ooc: just to speed it up, i'm posting the mooney ds and hades being on the laat.
bic: Elifains Longsword Gunship dropped out of hyperspace, above Nar Shaddaa, and series of beeps rang off in the cock-pit.
Elifain, deap in meditation, blinked a few times, before standing up, and moving to the control concel.
He did a quick scan of the system, for the Homeworld class ship, Mjolnir, with no results. Within a moment, however, the ship dropped out of hyperspace, and released a LAAT, which had Roland, Kailani, Devon, and Rusade onboard, before jumping away again.
The LAAT moved toward the surface of Nar Shaddaa on a quick course for one of the cities many landing pads.
Elifain moved his ship to follow the LAAT towards the planet, while sending a signal, to show that he was there.
The LAAT and the Longsword landed in the city, near eachother, and Elifain quickly moved to meet up with the others.
Took you long enough, vode.
I have been here waiting for you guys. Elifain looked between the four of them and said, Our mission is to hunt down zilfer of shadows, and take him back to mandalore. You three spread out, and keep an eye out for him. Roland and I will follow behind, and keep an eye out on you. Think of this as field tests, and if you make it, initiation. He finished, while watching those before him.

Devon looked around. "Who is Zilfer of Shadows?" she asked. "And why do we have to bring him to Mandalore?" She looked at Elifain and Roland for answers.

Rusade listened carefully to Elifain. His task was to hunt a man called Zilfer of Shadows. Devon then spoker conerning their prey. "What does it matter why we need to bring it to the Mandalore. Rusade said to Devon. "A shadow like you Elifain, hunting one of your own?" Rusade asked expressing his own concerns. Elifain once told him that was a shadow that used the ways of the Kumori and once again to Devon before getting on the LAAT.

"Zilfer oh' Shadows huh? I remember him, back when he was Lord Nanashi, he and the Big Guy upstairs were always doin' something freakin' with their voodoo shit." Kailani said thoughtfully, holding the blaster rifle protectively. He certainly wasn't someone she felt like running into in a dark alley, on Nar Shaddaa. This mission screamed bad news.
"With my experience with this guy, I don't think we ought to be tryin' to take him down one on one, taking him down as group might be the most effective way... Just a thought." The woman said, biting down on her lower lip anxiously.

Roland remained quiet, letting Elifain take the lead on his mission, as Elifain listened to each comment on their own.
He turned to Devon, and said, We do this because mandalore ordered us to. That is the only reason we need. As for who he is, he was an old imperial commander.
He then turned his attention to Rusade, and sighed, To be a shadow is to be alone. I'm sure, if he were in my position, he would do the same.
He looked to Kailani last, and after a moment, said, We will ask him to come with us first. If he refuses, we will take him by force. Keep in contact, and you should be fine.

Devon looked at Rusade and said, "Well he asked if we have any questions." Then she turned her attention to Elifain as he spoke and she nodded her head. "I'll be back I gotta go get something from a nearby store."
She ran off to a local store that sole ylasamirs and she asked, "How much are these things?"
"10 creds," the lady said.
"I'll take two," she said as she paid the lady and put both the ylasamirs in her backpack and she went back to join the others.
"I'm back," she said.
Two fuzzy little lizards poked its head out of her bag and she noticed it poked its head out and she said, "Get your furry ass back in the bag." She pushed its head back in her backpack. "Let's get a move on," she said.

Yuki smiled at Zilfer then saw as a headless droid came crashing through her sand wall. Zilfer killed the droid with lightning and then destroyed her wall and all the sand went back into the crack in the earth where it came from. Yuki pouted for a bit, stupid droid ruining first sand veil in a very long time. She noticed the droid and got ready for attack, she didn't care how big he was but when Zilfer put away his lightsaber and followed the droid to see this "Goto" guy she gave up her stance and followed behind Zilfer. She looked back at Kylian and sighed.
"Power is not all that it's cracked up to be kid. Besides I couldn't teach you Diamond Saw even if I tried."
Yuki remembered how this element was made for her and her for it. She also remembered how the lust for power overwhelmed her and her fellow elders, and now they are all dead. If it weren't for Yukiro she would be dead too. In some ways this made Yuki upset but in other ways she was glad Yukiro made her survive... otherwise she would not have met Zilfer. But what was Yukiro's plan? Yuki returned her mind to the task at hand. Was this Goto guy the one who put the bounty on Zilfer's head, is that why the droid said everyone would die except Zilfer? Or is it just coincidence? Yuki didn't like any of this, all these people wanting Zilfer, wanting to use him to be trained by him, to kill him. Why? Is it because he is powerful? She shook her head, sadly she knew it was because he was powerful. In his time being Lord Nanashi Zilfer had gotten so powerful that he can no longer have any hope of privacy like he once wished or any type of normal life. She felt sorry for Zilfer. In the time she had been missing and didn't know who she was, Yuki Uramachi had been forgotten. Everyone presumed her dead. It made it easy to be left alone, but Zilfer stepped out into the limelight with Cain and came back a celebrity.
"Great, just had to piss off the droids didn't you Ky?"
Yuki said jokingly. She smiled afterward to prove it.

Rusade turned to Elifain "Alright then let's do this." Rusade absorbed Elifain's comment on the Shadow. Being alone never seemed that bad for him.

Fully realizing that his emotions were out of control, Kyllian swept a wave of soothing energy throughout his whole body, succeeding in cooling his mind as well. Taking deep breaths to further calm himself, Kyllian looked back up at Yuki and said, "Sorry for my rash actions a moment ago. Sometimes in the heat of battle, I lose control of my body and my body tends to go through a series of extreme emotions. I WILL learn to control myself. It's just that since I haven't really had any sentient interaction for centuries, the lack of social interaction starts to rust away your thoughts." As he said this, Kyllian's thoughts went back for than just a few centuries to the Great Hyperspace War... --------------------------------------------------------------------------- "RUN! THERE'S NO STOPPING IT!"
Kyllian's mind was shot back into his past memories to a time where all sound, sight and thought was in chaos. Alarms blaring inside a small ship, Kyllian was disoriented since his mind was taking a moment to boot back up. Looking around, Kyllian saw a huge warp speed generator that was shining a bright red as if it held back a red dwarf sun. Shock waves from outside the ship were reverberating upon its hull, sending sound blasts every which direction and making anything said, almost impossible to hear. "WE MUST LEAVE NOW! KYLLIAN! KYLLLIIIIAN!" Not recognizing that voice, Kyllian turned away to see a republic general in tattered garb. "Who are you and what is going on?" Kyllian spoke.
"YOU MORON! STOP PULLING THIS BULL SHIT! YOU KNOW BLOODY GOD DAMN WELL WHO I AM! NOW, GET ON THIS POD OR THERE WON'T BE ANYONE LEFT TO SAVE THE KOROS!" Finally, taking a moment to understand who this man was and what was going on, memories shot into Kyllian's thoughts of Gav Daragon and the Battle of Primus Goluud. Realizing his mistake, Kyllian let his mind sweep through the ship in order to sense where the escape pods were. Feeling a large egg shaped object on the opposite side of the ship, Kyllian grabbed Daragon by the waste and through force enhancement, launched himself through the hallways that led to the pod.
Daragon, through short bursts of breath, gasped, "Kyllian, listen to me. This place will blow any second and we need you alive. My sister already got out but you are still here. You and I both know that that generator will explode in less time than we will take to escape. Leave me here, I still have one last mission."
Gazing down at the only friend he had for what seemed centuries, Kyllian was in turmoil. But it only lasted a few seconds for he knew that he must escape for he was needed elsewhere in other parts of the universe. Slowing down to a halt, Kyllian stood Daragon back up and with only a look of grief and sorrow, left the one person who had kept him sane through the chaos of the past.
Force enhancing himself even further, Kyllian sprinted down hallways, through open doors and finely got to the pod chamber. Vaulting inside, Kyllian grabbed the door and let his momentum swing his body down and close the pod. His arm then reached out for the biggest red button he had ever seen and pounded it down as hard as he could.
The button smashed to pieces but still, the pod was activated. Shooting off into space away from Gav Daragon, Kyllian never looked back, even when the explosive shock waves rocked his own vessel. The only thing he could do till Jori Daragon and her men came to rescue him.....was cry.......------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ His mind booting back to the present, Kyllian looked around confused once more but realized that it was only a hallucination. Though, when he thought back to what he remembered, one thing kept nagging at his mind till he let exposed himself to it. Let go of your feelings and seize the day, for only then will you find peace....Once again, Kyllian let a soothing wave of energy wash over his body, healing any scraps or wounds that he might have gained from the droids. Then, with a gaze as fiery as the core of Mustafor, Kyllian looked upon Zilfer and said, "I am ready when you are." |

Elifain nodded, seeing no further questions, and said, Kailani, you go through the market area. Zuko, check the canteena's. Devon, head to the landing zones. Ask questions, find any information you can get on Zilfer of shadows, and his possible wearabouts. Roland, You keep an eye on these 3, maybe not all at the same time. I'll do the same. If you find info that is important, use your comunicators. He quietly clenched his fist, as he set his jetpack to jump, and flew off into the city, as Roland sat by, amused, as he waited for everyone to move.

Zilfer and his group entered a building on the ground floor of Nar Shaddaa as the droid lead the way, Unaware of the group trying to find him thousands of feet above him, amongst the chaos of Nar Shaddaa's crazy traffic and people. As they came in, the place held many more floating globes along the sides of the wall. They proceeded down the hallway as nothing made a move for them, and as they finally entered a round room, that held a holographic display of two planets. A droid floated nearby projecting the image of an elderly man who stood erect and turned once Zilfer and the others entered the room.
"Good, I thought the bounty might get your attention. I wasn't sure, but it seemed my predictions were correct." said the man who Zilfer took as Goto. The bounty hunters were the first ones to speak.
"And what about our bounty?" asked the men as they prepared for a fight, they half expected to be double crossed however the man turned to them calmly. "The credit's will be transferred now, check now and they should be arriving."
The bounty hunter pulled out a datapad connecting to the holonet and apparently pleased with what he saw motioned for his men to leave, and then to he nodded to Zilfer. "Good luck."
"So what is it that you want with me..." said Zilfer wanting to get to the point, and not beat around the bush. Goto's hologram walked around for a bit and then turned back to Zilfer.
"Do you recognize these two planets?" asked Goto, and Zilfer turned his attention finally to the planets and recognized them by the state they where in right away. Corellia and Myrkr, both planets he was responsible for. A twang of guilt stung him for a moment but he answered Goto. "It's Myrkr, and Corellia."
Goto looked back to the planets for a moment as if checking to see if they where, as if they were unrecognizable before looking back to Zilfer. "I see you've not forgotten then, you destroyed them after all. One directly and the other indirectly." said Goto letting his statement sink in.
"So what of them." said Zilfer wondering what the holographic man was playing at. What was his stake in all of this. Suddenly the planets disappeared and holographic images of a masked man with a skull upon his face... the mask of Nihilus.
"Lord Nanashi, who is Zilfer of Shadows has destroyed and disrupted much of this galaxy. The jedi have been crippled yet again. Last time it was this bad was just after the Mandalorian wars, during the Jedi Civil War. I have run calculations of what it would take to end this war, and you are one of the pieces that must be taken off the chess board." said Goto as the images flickered between Lord Nanashi killing Jedi, and then fell dormant as all the holographic images faded save for goto.
"So you want to kill me then...." said Zilfer how knew that accusations were true, and that he had screwed things in the galaxy up more then he would have thought possible. Goto laughed for a moment, before going on to explaining more.
"You are an anomaly. I seek to stabilize the galactic economy. War creates and destroys rapidly and is hard to control, I want to avoid it however it seems the Sith and Jedi are at it again with their quarrels, so I need this war to end quickly. I do not care which side wins." said Goto as his hologram floated towards Zilfer and his group. "As I said before you are an anomaly and cannot allow you to act, your past has shown you to be unpredictable and erratic. I am withholding you from the galaxy so you no longer do any harm to it. The other option is killing you, however I try and limit the amount of casualties."
Zilfer began to feel the weight of his actions, he was silent for now thinking over his response. Perhaps it would be better if Zilfer of Shadows disappeared from the pages of history.... It was impossible to tell. He knew his companions would have a few things to say, however for now he retreated back into himself analyzing himself and his actions. He wasn't sure what he was anymore, did he want to be a Kumori, Jedi, or a Sith? Was he any of these three things?

Devon moved and headed to the landing zones. She saw some people walking around. She walked over to a man and asked, "Have you heard about a bounty being rewarded for one called Zilfer of Shadows?"
The man thought for a moment and said, "Yeah a guy name Goto has a bounty on his head. Not sure what for, but I hear it's big."
"Really?" she asked. "And has anyone seen him around or spotted him for that matter?"
Another man walked over and said, "Some say he's been spotted somewhere past this town."
Devon walked around some more around the landing docks and a guy wearing black Mandolarian armor asked, "Hey you looking for a guy name Zilfer of Shadows?
Devon turned around and said, "Yeah."
"He went to go meet someone on the ground building somewhere around here," he said.
Devon nodded and pulled out her comlink. "Roland I got a location," she said. "Ground floor on Nar Shaddaa."

Yuki walked into the building and looked around. It was big and as they came up to the hologram of a person she figured it had to be Goto. He started his attack on Zilfer's conscience and she thought Zilfer would be strong enough to handle it and stick up for himself, but it seemed Zilfer couldn't bare it. Yuki, however, could bare it, she listened to everything Goto said Zilfer had done and she still held her ground at where she stood on Zilfer's humanity.
"I have seen Zilfer do more good in this galaxy then he has done wrong. If you want to blame someone of being unstable, try blaming Emperor Cain, he has gone from Kumori back to Darkside more than anyone I know. He is also the one who ordered Zilfer to do the things he did, and he was the reason Zilfer fell to the darkside in the first place." Yuki looked over at Zilfer who seemed extremely hurt at thinking of the things he has done.
"Trust me, as sad as it is to say this, because I believe every life has value, but if anyone were to be taken out of the equation, it should be Alex Drake, aka Emperor Cain of the Sith Empire." Yuki held onto Zilfer's hand now. She did not know much of what to say to him.
"I believe that not so deep down, Zilfer of Shadows is a really good guy, and he has the power to stop this war." She turned to Zilfer and whispered in his ear. She couldn't believe it, but she was afraid she could lose him, to the darkside or just lose him inside his conscience, maybe forever.
"And I love you....."

Rusade entered the catina and began to walk around, listening to conversations. He then sat by the bar and ask the bartender a question.
"Ever hear a man named Zilfer...of shadows?" asked Rusade. The bartender shook his head. Rusade frowned and then ordered a drink, took a sipped and then scanned the place once for time.

As soon as he heard what this new man, Goto, had to say, Kyllian replied, "Sure, Zilfer was evil, but he isn't now. Cain was the one who inserted a new soul into Zilfer in the first place, so Zilfer isn't responsible for that. Lord Nanashi has not and will never be Zilfer because Zilfer is his own person. Therefore, Zilfer is not responsible for what Lord Nanashi did."
"Also, you may say that because of ALL of Zilfer's actions, he should be taken away from the events taking hand. But. He is our only hope at defeating Cain for Zilfer has experienced Cain's power before and can help us defend ourselves when it comes to battle. We NEED Zilfer whether you like it or not and I'm not willing to let you take away the only hope that our universe has of ever surviving this war."
"Yeah, Jor and his army make a huge difference along with our allies, but we need Zilfer. Like Yuki said, Zilfer was only turned into Lord Nanashi by Cain. When we, (as in Yuki, I, Kyu, Moonfire and Jor), gave Zilfer a chance to break free from Lord Nanashi's grasp, Zilfer destroyed the guy! He made the best choice he could based off of the situation at hand. He could have let Lord Nanashi destroy us all. But, he didn't. He came back and dislodged the evil from his mind and then annihilated the pestilence that was created by Cain."
"I will finish with: You may see Zilfer as a bad man, but he isn't responsible for what Lord Nanashi did. Zilfer is my mentor and I will not let you take him because of something you assumed. If you choose to take him away from humanity, I don't believe i could let you."
Kyllian, then, let the force through him as never before, as if his body was battle melding with the force itself. So much so was his bond with the force that Kyllian truly believed that he would not let Zilfer be taken, even at the cost of his own life.
