A person without purpose is just an empty shell. No purpose in life. Many seem to follow this path, including one Chax Erien. Losing everything, used to be a bother, but not anymore. Time has eased the pain, but has left him void. Just a shade now, Chax walked around the dark streets of the city planet, filled with other lowlifes with nothing to live for. It fit him well indeed...
Screams rang in the wanderer's ears, coming from a place even dark for this planet. "This place is never quiet," Chax muttered to himself, putting his hand on the rusty, sheathed katana hidden under his robe. Blood flowed through his veins once more. He could be a protector. And yet the situation was unknown to him, yet the screaming did not cease. The Kumori trainee charged in with his blade headfirst, aiming for the one who was clearly the assaulter. There was only one man, pushing a charming women against the wall.
His blade pierced the attacker's neck, right in the center. The crimson blood splashed before the victim's eyes, which wandered off to her "savior". All she saw was an even darker figure, hidden by his hood and with a blank expression. Its chilling expression could even be one of mourning, but she had to wonder why he would be tearing. Both stood still until Chax slashed out of the man's neck, leaving it half decapitated, the blade flying over the woman's head and around her until it was sheathed. Their eyes continued to stare into one another, her's starting to show even more fear and anxiety, and his dazing off in nostalgia.
It became apparent that she was too afraid to even run, so the shade found it best for him to leave. Some instinct told him to give her a smile, but one of madness. For whatever reason. He proceeded to use the Shadow Arts to disappear and reappear at the exit of the alleyway, running off to let her know he truly was leaving. After gaining some distance he wiped off his blade and continued to walk, no purpose, again.

Ravana walked along the empty street ways. Well, she hadn't gotten her own ship yet, but she was able to get here, to Nar Shadaa. A horrible place for anyone but a mercenary or a bounty hunter... or a crime lord. Here she might be able to get in some kind of work done. Hopefull. Then she noticed someone else near by. He seemed to be washing off some kind of sword. Was that blood he was wiping off? Wow, this really was the violent planet.

His blade now clean, Chax sheathed it. But he did notice a woman eying him. She appeared to be armed and dangerous, turning his head around after staring at her. His hand laid on his blade again just in case he was followed. The shade figured that someone like her could be a bounty hunter who was after that man he had slain. And everyone knows that bounty hunters are competitive about killing their marks. So he continued on nonchalantly, his hands presumably in his pockets but really one gripping his blade.

The blade struck her as odd for a moment. That sertainly wasn't a vibroblade that she knew of. What was it? If anything interested her, it was weapons. After all, she carried a lot of weapons on her at a time, and there was a reason for it. She studied up on every weapon before she got it, so all of her weapons were designed for the kill, and the most effective at doing so.
Well, she just couldn't help herself now. The question was bugging her. She started to follow him. "Excuse me," she called to him.

Chax noticed that the girl he saw earlier was starting to follow him. At first he believed it could be a coincidence, and starting even more trouble would be unwise. But soon he could tell that she was following him. About what was the real question. When he decided to finally attack her, he turned around when she asked for his attention. With one hand on the sheath and the other on the handle, he pulled out the sword to strike his follower with the handle, planning on pulling out the blade fully and pointing it at the girl. While doing this he shouted, "What do you want with me?!"

There were three words that danced into her mind at this moment. 'What the hell?' is what she thought. Were things so bad on this planet a simple excuse me caused fights? Honestly now, this guy was paranoid. But as soon as he drew the sword, she drew out her gun. The Disruptor pistol she had was the deadliest model in the known galaxy. Better range and accuracy then most on the market, and drew out more shots from the power pack, and had a better kill ratio then all others. It was also highly illegal nowadays, but that didn't matter here.
"What the hell?" she repeated for her mind. She kind of felt secure behind a deadly ass gun when compared to a gun. If she knew exactly what she was facing, she might not have felt so secure.

"You haven't answered the question," the shade simply stated, shifting to a battle stance. His blade being held sideways and parallel to his face, it was clear that he would probably go for a stab, particularly the neck. But for now he was more worried about the weapon, and perhaps in the end this wouldn't need to turn into a battle to the death. "I'll ask again, what do you want from me?" As he asked this, he shifted his blade slightly to make it easier to lunge for the disruptor pistol.

"All I was going to ask about was what kind of sword that was," said Ravana. "But now, I think I am more interested in shooting you in the face for pointing a sword at me. Seriously, now, what the hell?" The gun was pointing right at his face. She felt certain that if she fired, his face would be fried. After all, even Lightsabers can't block Disruptor shots.

Before he could speak, Chax was forced to use the Shadow Arts to avoid it. He entered the alternate dimension known as The Void, running as quickly as possible to be behind his new opponent. When forced to exit, he reached another alleyway. From it he let out a sickening laugh as a taunt and saying, "I don't like being followed, you know? 'Seriously, now, what the Hell?'" Finishing those mocking words, he ran into the alleyway, expecting to be followed.

Well, if anything was the wrong thing to say, that was it. She pointed the gun at him, turning around at a full one eighty as she heard the voice. Normally, teleporting people would freak her out, but he had used the time to taunt her. She pointed the Disruptor at the chest and fired the red beam at him. If it hit him, he was pretty much screwed. If it didn't... well, her other hand was reaching into her back pack for her other gun. The Sleep Inducer, a nice little Sonic pistol that was designed for knocking people out. Perfect weapon for any situation, but especially for someone who relied on a sword.

This time around he decided that teleporting again would be a little bored, and he did want to play around a little bit. Chax knew the moon shined brightly, so he used Moonlight to give the illusion that he had been shot by the Disrupter Pistol. He did, however, have to quickly dodge out of the way, hoping he had put an illusion over that. Although not really skilled with the Force, he had hoped that he would be able to at least pull something like that off perfectly. So, having trying to escape, he tried to take a stealthier attempt at finding a place to hide, making sure he didn't make any noise.

She saw that she had shot him, almost about to celebrate but... wait, wasn't that him slipping away? It was.... an illusion! What the hell was she fighting here? No matter. She shot at him, this time with the sonic blaster. The sonic waves traveled over the air, and when they hit Chax, she would here his screams of agony. It would feel like his whole body was vibrating. He would start feeling nauseous, maybe to the point of throwing up, and then fall over, completely conked out.

A little annoyed with the fact that his illusion didn't exactly work, he started to wonder what to do. It would be easy for him to avoid another shot this time around, from the distance, so why would she try firing again? He entered the Void again, rushing towards her in an effort to end this quickly. When he exited at a moderate distance he could feel his body ringing, knowing it was time to act fast. The shade in this desperation continued to run over, trying to smack the girl in the face with the hilt of his blade, falling over after his attempt.

Ravana, being a little faster, dodged to the side just as he fell over. She had gotten him! But she kept it up for a little while later, to make sure he was knocked out. Then, when she was sure he was down, she turned him over. Then, she kicked him in the crotch. "Jackass," she said. She looked at his sword. "Well, I got into all the trouble for it," she said. She took it up, with it's sheath, and put it in her back pack. It was slightly hanging out, along with her blast sword.
Then, she picked him up and slung him over his shoulder. He would be unconscious for a little bit, so she had time for this one. She went to the slave trader.
Slave Trader: And what would this be?
"Worker slave," replied Ravana. She got paid for the slave, who they took away, and then left. She already had enough of this planet, so it was time to hop a flight out of here as soon as possible.
Exit Ravana.
OOC: Also, since I am a bounty hunter here, I use my feat to take 10% of your credits for beating you ^.^

The slave traders decided there was a better place to put a worker slave to use. They took him off to work somewhere else, presumably a mine of some sort. On the way to the port Chax woke up, and it seemed these traders were rather foolish for not restraining him. He warped into the Void, out of the brute who was carrying him, and reappeared near his ship. Quite a nice coincidence. He hopped in and took off, rubbing his head. The shade noticed his blade was missing, making him snarl slightly at first and yet turning into a laugh. "Well, well, have fun with my sword," he said to himself.
