The Harbinger exited hyperspace over the fourth moon of Yavin Prime, the massive capital ship consuming the sky over the jungle world. Nanashi's Longsword emerged from the hanger bay and descended down with the two Dark Lords in tow to the surface of the moon. The ship settled down outside of an ancient Massassi temple built among the thick jungle. Cain stepped off the ship and glanced up at the temple silently before heading inside.
The interior of the temple was dark and damp, but strangely lifeless for a structure built in the midst of a jungle. The dark side was powerful here, creating a void from which the surrounding life retreated. Cain could feel the Sith holocron he had taken from Korriban begin to stir as he stepped deeper into the temple.
"It's here," Cain said, suddenly stopping. Appearing then behind Nanashi and Cain was an apparition, the spirit of the Sith Lord Naga Sadow.
"What is this?" The spirit asked with a snarl, "What morbid curiosity has brought the two of you to this place?"
"We've come seeking the power of the ancient Sith sorcerers," Cain answered plainly.
"Ha!" Sadow laughed hoarsely, "This power is not for children. I suggest you leave before get yourselves in over your heads."
Cain was silent for a brief moment, his gaze locked on Naga Sadow as he spoke, "Lord Nanashi. It seems he needs some convincing. Try and leave the temple standing."

Lord Nanashi crossed his arms for the duration of the trip and then when Cain spoke to him, he unfolded his arms.
"I thought this place might use a sky roof." said Lord Nanashi as on hand rose up in the air as the temple began to rumble. Suddenly a large chunk of the ceiling fell down straight towards Sadow. Leaving a doppleganger behind he entered the void almost right afterwards. The doppleganger put his hand out crushing all the chunks of the ceiling together in one block, as the real Lord Nanashi exited the void his arm pulsating darkside energies as he punched straight into the rock....

The spirit of Sadow had vanished and reappeared itself, snickering at Nanashi, "Heh, that all the more you can do? Throw a tantrum? I'll teach you children some respect..." With that Sadow reached out towards Cain, sending a blast of pure dark side energy at him. Cain was somewhat caught off guard by the rapidity and intensity of the attack, but still managed to raise his hands in time to begin to absorb the energy. Noticing what Cain was doing a scowl formed over Sadow's face as he began to intensify his attack.
"You're in over your head, boy!" Sadow snapped at Cain.
"Hmph..."
Suddenly an army of mutilated Massassi warriors appeared all around Cain and Nanashi. With sharp claws they charged in at the two, but Cain remained focused on Sadow's blast. Thrusting his arms forward the dark energy pulsed back towards Naga Sadow and impacted the Temple's wall, shaking the entire structure.

Lord Nanashi gave into a smirk the rocks in the pile he had made burst outward in every direction along with a massive force wave sending them all flying back. "Take your best shot, and make sure it's a good one." said Lord Nanashi to Naga Sadow. He crossed his arms waiting for Sadow's next move.
"Prepare to feel the power of the darkside, boy." said Sadow as he raised his hand firing a similar blast at Lord Nanashi hitting him straight on which sent him flying backwards insinerating the cloths he had on him as he slammed against the wall behind him. He turned to Cain now, his Massassi warriors starting to come back and surround Cain. "You'd best leave now before you share a similiar fate as your frie--"
Sadow's sentance was interupted by a cackling laugh that came from the direction of where Lord Nanashi had been blasted to. Massassi warriors were flung in every direction once again as a massive darkside force aura unveiled itself. Tendrils of the darkside could be seen swirling around Lord Nanashi as he feed off the pain inflicted upon himself, the Massassi, and the natural darkside energies. His body was mending itself from the burns and a twisted smirk was held upon his face.
"No, I think you need to be reminded of true power." said Lord Nanashi as he lifted his hand unleashing a hellish force storm blasting everywhere around the temple tearing into rock, Sadow, and Massassi alike, he didn't even focus the massive display of power knowing that if worse came to worse Cain could just drop into the void.

Seeing Nanashi begin to go into 'Dark Side Rage', Cain brought his hands together and closed his eyes, a Protection Bubble forming around him through the force that shielded him from Nanashi's lightning.
"Lord Nanashi, ignore the Massassi," Cain said calmly, "Sadow's illusions lose their potency when the mind is able to identify them," Cain then reached into his robe and brought out the holocron he recovered from the tomb on Korriban, "You will teach us what you know. If you refuse then I will take what I need from you. You will not enjoy that. It will not be pleasant," Cain opened his hand, revealing the holocron sitting in his palm to Naga Sadow.
As the dust finally settled from Nanashi's attack Naga Sadow seemed quite angry at Cain's demand of him, "How would a boy like you even begin to know how to use something like that..."
"Appearances can be misleading, old man," Cain replied, "I would have thought a master of illusion such as yourself would already know that."
"Hmmm..." The spirit cringed, seeming to have difficulty bringing itself to admit any sort of defeat, "Am I to believe that you are the heir to the throne of the Sith?"
"You could say that..."
"I could say that? Certainly an odd way to turn a phrase. What do they call you, boy?"
"Cain. This is my apprentice, Lord Nanashi," Cain answered, his defenses still up in case the Sith tried to attack again.
"Well, Cain, Lord of the Sith, the power of Sith magic is not something you simply learn. It is an ability that only comes to the very gifted, those who have an affinity for the dark side itself. What makes you think you're fit for such things?"
"There has never been one more fit for such a power," Cain responded, his expression never wavering, "Whatever it is you have to teach, my apprentice and I are more then capable of using."
"Hmm... we shall see," Sadow answered, "the use of Sith magic involves rituals and incantations, some more complex then others. These rituals delve into the depths of the force to summon arcane energies that twist and warp the world around them... come with me..."
The spirit then began to move, heading out to the entrance of the temple. It sat down in front of the temple and invited Cain and Nanashi to do so as well.
"The first spell I will show you is 'Summon Darkness'," Sadow began, "this will do exactly as it suggests and summon darkness over a foe or group of foes, not only tormenting them with feelings of fear and despair, but snuffing their connection to the force as well."

"Trust me, you haven't seen that half of it." said Lord Nanashi as he continued to follow them on the way out. His expression seemed much suited to Cain's own with only a bit more humanly expression. There was still a slight smirk to his face as the technice was described. "So what your saying is this technice grabs your opponent by the balls. Interesting. You mentioned rituals and incantations....."
Lord Nanashi moved to stand next to them side by side looking into the sky for a moment and then back down to Sadow. "The only way your going to find out if we are suited for this is to tell us your secrets, and how to preform them. This 'Summon Darkness' I hope isn't the only secret you have...." trailed off Lord Nanashi as he waited for Sadow to continue what he had been saying.

"Hmpf, watch it boy. I still have a few tricks up my own sleeve to deal with you." said Sadow as he moved before them raising his hands into the air. Lord Nanashi noted two armlets with bright red rubies on each hand of his. "I hope you know Ancient Sith or this could take quite a bit longer then you expect."
"I've studied more languages then you could imagine." simply stated Lord Nanashi as he waited for the demonstration. Naga Sadow turned back to outside and suddenly began an incantation which Lord Nanashi quickly took note of and logged it into memory. The sky began to grow dark as clouds blotting out the sun began to form above them and the surrounding forest. It seemed to fall upon everything beneath. Lightning flashed above as a wave of pain fell across Lord Nanashi and Cain. Neither of them flinched at the pain however and instead seemed to revel in it. It only seemed to boost their connection with the darkside as they feed off the pain of themselves and each other. After a moment Naga Sadow turned back to them and the sky began to clear up.
There was a clear smirk upon Sadow's face when he saw that Lord Nanashi wasn't quite holding the same condescending look. However his determination was still displayed, and it unnerved Sadow slightly.
"My turn then." said Lord Nanashi stepping up before Sadow and raised his own hands. Sadow backed up from Lord Nanashi.
"Only a rare few can use Sith Magic without the aid of Synthesis Cyrstals powered by the Darkside. I suggest you obtain some before trying." said Sadow, but to his surprise Lord Nanashi just put upon his mask of Nihilus and turned to him.
"I carry my source of darkness with me at all times, watch this." said Lord Nanashi as his shadow expanded around him and a pathway to the void opened up beneath him. He began to chant as he absorbed Kuragari from the void, and his pull was great. Lord Nanashi flared up like a beacon of the darkside as the presence of the dark clouds reformed causing a stir among the forest this time. Lightning cracked through the sky ever so often, and animal's in the forest began to scream and run around like a madness had fallen over them. Then suddenly the dark clouds began to lift slowly from the scenery. He turned back to Cain and Sadow his eyes hidden by the mask.
"It looks like I can use this power... the true power of the darkside." said Lord Nanashi as he then waited for Sadow's further instructions.
"It seems I underestimated you two, you may be more powerful then my previous apprentice... yes perhaps." said Naga Sadow who looked out to the forest which was finally calming down. It was a curious technique the one Nanashi had used, for he had never seen one such as that before. It was like a hidden source of darkness. "Let use move onto the next technique then. It's called Force Blast."

Cain observed and committed the incantations needed to summon the darkness to memory. While under the darkness Cain had felt an odd surge in his own strength, the usefulness of this technique was already quite clear. As Sadow then moved on to demonstrating "Force Blast" Cain focused in on the ancient Sith once again.
"You've shown your ability to conjure the dark side in our battle earlier," Sadow began, "the Force blast calls upon similar energy used as a projectile to obliterate a foe," lifting his hand the energy became visible around Sadow's arm, glowing a deep red color before blasting forward and smashing a stone wall still standing behind him. Afterward Sadow's arm seemed to be burnt, but he showed no signs of feeling any pain.
"Very similar to the 'Demon's Fist'", Cain said aloud, summoning up dark side energy into his hand, "though maintaining proper control over so much power could prove a challenge..." Cain closed his eyes, his hand still glowing with dark energy as he tightened his focus. As he extended his hand the energy exploded forward, not in a solid beam but instead like a buck shot carving scars in the trees and ground in front of him.
"Hmph... that may need some fine tuning..."

Lord Nanashi nodded and watched Cain try and preform the technice. He observed that Cain's however wasn't quite like that of Sadows and instead was a spread shot. "Control... It's all about control." said Lord Nanashi as he off handily raised his hand. "Power is nothing without control."
Lord Nanashi focused now, he summoned the Darkside to his hand but now began to focus it condense it, and then once he felt that he had drawn enough energy to one point he let his consentration falter at a single point so it would blast out that direction straight into the trees. His arms however did not look burnt, though his Kumori gauntlets looked somewhat worn. They however where black, like the rest of the suit of Anemos had worn so it was hard to tell.
"This technice will prove useful, especially against those not aware of how to counter it." said Lord Nanashi, he almost seemed bored by the display.

"Your powers are impressive," Sadow commented, stroking his short beard, "it took my last apprentice a great deal of hardship to cope with that ability. The next technique is the Spell of Concealment. This will allow the conjurer to hide or cloak the presence of one or many individuals with the force, similar to the Immersion ability..."
As Sadow spewed the incantations required for the spell Cain watched carefully. Slowly Sadow began to vanish, his presence no longer detectable even through the force. 'The Immersion ability isn't a literal cloak, but instead bends the perceptions of its targets in order to conceal the user,' Cain thought to himself, 'this ability should be doing something similar.'
Closing his eyes and bringing his hands together Cain rhythmically began to repeat the incantations that Sadow had used. As he chanted the force seemed somehow to know what was being asked of it as Cain slowly faded away just as Sadow had.

Lord Nanashi watched as each of them disappeared. Quite curious for the ability of Immersion he believed was different then this one. One could find someone in Immersion if they looked hard enough, and with Lord Nanashi's knowledge that Cain and Sadow had to be close by for they had just disappeared he could not find a trase of them through the force. It was as if they had vanished. He began to mimic the words he had commited to memory now and started to feel the force winding around him, as if alive and bending reality to his will.
"Amazing, it's as if we are altering reality.... much like the Elders of Tishi, could alter the forces of nature to their bidding." said Lord Nanashi as he allowed the illusion to fall around himself. It was quite different then Kakuremino he had learned amoung the kumori ruins.

As the spell lifted Sadow and Cain came back into view. Sadow was silent for a moment before nodding slightly, "You have done well, though I am afraid my power is dwindling, I cannot maintain this form for much longer. I will leave you with one last incantation. You have my holocron, should you need my assistance or that of another, the power to invoke spirits will bring them to your aid. Remember, the spirits power will become more potent the closer you are to its final resting place... I will remain with the holocron for this reason..."
After demonstrating the incantations the spirit of Sadow faded away, its power spent for the time being. Cain returned the Sith holocron into his robes silently and stood back up, taking a deep breath of the thick jungle air before glancing upwards. The Harbinger was visible in the sky against he backdrop of the gas giant Yavin.
"Well... I suppose it's time we returned home," Cain said finally, his eyes still trained upwards, "We would not want our enemies to grow too fat and complacent in our absence..."

"Their hopping from system to system was the last report like we even care about the blasted people, the only thing they've done is talk about peace and then throw chaos into the streets of Coruscant. Not a convincing way to win over the people of the empire might I add." said Lord Nanashi after he had collected his thoughts. He looked up following Cain's gift. "I thought you'd like it. It grabs most people's attention."

"I could care less about what they do with the people of the Empire..." Cain responded casually, "once they are crushed those people will have but only one option anyway. In the mean time they can waste all the energy they desire." Cain then pulled up the hood on his robes and headed back to the shuttle that would take the two to their ship... and back to Coruscant.

A wry smirk crawled across Nanashi's face. "If only the poor bastards knew..." said Lord Nanashi trailling off, he could feel something stirring in the force. His clone hadn't checked in for a long time. He would have to make a check on him soon enough, but for now it was time at last to return to Coruscant.
