Six touched down on the surface of Epsilon III in the Dynamic - Class Freighter Kell had given him. He still hadn't thought of a name for the ship yet, and he'd have to soon. It was hard to get through a civilized system without an identified ship.
He walked down the boarding ramp and entered into one of the subterranean cities with his data tube out. Scanning the systems around him he started exploring.
When he'd come back into this world Kosh had made him into human form. That wasn't normal, it should have been impossible, but Six supposed it was a simple matter for Kosh, who existed on another plane of evolution now. But Six was sure that Kosh couldn't have done it without leaving some kind of piece of himself behind, some remnant of his being left in his psyche or some bit of energy left over in his body somewhere.
Six figured the best place to find this last bit of Kosh was here, on Epsilon III. He'd been living with them for 20 years now, so he picked up a little bit on their technology. They increased his intelligence and taught him math, physics, engineering, astronomy, biology. His mind was full of so much knowledge he knew he could figure at least some of this stuff out.

Finding a chamber within the Kosh city that lacked any kind of furniture or technology, Six was intrigued. Usually rooms had a purpose or had some kind of technology within them so finding one devoid of anything was unusual.
Six started scanning the room, finding nothing but a low level EM signature. He put his hand against a wall and found it warm to the touch, which explained the EM signature but didn't explain why the wall was warm. Six flagged the room for later study and moved on.

Six continued his exploration of the underground city. He'd found several interesting rooms like the first one he'd found. Generating a light EM field with no furniture, no consoles, no technology. Just walls that were warm to the touch.
Six had flagged their locations for investigation. He wished he had access to his ships scanning equipment, he could map the city out and find out exactly where these rooms were, see if there was a pattern to their placement. But without all the cool technologies of the Memory he was unable to do much of anything with his ship while he was outside it.
Six decided that was probably the best idea right now so her turned back and headed for his ship.

Six hovered low over the surface of the planet. His ships sensors working overtime scanning into the crust of the planet, mapping out the city underneath. Jor had to reprogram his computer systems a few times over to make them more efficient. He'd also begun working on a Artificial Intelligence to aid him with managing the ships systems.
He rubbed his eyes and sat back in his chair. His brain was fried. He'd been reprogramming his computers, writing a very complicated AI program and operating the overloaded sensor systems for a few hours now.
The scanner system beeped informing Six that it had finished it's initial scan. Six sat back up and brought up his newly formed map of the city, then input the location flags from his data tube.
The results shocked him. "But... thats impossible!" Six exclaimed to himself. "What!... What?"
The map showed all the flags he'd made, but the strange thing was they were all in the same spot. The map clearly showed one room at the center of the city that held all the flag markers in it. But Six had found these rooms all over the place. He was sure of it.
"But thats impossible!" He exclaimed again.

After further investigation, Six had discovered something else that was strange about this mysterious room that seemed to be in several places at once. In depth scans of the room revealed it to be exactly 15 feet cubed but when Jor measured it from within the room it measured to be 18 feet cubed.
Jor couldn't explain where this extra 2,457 cubic feet came from but he'd redone the experiment several times and checked both his data tube and his ships scanners for discrepancies. Somehow the room was bigger on the inside then it was on the outside.
The sheer impossibility of this baffled Six to no end, but he couldn't argue with the results of his sensor equipment. The next step was to find out what caused this weird exception to the laws of reality.

Six entered the city for the tenth time that day, on an expedition to find out what caused this impossible room to be possible. Scans from overhead showed several plasma coils around the room and the slight EM field emanating from within it seemed to be the side effect of an unknown power source housed under the room.
Six journeyed into the city using his self made map to find the chamber directly under the mysterious room. The chamber had a sliding door but it was sealed. There was no obvious console to open the door so Six withdrew his data tube. Scanning the door he found there was an opening console on the other side of the door. It was strange, a door that could only be opened from the inside but no matter.
Six used the datatube to activate the console and the door slid open. Stepping inside he looked around. It was a smaller room. Smaller then the mystery room anyway. At its center was a pedestal, about waist height with a strange cylinder on top of it. The cylinder was orange in color, almost like a glass tube filled with a luminescent liquid.
Scanning the object with the data tube Six found the device was some form of power source. Energy readings coming off it were off the charts. Six thought it might be possible this one little thing was powering the whole city but the room above probably required so much energy that this one might just be powering the room.
Six walked over to the pedestal, which was the home of a complicated set of controls. Using a combination of his own intelligence and newly found technical knowledge and his data tube to investigate the console.

Six found that the city had three such devices powering the city. The console he was at could network with the others and control them remotely and from what he could tell, shutting this one down could be catastrophic to the planet. It was powering a room that defied the laws of reality, which, in point of fact, bent reality to it's programming. Pulling the plug would cause reality to snap back to it's rightful order instantaneously and extremely violently, perhaps with enough force to destroy this entire city.
Six was curious though, he wanted to know how this thing worked. It's practical applications were endless. Homes could be built so that outside they only took up the space of a small doorway, but within them could be mansions.
He downloaded all the information he could from the power console computer but it wasn't very much. He'd need to find a information computer somewhere within the city. A quick search on the power devices control computer told him that maintenance control was just above the impossible room.
Six sighed and plotted out some directions for himself then set out to find his way to the maintenance control room.

Six walked into maintenance control and used his data tube to log into the central computer. A life size hologram of Kosh appeared. Six had almost forgotten what they looked like when they inhabited their encounter suits.
The holographic figured looked down at Six and the iris on the face mask of the encounter suit opened slightly, emitting a faint yellow light.
"Yes?" Kosh asked.
"My name is Six. I've come to ask about the room at the cities center." Six said. "What sort of device allows this room to be larger on it's inside relative to it's outside?"
"Your species... Huma... .... no... Gen'dai is not known to have the required level of scientific evolution to understand the answer behind your request." Kosh said.
"Scan me, i'll understand it." Six said confidently.
"Scanning.... scann...." The iris opened wider. "Gen'dai your brain is not the standard of your species. You possess the intellectual abilities to know."
"I don't just want to know, i want to understand." Six said.
"Understanding, is a three edged sword." Kosh said. "But i will attempt to express the details to you."

Six walked out of the maintenance room holding a blue notebook he'd gotten a few hours ago from his ship. It was true that a datapad would have been much more efficient but Six liked the feeling of writing on paper. In the notebook he wrote notes on the lecture Kosh had given him.
From these notes, the scans he'd taken and what he now knew of the laws of reality, Six was confident he could reconstruct a similar, if inelegant device should he want to. The only problem was these power sources.
From his conversations with the cities sentient computer Six had discovered these devices collect energy from artificial pockets of subspace. They draw their energy from another dimension similar to hyperspace. It produces a ton of zero point energy, on par with the largest theoretical anti-matter reactors, except these things were the size of a hat box.
Six had no clue how to build one of his own and it was required to power the spacial distortion device. Six sighed, he'd have to find one somewhere, because he had a great idea for how he could use a device like this for his ship.

Six stood at the base of another zero point energy device. This one seemed to power the lower levels of the city, so the draw on it's energy was less then the rest. the city could suffer to lose this one.
The only problem Six saw was that removing this device might be seen as a threat to the city which would set off the automated defenses. Six's intelligence could save him from a lot of things, but he wasn't sure he'd even know where to start should the automated defenses get mad at him.
So, before he started pulling out doohickeys and whatchamacallits he decided he'd try and remove this room from the cities defensive priorities. He also was looking for a way to make the other zero point energy devices in the city to pick up the slack of the one he's removing.
Push comes to shove he could take the backup generator out of his ship and use it to supplement the cities power supply.

Six ran, hat box sized power generator in his arms, for his life. Automated defense drones behind him every step of the way. He skidded around a corner just as a kinetic energy torpedo struck behind him. He escaped the blast but his coat tails weren't so lucky.
"Maybe this was a bad idea. Six said as he ran." Ahead of him a door was slowly closing. He threw the power device ahead of him and sprinted. a few feet before reaching the almost closed door way he crouched and started sliding. The power device slid under it with ease, and so did he. He picked the device up again and started running. It would be a matter of seconds before more drones were on him.
His sneakers squeaked against the clean floor and the unmistakable sound of a security drone could be heard coming towards him.
"Yep, definatly not a good idea."

The automated defense drone came around the corner and pointed it's gravitation beam weapon. Six skidded to a stop and pointed his data tube at the power device.
"Woah, stop there. Make a sign and i shut down the protection grid on this thing. It will level the city." Six said.
The security drone stopped, shifted left and right a little. It's scanning eye looked Six over. Six took the chance and stepped forward. The drone moved back. Another step forward and another move back.
"Ok, glad we found and understanding." In a flash Six pointed the data tube at the drone and was instantly inside the things network. The tube and the drone were both of Kosh design so Six was able to interface easily. In seconds he was out of the network and the Drone was moving off.
He'd told the drone that it required maintenance, and in fact that the entire security system in the city was past due for maintenance. The drone backed down and headed off to the closest maintenance zone.
"Whew... that was close."

Six quickly finished strapping the Zero Point Module into the passenger seat and took off. He didn't waist time. The ship was up and in orbit in no time flat, breaking for a hyperspace lane. He wouldn't be able to come back for a while, not until he could change his ships identity enough that Epsilon III didn't recognize it.
