It was early in the morning. The sun was now rising and it's warm light was shining through my bedroom window.
I awoke as the light began to reviel my face which was half buried into a silk pillow. The iris of my eyes quick shrunk, adjusting to the light.
This was another normal day for me. Waking up early to hitch a ride with my father Veork. We both working for a shipping comapny which exported metals to shipyards. Mainly the one here on Corellia. But, we had deliveries going on for as far as there were customers willing to buy.
My job was being part of the delivery crew. I mainly working in the storage room of the ship. Making sure that all of the products were secured correctly, and taking inventory.
The company had strict rules. The employees were to have no criminal record of any kind. We are to be checked by a doctor regularly to make sure that our bodies are healthy. And for the rest of the rules, they are all regular standerds of conduct.
I put on my work clothes which were a simple blue shirt and blue jean type pants. On the shirt was a simple logo with the name "Corellian Exports".
I headed out of my bedroom, and joined my father in the kitchen where he was sitting at the table listening to the weather reports. Today was to be sunny with scattered clouds around noon.
"Mornin' dad." I said as I took a seat at the table.
"Mornin'" He replied shortly with his deep voice.
We didnt talk much. Breakfast was always silent. I'm guessing my father was never a morning type person.
An hour later, we were heading out of our home, and walking down the road to a transport station which would take us to work. We paid the fee and stepped aboard. The transport was filed with other co-workers.
When we had arrived, I was confronted by my manager. He was a blue Twi'lek named Xanos. He was wonderful guy who always looked out for his staff.
He handed me the schedule for the day. It showed me all of the deliveries. Today I would stop by the shipyard, and then make a trip to Taris.
Later, me and the ships crew began loading the ship. It was a Action VI transport frieghter, capable of hauling 90,000 metric tons. And within the hour, the frieghter was lifting into the sky, and heading to the shipyard.
