Feet took their first step on the planet that they have touched so many times already. Those feet were the feet of Chax Erien, a man who was just a simple wanderer now. That path was taken many times, and it seemed all too natural for him to be alone. But the quietness that came with being alone was always painful for him. With his face concealed by the hood of his robe, Chax walked through the world, keeping one hand on the hilt of his blade, ready to draw it anytime necessary. There was no real reason for him to come back, and there was no reason for him to be cautious. He was quite certain no one was in the area. That action was just like a reflex, though it did not even bother him.
"No one should be at the village," he said aloud. His voice was not too loud, but it was still louder then a whisper. That message was only meant for him to hear, and with him being secure that no one was around, he could speak out loud. With his hand still ready to draw, he peered around looking if there was anybody. A strange wanting of companionship was flowing through him. He was sure that all of his old friends from the village were dead or in hiding, but could others have also returned? Before he saw someone in the village, but it did not turn out too well. "Is that man still there. I wonder. He had a strange power that I could feel, and his blade. I don't remember him well, but I can tell who he is by his looks if I see him." It did not occur to him that it was weird to talk to himself out loud too much.
After walking some time towards the village, he finally took a stop. This place on the outskirts of the village was where he enjoyed resting. It was nice to just lie down on the ground, no matter how uncomfortable other people would be. Finally he released his grip on the sword. He lowered his hood, showing his face. His hair was a bit outgrown, along with being unwashed for some time. Along with that, he had a little bit of a beard growing, but it wasn't too much. Overall, he hadn't taken care of himself for sometime, with him just wandering with food that he could easily cook. He thought about how he looked and said, "I called myself a great warrior before. How unfitting for a great warrior to go around unshaven and dirty." He sat down and looked around, wondering if any animals would come. Deciding that he did not want to be bothered by and light, he put his hood back on and covered his eyes. Soon enough, he fell into a light sleep.
