The Warbird Archos dropped out of hyperspace above the planet of Ilium. It was scouting the place where they would be building a few new factories. Karite looked down at the world below, he had taken quite a conquest in the money making business. He was slowly creating a small fortune off on the side. Even without the Empire's help he was doing quite well for himself. He had even commissioned the Super Star Destroyer now being used as Lord Cain's base of operations.
After a scan of the planet they found a facility had already staked a claim here upon Ilium, dishing out spare parts. Karite gave thought to leaving them alone for awhile but then made up his mind.
"It's about time we start to bump off our competitors." said Karite as he motioned for the ships to exit the hanger bay. He personally went to his X-83 and started to fly to the surface. Their mission was to destroy the opposing factory on this lush planet. If he could control the main commerce planets it would be easier for the empire to maintain control over the galaxy as a whole.
Flanked by two A wing fighters he headed down to the surface of the planet not directly heading for the facility for they where here to scout after all. Two groups of four XJ3's headed out form the Warbird as well in different directions. They flew around the planet a bit but they all soon turned towards the direction of the facility.
"I don't know who you are Hutch, but I don't think your going to like me building my own facility on top of your old one." said Karite as the fighters came from three different directions at the facility. As they got within torpedo ranged they waited to get better accuracy by being closer about half distance before firing sets of proton torpedoes into the facilities walls. Twelve missiles soared in from the south, and twelve from the north west, while from the east, Karite armed his missiles firing two of his own into the building.
"I wonder if they have alarms...." said Karite connecting back up with the Warbird and sending picture data from their overhead runs. He would have to evaluate were to place his facilities soon enough. All his fighter's spun around in a wide arc coming around for a second time to level the rest of the place with Laser fire.
