Star Wars Rise of the Helghast Part 1: Ressurection from the Ashes
After nearly 500 years of solid isolation from the rest of the galaxy, a seemingly unknown government by the name of the Helghast has decided to rise up and join the rest of the galaxy.
After nearly being completely destroyed and wiped from the galaxy's memory by an unknown Yuzzhan Vong invasion that took place nearly five centuries before the rise of the Empire, the Helghast have rebuilt their great civilization and now look to come back to the galaxy and bring themselves back to their former glory.
As members of the Helghan senate meet for the last time before they are to rejoin the galaxy, diplomats from both the USF and Chris' Empire who just recently discovered this great civilization make their way towards Helghan.........

The huge amphitheater that was the Helghast Senate chamber was filled with the elected members from the different sectors of Helghan sent to represent their sector of the planet. The Helghast had once been a proud, strong empire that had dominated the Helghan solar system for nearly eight years. But when the system had been invaded by the Yuzzhan Vong many years before they invaded the entire galaxy, their proud government had been destroyed and ripped to shreds right under their noses. They had been ill-prepared for the invasion and suffered terribly.
But they didn’t simply let themselves wither away. They rebuilt their government from the ground up. Even though they had been stuck on Helghan after the Yuzzhan Vong had destroyed their space capabilities, they continued to grow as a society and eventually became the Helghast Federation.
Today, at this meeting of the senate, Necromudas was to discuss the Grand Initiative which would rebuild their space capabilities and allow them to communicate with the rest of the galaxy after over five-hundred years of isolation.
As the stocky Helghan made his way to the podium, the entire chamber fell silent as they waited for him to speak. He looked around the room a few times, and then spoke in a deep, loud voice, “My friends! Our time has come! For the last eight decades we have remained isolated from the rest of the galaxy.” He paused, and then continued with his speech. “But today! Today is the beginning of a new era for our proud society! Today is the day we once more take to the stars and remain isolated from the galaxy no more!”
His voice then died down to take on a clam tone. “My friends! We all know of our proud history and heritage. We are all proud of it. But when the Yuzzhan Vong invaded, it was taken away from us like we were nothing! Shunned, tossed aside as they reaped our resources and nearly stripped our entire planet of resources.” His eyes began to glow with a fire like none other. “But we prevailed! Through our vigilance and determination, we rebuilt our proud society from the ground up! And look at us today!” He gestured at the entire chamber and continued. “We are a very strong people, and we have proved it time and time again! Now, we take to the stars once more and become part of the galaxy once more!” The entire chamber erupted into thunderous applause that seemed to shake the entire room, and then died down as Necromudas raised his hand for silence.
“Under the Grand Initiative, we will rebuild our space-faring capabilities and resurrect ourselves into the galaxy once more. We will become apart of the Republic and protect ourselves from foreign invaders such as the Yuzzhan Vong and grow stronger as a society so everyone will know the name Helghast and respect it, just as we shall respect them!” A few people shuffled in their seats, but other than that, there was no response, so Necromudas continued. “Today is our day ladies and gentlemen! We shall no more be forgotten by the galaxy or anything else! We shall rise from the ashes as we did before and reclaim our honor in the name of Helghan!” The entire assembly erupted into applause that was more spectacular than the first as his speech ended and he left the stage.
Later Necromudas sat bent over his desk as the sun set on the horizon, causing a pink glow to come in through the window. He scratched the rest of his signature, and then looked up at the six people standing before him. “This will truly be a great day for us, gentlemen. This I can assure you. When we-“
A knock on the door to his office interrupted him and he bellowed, “Come in!”

A human looking women walked into the offices, like the rest of the people on the planet she did not where a mask, or any other form of protection against the atmosphere. She gave a little bow as a sign of respect. On her trip to this planet, she had be given a list of protocols which where assembled through monitoring there communications which had the power to leave there planet.
"Greetings Grand Initiative. I am Cele Stial of the United Systems Federation. It is an honor to be given the privilege of being one of the first none-Helghast to see your world."
Cele chose to try and be diplomatic as possible during this first meeting. The Federation always welcomed new planets which had the possibility of trade, commerce, and even wished to join. This of course was not to say she had vast knowledge of the Helghast information on the original Republic settlement and up to the time when they vanished from galactic affairs. All this information however did not prepare her for the meeting of them. It had never crossed her mind that they would have not understood or maybe even been insulted by the fact that an artificial life form would be the representative of the Federation. This is if they could even they could detect any difference; she did show all the signs of a living person that was an unknown humanoid. Cele had never admitted to being a machine on first meeting someone, but instead always claimed to be a Celestial which in some sense was true because her program was base of a Celestial energy matrix. The thing which would most likely perplex them the most was the seeming ability to breathe their toxic atmosphere, but all her concerns where secondary to setting up a peaceful relationship with this planet.

((The Grand Initiative is the plan to rebuild their space-faring capabilties and rejoin the galaxy. You are talking to Necromudas. Sorry if I didn't make that clear. lol.)) Necromudas returned the bow respectfully. "Greetings Cele. And I must say what a pleasure and honor it is that you decided to join us." His expression turned into a cross between serious and friendly as he spoke, "On behalf of Helghan and its people, the Helghast wish to join the United Systems Federation. We have been isolated from the rest of the galaxy for far too long andwe wish to come back."

OOC: Sorry, I thought Grand Initiatival was the title of Necromadus.
Cele nodded. "We, we would be glad to extend a hand in friendship and a seat on the Federation Council to your world." Cele produced a folder with several document from her briefcase. It contained a copy of the Articles of Federation, Laws of the Federation, and a formal request for membership. "Here is the documentation you well need to join the United Systems Federation. I believe that Helghast and the Federation can offer each other much and foresee this day as a true moment in history." Cele smiled as she laid the folder on his desk. "As an important member of the Federation, is there anything I can do to assist the Helghast in their reassimilation into the galaxy? Do you require extra resource or ships in order began intergalactic commerce? We could also help find buyers for you planets main export and sellers which well bring what you planet requires for imports. Just know that you do not have to face the galaxy alone. The Helghast people are strong, but in this new galaxy the demands are quite different then they were when we lost contact with you." Cele did not want to insult the Helghast people, but it was a very different galaxy then they left it and her offer of help was only meant in the best interest of everyone.

"Well, seeing that we have almost no space-faring capabilties besides satellites and rockets,I see a great deal of business in the near future between us. And I'm pretty sure the galaxy has changed, most certainly after 500 years." He sort of chuckled, but in a respectful manner. He looked over the documents, being careful to read everything and nodded. "This seems quite fair enough. I believe we can work this out," and he began to fill out the forms with great anticipation. Soon, his people would be apart of the galaxy once more, and the Helghast wouldn't be a mere stepping stone someone could simply trample upon. With help from the Federation, they would help purge the galaxy of evil.

Cele was glad to be getting the Helghast into the Federation. As such a weaken planet, they could be the poster world of all the Federation goals, views, and hopes. "Well, I can promise you that the Federation we dedicate substance resource to promote the economic and social security of your planet, but in the way of the Federation it will never be more then your government wishes." Cele watched him filling out the forms, but felt it was just as good time to discuses the future which the Helghast wanted. "I see the true strength within the Helghast people being their isolation. Your isolation has given your people such a different view of the galaxy, science and engineering. I think that our finish engineers could learn from each other, create things that each only dreamed of. Our universities and government sponsored research station can bring Helghast up to galactic standards while instructing us in your own technology." She then thought of the possibility of maybe creating an orbital ship and repair yards in hopes of bring more traffic to this world. She did not say this of course, believing that pushing to much on the planet at once would create the negative image that the Federation was trying to force them into something they are not.
She slowly raised to leave "Well, I think I well take my leave now. I am sure there are things you well wish to speak to your people about without me around. If you need anything from me, I well be in orbit of your planet on my ship." Cele got up and walked to the door before quickly turning around. She pulled out a data table from her briefcase and walked back to Necromudas desk. "I almost forgot, before coming I put together a design for a respirator system which your current engineers could manage to assemble along with a simple Hyperdrive design. I was not sure if you had planned to join any already formed government, but I knew it was your wish to rejoin the galaxy. I felt like a little welcome to the big galaxy was in order. So instead of being your primary base of your space explorations, consider this a taste of what your engineers well be seeing." She gave him a little wink before letting go of the pad and headed away again. She had always plan to give him the data, not because she felt it could convince them that the Federation was a good group. Cele had done it because she could not set back and watch a struggle. This was why the Celestial race helped to seed life throughout the galaxy, and repair damage which the Infinite Empire created. It was truly going to be a gift in which the Helghast would have been able to expand on and move into the galaxy with. She walked back to her shuttle and headed back into orbit where three ships where sitting. Two of the ships; the Romulus and Twilight, where cloaked and where escorting the Ashla. While not the most powerful ships in the Federation Fleet, they did represent a force to be reckoned with if someone was dumb enough to become hostile to towards them.

Necromudas looked over the designs with intense curiosity and smiled. This decision was the best he, or anyone else on Helghan, had ever made. He handed the designs to the Grand Leigonary of the Armed Forces and asked, "Think your men can create these?" The Grand Leigonary looked over the designs and smiled brightly. "Of course we can! And if we do, this will be the best thing that has ever happened to us!"
The Grand Leigonary snapped Necromudas a salute, which he returned, and left the room to head to the AFHQ (Armed Forces Headquarters) to start on the designs. Necromudas looked at the rest of his staff and announced, "Tomorrow, we shall announce this to all of Helghan. From here on out, nothing will be the same ever again. Today gentlemen, is the beginning of a new era for us! For Helghan!" They all saluted and marched out of the office, leaving Necromudas alone to ponder what had happened today. Tomorrow would indeed, be the most monumental day in Helghan's history.

Cele walked into her quarters and picked up the latest Federation status reports. If someone was to look at the datapad it would look like complete jabirus because Cele truly powerful program she could read it encoded. She personally designed the code which was used to send message to her. They where fractal decryption codes which where next to impossible to break. She reviewed the progress reports until the next day she headed down to the planet to witness the news that the world was going to join the Federation. She had planned to do it from the crowd because she felt that the Federation was all about the masses.

Just before the ceremony started, Necromudas caught up to Cele. “We’ll need you to be up with me. I’m sorry if you feel any other way, but I believe it would be best.”

Cele nodded. "If that is what you wise. It is just I do not want to misrepresent the Federation. We are not about a single person but an idea of unity of sovereign states with a goal of galactic peace and stability. But lead away." Cele fallowed Necromudas to the stands and state down in the seat which had her name on a small note. She was wondering what this was going to be like, sense these people had been removed for so long. This made them extremely independent.

The entire gathering fell silent as Necromudas made his way up to the stand. He quickly scanned the gathering, then began. "My fellow Helghast! For the past five centuries as you all know, we have lived in isolation from the rest of the galaxy. For five hundred years we have endured many hardships and trials I need not speak of." He paused, then continued, "But those five hundred years have also given us the chance to rebuild ourselves and our proud society in ways we thought weren't even possible." He glanced quickly at Cele, then turned back around and continued, "This day! This day marks the beginning of a new era in our proud history, and it is my great honor to introduce the person who is responsible for our reunion with our long-lost allies, Cele Stial!" He turned back to her and motioned towards her, recieving thunderous applause as he smiled at her.

Cele cursed in her mind. She did not want this, they where join a government of the people, not of a droid. Cele put on her best diplomat's face and stood. She gave a polite bow than sat down again hoping that would be the end of the focus on her. This was government sixty two which Cele had personally worked with in joining the U.S.F. and most still pointed the finger to her for the joining. She wanted them to see it was them; not her, which made joining the Federation possible. However she quickly wrote a speech in her head incase she was requested to speak.
