Copied straight from Wookiee. Maximum speed (atmosphere) 1,300 km/h (higher speeds possible with deflector shields on)[1]
That is from the A-wing page.
Also not quite sure how the mandalorain forces got to the surface so fast but ok..... I'm sure my A-wings would have arrived first. OOC
IC:
The A-wings where pushin their speeds, and being a bit faster then the E-wings had gained on them before the Mandalorain fighters had even arrived.(if so his other fighters would have already arrived as well.)
Hot on their tail as the E-wings made their turn to head back to cover they made the sharp turn with them and got a lock on them being almost right on their tail, it was easy to get a lock while tailgating them. 4 A-wings had slowed their speed to match that of the E-wings and tailed them, firing two concussion missles each. Ther ones however did not slow down in case the missles did not hit and pulled up near the ships to bump them off their flight course. The back one was bumped by one from above to try and get the E-wing to slam down into the ground. The two other E-wings where rammed into the side to try and make them smash into eachother, while the last one was hit from below. The last 2 A-wings who hadn't gotten to bump or shoot concussion missles followed about at the same pace of the ones who had getting their locks to fire a second volley, while firing their two lasers only after the missles had hit or missed, and then the bumpers where off a clear distance.
Meanwhile the remainning fighters of Lord Nanashi's group finally arrived at the surface and created a sort of flying permieter should they try and snake out. The warbird in space started to come down towards the circle should the fighters try and shoot straight up into space. The other ships moved to the darkside of the planet using their sensors to pick up any anaomlies such as changes in the atmosphere, from when a ship or ships enter or leave the atmosphere. They didn't expect to find the stealth ships but it was worth a shot.
Nanashi's ships that were fired at by the FAC just ignored the light fire against it's shields which was barely nothing like Ash had said. They continued to ignore his FAC working on their sensor scans.
OOC I would also stop DMing this fight Mik. Whether the missles blow up or not, or laser fire hits you for the breifest of moments, whether the ships are faster with shields on, and whether or not we can get a lock. That is up to for Gall to decide thanks.
