The Intrepid jumped out of hyperspace, but it was under Akira right now as Hope. She was on the bridge, and no one would question why she was here. There were many ships coming and going that no one could keep track of them all. She walked over to Communications and aligned their comm disk with the large shipyards.
This is Captain Akira Rumo on the ship Hope requesting permission to dock. Captain this is the Shipyard Patrol ship Lavaliere. What is the business of this docking? Some fuel, and possibly some modifications. I haven't quite decided yet. Well, permission granted. Welcome to the Kuat Shipyards. Over and out. [/i] Akira smiled as she walked away from the station, heading to the docking bay. Yumi was there, as her usual human body. If you were smart, you would get me a HRD body, instead of me being a holodroid. But if I did that, would you be as good at what you do now, or would you rather keep your looks? Looks of course. Well, maybe I will buy you a new body, for use when we aren't working. Have everything ready? Yup, and I even grabbed some sound dampening stealth belts. Perfect, lets get a move on, thenAkira felt Hope dock with a shutter, and she opened up the airlock once the pressure was equal. This mission may go faster and smoother than she first thought. Next stop, a cantina.[/center][/sub]

And why dont we just do what we were planing on? Because this is faster and perhaps better.
Akira checked her cloaking belt and looked over at Yumi, who had the form of a human male security officer. The real officer was out cold in the corner of the rather small storage closet, next to an almost naked human female, his partner. She was also out cold, and her clothes were now donning Akira's shaply form.
The officer was slightly smaller than her, but the clothes fit reasonably well. She picked up the security pass from a shelf, and tucked it into her pocket. Her and Yumi's discuise should allow them to get in and out of secure places with relative ease now, so long as Yumi did any handpring and rentenal scans.
Akira tugged on her sleve, pulling it down, then made sure her pink hair was up in the newly formed bun. Making sure that the real securty officers were going to be out for a while, the two left the closet, and after a short trip down a long hallway, were mixing with a mass of people.
Akira checked the data pad she picked off the man, showing his routes, and she matched the destinations with a map of the station. One of the last ones led right by the meory core, and her target. Already, she was thinking of a plan. Yumi was her ace in the hole on this mission. All that they needed now was a techie so that Yumi can 'steal' their face, download the memory, and be gone without a trace. [/sub]

The run-around leading up to the memory core gave Akira and Yumi much insight on the large space station. Even if they were in a small area, it was still much more massive than she could believe. She was use to building and corvettes, so she was getting the feel for this place.
Half way through their runs, they reached a security checkpoint, but the man behind the desk must have reconised Yumi's discuise, and had the doors opened for them. As they walked through the door's, akira spied a small holonet transeaver hidden under the desk, because she heard faint sounds, and him try to hide a laugh.
Well, though that checkoint, Akira and Yumi continued on their routes, biding their times getting to the memory core. [/sub]

Akira, have I even told you how much I hate you and this belt? Once or twice. No lets get a move on before more troopers decide to try and find us. I think we are nearing the memory core.
Five minutes ago, Akira and Yumi reached a second, more secure, checkpoint. Yumi had the proper ID to get in. Unfortunatly, Akira was caught as a fraud and now the both of the wer0 invisible running away from all the securty officers.
It tended to happen to them, but Yumi's pass still let them deeper into the shipyards, and if it stop working, there was always the famous lightsaber. Two of them, to tell the trurh, plus the blasters they 'picked' up.
Yumi, how much farther until we reach the memory core? About half a click total. well, lets get going.
Akira and Yumi continued down their little access shaft, heading in the direction of the memory core. [/sub]

Slowly but surly, Akira and Yumi made their way towards the memory core complex. They were forced to move very slowly, and Akira had to even cloud their minds so they could easily sneak past, even if they were invisible.
Eventually, they made their way to the well secured and heavily guarded memory core. Several guards had the only door in or out covered, but there still had to be some other way around. They looked to the door from the access corridor they were standing in, pressed against a wall. They could wait out the time, or they could try to break in.
Yumi, sneak around back and see if there is a way there. If there is, light signal me only.
Akira's whisper was nearly unbearable, but Yumi herd it, her being a droid, and started to sneak around the guarded door and to the other side of the complex. [/sub]

By the time Yumi made it back to Akira, the intruder alarm silenced itself, or someone decided to. Yumi also picked up the disguise of a technician, and Akira only knew because the man's eyes were the shade of pink that Yumi's always were, and also her looking into the secluded place Akira was hiding.
After showing proper ID, Yumi walked into the sealed memory core, waiting just long enough for Akira to get through the door just before it closed. She was still invisible as she walked to a control panel, placing a data pad of her own into the slot. Yumi was keeping the only other technician busy away from her.
Akira's hands were a blur as she worked as fast as she could without tripping any sensors. Yumi would be better at getting the information, but she was busy being the distraction.
After about three minutes of working, Akira finally started downloading the core. She started with her main target, the R&D information. Any other relevant information that was connected to the information files were also downloaded. To make room in the memory, Akira transferred all the files to the nearby Intrepid.
Much of the information was downloaded before the next alarm sounded off. Red lights flashed in the enclosed room, and Akira knew it was time to get the hell out. She sent a small, encoded virus into the system, erasing what she has done, pulled out her data pad, and fallowed close behind Akira and the second technician. Now they had to get out before they were caught: easier said than done. She wished she knew what that alarm was, but, then again, she didn't wanna know. [/sub]

Just like she predicted, getting out was going to be harder than getting in. The shipyards were on high alert, and, just to be safe, Yumi ditched her disguise. Now both Akira and Yumi were invisible winding their way out of the complex.
They were stuck on traveling down the access ways, just to avoid the security team and possible a droid. It was better to be safe than sorry. Slowly, the duo were heading towards the awaiting Intrepid
They were forced to make a short delay as they dropped out of an access hatch into a remote alley. They were invisible still as they made their way to the mass of people who seemed unaware of the alarm deeper inside the fortress.
They dropped the illusion as they neared the mass of people, and were washed away. Their mission was now fully complete, with much of the memory core downloaded into the Intrepid's memory core, which she will transfer back to her data pad and erase the copy on the ships.
It was a short walk to the awaiting ship, and they managed to get on board, passing up three security groups, one of them consisting of a 'sniffer' droid. Luck was on their side as nothing happened. Maybe they weren't searching for them.
Once back inside the Intrepid, Akira ordered the ship to leave at a moderate pace. When they were about to jump, they were hailed by the shipyards, but it was ignored as they jumped. Akira smiled as they probably found a small recording of her, or Yumi, or possibly both.
She was safe, for she had her bases covered. She would play it by ear the next time she came back here, but now she was on her way to Zeltros to deliver her data. [/sub]
