Give me equations not creative words! PLAIN SPEECH IS GOOD! I got this idea talking to Mik, when he said one of the member's spelling was atrocious. I wasn't picking you out of the crowd buddy but the good news is you vented it out. Ok everybody the storms past! you can come out now!

As much as I say on the computer using Microsoft Word for my fan fic stories have heard of spell check. And a shortcut key to using spell check is F7 on the keyboard which is faster to use than selecting a word to see if it is spelled right. Like Crazy O said spell check does not catch all the spelling errors if you write something in Word and run it through spell check. You can add words *like character names for example* in Microsoft Word and save them in the spell checker so you don't have to hit the ignore button. Don't know if you can add words to the spell checker here though. I don't use the one on here because I don't know what the button looks like *I may have seen it or overlooked it*. I always *well 99.9% of the time* use Word to make my posts and then post them here. That would help with the spelling issues maybe.

I did not know there was a spell check function here. I generally use the spell check that is built in with my Firefox browser. As I type, it highlights misspelled words and underlines them. Then all I do is right click it and it brings up a menu of the word as it is supposed to be spelled along with any other variations that would be considered along those similar lines. So, I just type all of my posts in the quick reply box at the bottom of a thread and let the spell checker do its work as I go.
Of course, I always read it over after I post, just to catch grammar errors and any misspelled words that the spell check might have given me instead of the one I wanted.

As much as i like the quick reply box, sometimes when my post exceeds that box I like the reply button a whole lot better. No idea why, but that's where i type most of my posts. The spell check is right next to the preview button which is next to the post reply button. I'm not quite sure what reset does but i'm betting it deletes all text... just a second i'm going to try it.
*copies text first*
*pastes*
Yep i was right. XD
