I guess this has been a problem to me for a while, but now that I have to create a new character it has rose up to my attention. Anyways...
So far I only see two different viable character choices if you want to be all mighty and powerful. A Force beast or a non-Force super soldier. I for example want to make a melee fighter who only gets assistance from the Force, but it does not seem viable in the current set up.
My problem really lies in Toughness and Conditioning, and perhaps the other stat changing feats too. Non-Force users get a major advantage because they are able to take these much more often than Force Users. A level 2 non-Force character would be much more powerful than a level 2 Force character. This is coupled with the fact that non-Force users only have to worry about 3 stats.
Hopefully you understand my problem. Here are my proposed solutions:
A. Make Force users and non-Force characters get feats at the same rate, or closer. Even better...
B. Get rid of stat changing feats like Toughness and Conditioning, and perhaps others.
C. Whatever you suggest.
