The sun shined on the Mandalorian base on Dxun. The base was slowly expanding. New comers were rare to this planet ever since the Exile came here. Mandalore walked around, observing the younger Mandalorians as they were training in the Mandalorian ways of fighting. Mandalore smiled as he began walking back to the communications center.
"Anything on radar?" asked Mandalore.
"None yet. It looks like its gonna be another day at the office."

The familiar lightly padded footsteps of Ca'tra Naast were otherwise faintly heard, even through the aural receptors of a Mando helmet; but amidst the dense silence of the Dxun encampent, the clansmen in and about Mandalore's base of operations detected him and turned away from their mundane tasks to nod and acknowledge. Mandalorians did not salute their superior officers, but rather substantiated the presence of an officer with a simple grunt that seemed to have the connotation of "Aye."
Ca'tra spoke with Mandalore frequently, and on a required basis of every 6 hours for mandatory updates. Essentially presiding over the security of the camp as well as supervision of recruit training, his status reports kept Mandalore informed on all levels. Not a secretary to his leader and mentor by any stretch, he kept his verbal details brief and the bulk of information within a datapad. His extensive duties often spred him extremely thin, leaving logged entries as the only efficient way to stay on the move; although Mandalore still decreed he deliver his status reports in person.
Ca'tra made his way into the central communications room, not expecting his leader to visibly acknowledge his presence as he began his recitation in a rapid, semi-formal tone.
"Day 74 of the current cycle, 1800 hours -- Internal and External Communications, Green. Radar dish, Green. Perimeter radar jamming, Green. Orbital shuttles, Green. All sentries are stealthed and accounted for. Three Boma beasts have been logged and eliminated. Recruit blaster training is in progress. Rations are at equilibrium."
Finishing his report with a fatigued intonation, he stepped forward and laid the datapad down on the shelf of a console. As things had been running smoothly for the past several days, he took a rest and leaned against the wall, gazing at Mandalore as if searching for words. He began abruptly with a sigh.
"You haven't made a run to Iziz in a while; what's the situation?"
He had hoped not to make it painfully obvious that his reason for asking was that he wished to accompany him and visit home, but he feared Mandalore knew him too well to detect no restlessness in his voice.

"Not really sure why I haven't, Ca'tra. Ever since we freed Iziz from the Sith, the Republic hasn't needed us. I plan not to attack them, need we more enemies we do not. Ater that battle over Malachor V, I am still a little angst of leaving when we are at our weakest point. One thing to remember is to keep your friends close, but your enemies closer. Now, is that Temple where the Sith were all cleared out of resistance?"

Seeing as how Ca'tra hasn't responded, Mandalore left his base as 2 of his body guards followed him to his private hangar bay. The men loaded onto his ship and took off from the planet Dxun.
