I liked Episode 3, but what threw me off most wasn't the acting, it was some of the wiritng. It's been mentioned before in this thread I believe, but Anakin completely disregarded everything he's ever learned and threw away everything he had by trusting Palps. Even when he reveals himself as a sith, it doesn't seem to click for him that most of what Palps saying is probably false. Stupid Annie...

i guess i'm the only one here who likes the prequels and the old ones. >.> <.<
Anywas my imput is.
I didnt care about star wars at all intill the perpuals WHICH IS WHAT MADE ME GET INTO IT EVEN MORE. I had watched star wars, and then after the prequals i got kotor, and kotor 2, and i'm gettin into the star wars world. So i as an example prove that HK does have a point, the prequals help get people interesting, i there hasnt been much bush about star wars intill the prequals i think.
And that's my imput.

i there hasnt been much bush about star wars intill the prequals i think. what? In my entire life i don't think i've ever seen any bush about star wars. If there was a Star Wars bush out there i'd grow a bunch of them in my back yard. But i have yet to see one.

I didn't say I didn't like the prequels, that was just taking my words out of context.

then you'd be wrong. there has been buzz about star wars since the trailer came out for it in 77. I went to school with kids obsessed with it. I was obsessed with it and i hadn't even seen all the movies until years after i saw IV.
I built x-wings out of lego's and always equated men in black cloaks to Darth Vader. without the prequels Star Wars would have lasted well into the next 20 years. Sometimes, when you have a good thing, you just need to leave it alone. Stop fiddling with it, stop "Adjusting" the special effects and characters. Don't add more onto it. Just let it be, let it take it's place in history.

Just like in that South Park episode, when all of the main movie directors(Lucas, Speilburg, some other guy) sought out to make "prequals", or redo the movies in general.

MAN THIS TOPIC HAS GOTTEN WAY OFF TOPIC! SOMEONE CREATE A NEW THREAD TO BITCH ABOUT CHANGES AND THE PREQUELS!
Okay... calm down Odan... breath in... breath out...
Okay now, this topic is about who we think is the strongest Jedi and why. For the sake of reasoning, I suggest that if we want to complain about the movies, do it in a new topic about complaints or some other related topic. Thank you, this well help people express themselves more clearly in the future.

besides, we already decided that Luke, Kyp or the Ganner were the strongest jedi. Now that we have that decided, why can't we just shoot the breeze about something else.

I like the prequels... hell my favorite one is Episode III. And z, I think the reason it seems to you like there was no buzz about Star Wars until the prequels is because when you were born the movies were already 13 years old.
Oh, and Luke is the strongest Jedi.

I agree that Luke may be the strongest jedi, although not in the movies. We can't really tell with Ganner, because when he truly harnessed his full power, he died along with it. I only say Luke not just because of all of his capabilities, but because of all of the conflicts he saw through and conquered. And even before the prequels, there was always a buzz about Star Wars --- but it wasn't a buzz like "Oh my god let's go sit and watch this movie." The truth is, everyone had already seen it and it had become more of a cultural staple than a movie series.
