Who do you think would win if the clones from the Clone Wars fought the Stromtroopers during the Rebllion.
I think its the clones because their sole purpose of being made is fighting.

Clones are stormtroopers, their armor was just upgraded. Debate over.

Well yes but the stormtroopers eventully have more humans than clones so they would be different people but whatever I guess it was kind of stupid to ask.

Odd, considering their heyday was ten to twenty years prior to the Battle of Yavin. It's always been interesting to look at the disproportionate ratio in Star Wars of time progression to technological advancement. (Although, did they truly have better weapons? For example, the Empire saw the development of things like TIE Defenders and Super Star Destroyers, the Rebels had their X-wings and A-wings, and I'm sure the armaments were more varied than the standard-issue storm trooper E-11 blaster rifle. However, here's this quote from a Wiki article: Stormtroopers carried E-11 rifles throughout the Galactic Civil War. The design was based on that of the DC-15 series of blaster rifles, carbines, and pistols favored by the Republic clone troopers. Were the DC-15s better weapons, and thus used as the foundation for the E-11? Or did the later weapon improve on the older design? Food for thought. Or something. ^_^ )

Clones are stormtroopers, their armor was just upgraded. Debate over. Someone doesn't pay attention. No, not ALL clones became stormtroopers. In the beginning, they did, yes. But at the end, like in the Galactic Civil War, there were few left. The only notable ones left were the 501st Legion, and they were pretty damn old.

Thanks bruinfamer and others for seeing my views.
Sorry for confusings anyone.
I still think the clones are better for another reason and a better one too.
The clones are more loyal and willing to die. While the New stormtroopers are not geneticaly loyal like if you see in the new stars wars clone wars show the senator guard betrayed and the new stormtroopers would most likey give up easily.

First of all, you are correct about the armor part. Second of all, not all stormtroopers were vets. Some were vets, most notably the 501st. Others were just new recruits.

i know but the storm troopers are the old clones. if they are storm troopers they have obviously survived long enough to have somewhat of a veterency.so the clones still wouldn't have a chance if what you say is true.

Although many storm troopers were still clones, they came from several different strands of stock DNA rather then just one. And those who did join up to become storm troopers had to conform to specific height and build restrictions so the empire didn't have to spend money making different sized armor. In fact, i'd go so far as to say most of the Republic military towards the end of the Clone Wars were not clones but regular recruits. The clones purpose was to level the playing field at the beginning of the war since the republic really didn't have a military at the time. as for loyalty, you can put loyalty into anyone. Talk with a Marine for five minutes and you'll know what i'm talking about. and i don't care what battlefield your on, anywhere in any galaxy but willingness to die is NOT a good trait to have in your troops. Show me an army thats totally willing to die for a cause and i'll show you an army that won't live past it's first battle.

Not all of them are. Do some research on wookiepedia, better yet, prove to me your point, and I'll stop.
