to the bridge."

Drake smirked some "I like the idea of a good invasion, been a while since we've had one of those on this site" he laughed to himself as he turned around once the announcment was made. "Great sounds like we'll be getting right into the thick of shit" he said as he turned to follow Jor back up to the bridge.

Tycen looked at Drake with surprise and a little fear, First "New york" Now he's talking about the galaxy as some kind of "Site" like a holosite Tycen assumed. The different levels of madness were fascinating, One could be completely lost in maddening thoughts and be consumed by them, And then one could be like Drake, Apparently on the edge, It seemed as if he has been implying that all this was some kind of text based game on the holonet, And he is able to oversee multiple things about it at once; No that's madness in itself, Tycen would keep that theory to himself.
Tycen realized he was falling behind the others and raced forward to catch up, To the bridge they go.

Jor and his posse walked onto the bridge where Captain Onasi waited for them. "Master Halcyon. We've come across what we're assuming is the center of the disturbance."
Jor nodded. "What is it?"
The captain led them over to the holotable where an image of the ship appeared. It was a long, thin ship with a bulbous bow connected to a octigonal rear section by a cylinder section thirty meters in diameter and almost 3 miles long. At the center of the cylinder portion there were two rotating arms that held what looked to be solar pannels. The two arms and pannels spun slowly around the cylinder portion. If the sensor readings were even close to accurate, the vessel was huge.
"It's a ship of some kind. Unknown origin. So far no life signs aboard and no answer to our hails. We're running it's patterns through our database now. maybe we can get lucky and match its architecture to a specific style in use by a specific shipyard." The Captain said.
Six pointed at the hologram. "I know where it comes from."
The Captain, his First officer and Jor spun to look at Six. The scientist shrugged. "It's Celestial in origin. I've seen similar markings on and design features during a study i did on Centerpoint Station."
Jor pointed at the hologram with his thumb. "So whats this thing doing here?"
Six shrugged again. "I dunno. I didn't fly it here, i just know who built it."
Jor slumped his shoulders and looked back at the hologram. The Captain sat down in his chair. "You did make clear to me when i took my job that exploration of the unknown would be a big part of it."
Jor waved him off. "yeah i know, i know. i just didn't think we'd be doing it just days after you got the job. Well, looks like we're going to need to split into teams to search this mother."
Jor pointed over towards Six. "Me Drake and Rita will try and find this things engineering section. if we can cut power to the damn thing maybe we can shut off this disturbance. Kid, you take Two Face and Six and try and find a bridge or control room. Try and figure out where this thing's been and why it's here."
The Captain stood up again and shut the hologram off. "I'll have two dragoons standing by for you in the Hanger."

Drake walked in the bridge and crossed his arms watching as Jor and talked to the others about the ship. It seemed weird especially when they said it was Celestial in origin. He just kept quiet for most of the talking since the technical stuff wasn't his fortee point him at something that needed busting up and he could do that, talking about the complexities of a ship wasn't him. He waited till they were done and looked at Jor when he said they would split up into teams "Finally some action" Drake said as he pulled out his saber and spun the hilt between his fingers "Lets get moving then" he said as he started off the bridge.

Tycen stared at the holo now being shown, The ship's huge size could be felt even through a holo, At least Tycen thought it could. As Jor moved to what the teams that would be on the expedition of the ship, Tycen wondered if even two times were enough to explore the behemoth. Then again, They only needed to find the key systems, So no worries, Least not in that department. Then a terrible thought crossed his mind. What if its infested with some form of...Zombie-monsters? And the only way to kill them was to shoot the limbs off? He sat on the thought for only a moment before deciding it'd never happen.
Seeing how nothing needed saying, Not from him anyway, He remained back and waited for the dragoons, As the rest were.

Kyo had followed with the others up onto the bridge. The sight of the mysterious ship in the hologram sent a chill down his back. Kyo had never heard of the "Celestials", but he figured they must have been quite something to construct such a massive vessel. He knew something was not right here, but Kyo's curiosity would get the better of him in this situation. He was eager to go and investigate.
After Jor gave his orders Kyo gave a short bow and turned to face Tycen and Six, "Alright, you heard the man. Let's move out," Kyo said leading the way down to the hanger where the Dragoons awaited.

Jor appreciated Kyo's enthusiasm and walked off the bridge. The walk down to the Hanger was a long one and by the time they got there, two Dragoons were prepped and ready on the flight deck with their engines spinning up.
Danny one climbed out of one and walked over to Jor. "Master, i have a 4 man Marine team on both birds. I'm leading the team on the alpha bird."
Jor nodded. The act of putting a marine team on the dragoons was an act of initiative, something a lot of military members lacked. He also felt it was unnecessary but he wasn't about to punish a bad thing. "Ok, thank you Petty Officer One. Tell your teams they'll be staying with the dragoons for the most part and keeping them secure."
Danny looked a little upset at the order. He was hoping to stretch his legs a little but he didn't object. He fought the urge to salute and went off to tell his men. Jor climbed into one of the shuttles and sat down on one of the cramped seats where he buckled himself in.
Rita climbed in next and sat next to him. She placed her Z-6 rotary blaster cannon in an overhead rack and similarly strapped herself in. Jor nodded to the pilot who started to prep for takeoff. as soon as Drake was on board they'd get underway and check out this mysterious ship.

Drake followed everyone to the hanger they all seemed rather enthused about jumping head on into danger yet again. That seemed to be a constant when it came to hanging out with Jor and them Drake thought as he walked over to the shuttle. He smirked some wondering why he was complaining to himself when he obviously lliked danger. Drake climbed in and sat down next to Rita as he started to buckle himself in before leaning his head back some. "So, what are expecting to find on this ship?" he asked "Sith, Angry Mandalorians...Vampiric Ewoks?" Drake joked with them.
