Well if your gonna say Ganner, I wouldn't think so, because when he died he wasn't glowing a gold aura when he died like Anakin Solo was! Ganner Rhysode died for self redemption for his stupidity, Anakin died saving his party out of compassion for his brothers and sisters in the force and to save them on the mission to Myrkyr. Anakin apparently used so much force that he began to glow with energy that eventually broke his body down and he... what? killed maybe a few dozen, perhaps hundred warriors to buy time. The awesomeness that is the Ganner took out thousands of warriors without having to resort to just using raw force energy. Ganner was truly one with the force during his fight, and the Vong would name a demigod after him. Not to mention Ganner squadron which had the two greatest Corellians of all time in it. Ganner takes Anakin hands down. None shall pass!

I agree with Raam, Yoda is the is the strongest. he is a short jedi master but that doesn't mean he is weaker. Yoda could easily kill Luke if he had to.

Actually it all depends if we're talking overall or Force mastery or Combat mastery... In Force mastery; Yoda, in Combat mastery; Mace Windu, but overall I'd say Luke and Anakin... I think they'd be about equal.

Anakin Skywalker.
Qui-Gon Jin "He has a higher Midiclorian count than Master Yoda"
Anakin Skywalker was also the "Chosen One" In the prophecy. Strength in the force is also genetic so Luke would also inherit a naturally high Midiclorian count.
Pfft Ganner does not compare to Anakin Skywalker in the books. Anakin was stronger than his older brother and sister and appeared to be the next Luke Skywalker... Darn Yuuzhan Vong.

ok, first. Mediclorien count is not like a power level in DBZ.
Second, Yoda would have handed Anakin's ass to him on mustafar if obi wan and yoda had changed places.
Third, Anakin was a whinny ass bitch. and he was a moron. Not quite the definition of power most people look for.

It was Luke Skywalker. He did thing that even the most powerful Jedi master couldn't do. ya right it was anikin before he turned to the dark side fully because he was more powerful then yoda in episode one it said somthing about him being more powerful then yoda and yoda is stronger then luke yoda trained luke

It said he had a higher Mediclorien count, which means he COULD HAVE been more powerful then Yoda... that is if he had done as much training as Yoda instead of turning to the dark side and having his ass handed to him by Obi Wan on Mustifar.

What cain said, and the CHOSEN ONE still remains to be seen, luke seemed to me to bring balance to the force to me. Destorying the sith from the galaxy, and being as strong as vader. >.> i would say luke is more the chosen one then anyone else.

Well TECHNICALLY Vader destroyed the Sith by throwing Sidious into the reactor. In that one stroke he destroyed the Dark Lord and Himself.
