Ryuu's ship exited hyperspace in the Dromund system and cruised into orbit over Dromund Kaas, the third planet in the system.
"The dark side festers on this planet... and yet still it teams with life," Ryuu thought to himself as his ship began its decent into the atmosphere. His remote floated over to his side, beeping at Ryuu.
"The planet is pretty much all oceans and swamps... there are no landing pads," Ryuu replied to the droid which beeped and buzzed some more, "Don't worry... I'll improvise."
Ryuu's ship rocked and creaked as it lowered itself through the swampland's canopy, cracking branches on its way down. The ship touched down with a loud splash followed by silence in which Ryuu and the remote remained still. Then the ship began to lurch to the side, finally coming to a stop with its left side sunk into the muck.
"Another happy landing..." Ryuu commented, popping up out of his seat and exiting the ship, followed closely by his remote. The air outside was thick and humid. Though it was night time, the area was fairly lit by the light of the planet's two moons.
"That presence... the temple is not far, I can feel it," Ryuu said as he began his hike through the bogs.

The dark swamps of Dromund Kaas teemed with life. The dank mucky world, though influenced so heavily by the Dark side seemed to thrive even more, as well as its inhabitants. Cautious eyes watched as the ship landed, concealed in by the scrubby bushes and moss covered trees. The sounds of the swamp surronded Ama as she carefully moved through it, closer to the ship. A figure stepped out, resembling that of the Lord Cain. But, no that wasn't right. The force around him, something, was all wrong.
Gently she moved, carefully climbing up into the trees, moving between them as she watched the imposter heading towards the Temple, her home. The dark green Twi'lek woman all but melded into the scenery above her, clad in dark greens and browns. In a flash and soft buzz her saber flicked on, the woman launching herself out of the tree to the ground, saber held to Ryuu's throat. "You're face is that of Lord Cain's, but you are not him. Tell Ama, who might you be?"

Pressing onward through the muck, the remote droid suddenly stopped and began to beep at Ryuu who also stopped and turned his head to the droid, "Calm down, its probably just a swamp wampa," Ryuu called back, though as soon as he turned his head forward again, a crimson lightsaber blade had ignited across his neck.
"You're face is that of Lord Cain's, but you are not him. Tell Ama, who might you be?" the mysterious Twi'lek woman asked.
"And what if I am Cain?" Ryuu responded, his lightsaber quickly jumping up off his belt and hitting Ryuu's hand in mid stroke as he ignited the blue blade and swung it upward all in one motion. Ryuu knocked Ama's lightsaber upward and jumped back away from his attacker, "You sure you know how to use that thing?" Ryuu asked, twirling his lightsaber slowly before taking a Makashi stance.

Ama smirked, her saber flipping back into her hand and reigniting. "For one, Ama knows Lord Cain wouldn't bother with such petty fighting. He'd finish Ama off quickly, not even bothering with a saber." She said pulling herself into a a Djem So stance.
"Ama knows her Lord Cain's way. Ama studies him closely. As well, your eyes are wrong." The Sithling stood her ground, awaiting the imposters first move. "Are you the clone that escaped? Ama knows of him too. The girl took him, Lord Cain was very displeased. Ama hopes to bring him back for him."

"Hmph, shutta... you talk too much," Ryuu answered, "Let your lightsaber do the talking," Ryuu used the force to wrap around Ama's ankles and pull her down into the bog while at the same time moving in close, elegantly spinning and swinging his lightsaber at his opponent, attacking her with minimal effort. Ryuu also used the force on the bottoms of his feet, to help give him more solid footing on the moist planet's surface.
Ryuu's remote also moved into action, upping the power of its blaster bolts and firing at the Twi'lek girl from the side.

Ama fell over as the Force wrapped about her ankles, dragging her into the bog. Rolling about to avoid Ryuu's strikes, she gripped a tree root, jumping and breaking the control around her ankles and swinging up out of the bog, onto a nearby branch. Whipping her saber back out towards her the green skinned woman jumped out, propelled by the force back to the solid ground. Whipping the saber about she slashed again, twirling and spinning, not quite with the same grace and fluid motions of the master.
The little remote droid firing off at her caused her to jump for a moment, turning a quick hand extended, Force pushing the annoyance into the nearest tree. Snapping quickly back to Ryuu she Force pushed him hard, using all her energy to crush him into the tree behind him.
"Call Ama a shutta again, boy." A malicious grin spread across her face. Dromund Kaas' snake was truly enjoying herself.

"Not nice to pick on my droid like that," Ryuu said, sliding backwards then from her force push but maintaining his balance using the force on his feet. As she charged at him Ryuu raised his lightsaber letting Ama's slam down against his, the two blades crackling and sparking as they pressed into one another. Ryuu let his blade slide down Ama's towards the hilt of her lightsaber to try and hack the hilt and even her arm in two.

"Not nice for your droid to fight dirty. If you ask Ama nicely, she might fix it for you." She said with a smirk, slashing back into his blade again. The sabers hissed and crackled in unison. Seeing the blade slide down towards her own, she jumped back, but in time. Ryuu's blade slide right through hers, shorting and killing it.
Dropping the two pieces, a merciless look across her face she jumped up into the nearest tree, crouched like a feral cat on the branch, she pondered her options. Now saberless, and far less adapt in the force than the stranger before her, options were limited, other than disappearing into the swamp.
"Ama is no coward." She muttered, more to herself than anything. No she wouldn't run away, not yet.

Ryuu chuckled to himself, a short smile on his face as he deactivated his lightsaber and put it back on his belt, "And if you ask me nicely I may fix that lightsaber for you," Ryuu said, opening his hand and lifting the two halves of Ama's lightsaber to him with the force before placing them into his robe, "You fight well, but your blade work needs polishing... if you truly intend to serve my master then maybe you'd be willing to help me with something."
As Ryuu spoke he moved over to his remote and picked it up out of the mud. The droid let out a long exhausted sounding buzz, "I know," Ryuu said quietly to the little droid, "It's my fault. No worries, I'll watch your back next time."

The Twi'lek girl gave Ryuu another suspicious look. "Ama never did receive an answer to her question. If you serve Ama's master, than you can't be the clone that ran off with the Jedi girl." She said, sitting down on the branch, looking down at Ryuu as he retrieved his little droid.
"Are you another clone? More faithful than the last Ama hopes." Her feet dangled from the branch, just barely skimming the murky green brown water. "What business do you have here?" Her voice sharp and to the point as she stared down in the water, green toes just barely dipping beneath its surface.

"I'm no clone," Ryuu answered, "I'm the real deal. My name is Ryuu Drake. My father has sent me here to find the dark side temple on this planet... and also one of the Ysalamiri that live in the trees, though locating the little lizards can be difficult considering their unique gift."
Ryuu brought Ama's lightsaber out of his robes again with the force and inspected the two parts, aside from the obvious damage to the hilt the only problem was a cracked lens. There probably was a spare back on the ship, "So now that I've answered your question perhaps you can answer one of mine," Ryuu said, "What exactly are you doing here in this swamp... and how do you know so much about Lord Cain?"

The reptilian girl smiles, jumping from the tree to the ground before Ryuu. "Please to meet you, Ryuu Drake. Ama lives in the swamp and trains at the temple. She can show you were it is. As for Ysalamiri, Ama has seen none. If it is a service to the Lord, then Ama will have no choice but to help you." She said with a decisive nod, turning back towards the thick of the muggy swamp. A thin gray fog misted over the area.
As she walked a pattern of brownish diamonds covered her back, exposed by the loose and skimpy amount of brown cloth wrapped about her. She walked with light feet between the trees and through the muck, truly within her element.
"Ama owes Lord Cain everything. Ama was a slave when she was young, Lord Cain and his followers killed her master and saw potential in her. 'The Force will set me free' the followers of Cain told her. Ama follows the Lord dutifully, learning everything he has to teach. But Lord Cain is far too busy to trouble himself with Ama, she knows this. So Ama came here to train and surrond herself with the force, the darkside. Ama likes it here." She added, leading the way.

Ryuu placed the lightsaber parts back into his robes and followed behind the Twi'lek girl, listening quietly as she told her story. It wasn't long before they came upon the Dark Force Temple, its spires extending upward towards the moons and casting cold sickly shadows down upon the swampy landscape. Ryuu smirked, still totting his remote under his arm as he stepped up to the temple.
"There is a stillness here," Ryuu observed, "not anything calm or serene... more like the stillness of the dead. The force is strangely absent..." Ryuu could feel the wound in the force created by the dark side here... but even still, it was nothing compared to what his master had made of Coruscant. Ryuu was eager to enter and learn from the teachings of the ancient Sith. Cain had sent Ryuu out to learn of the dark side on his own, there were many worlds that Cain had suggested, but Dromund Kaas in particular appealed to Ryuu. He wasn't sure quite why... but things seemed to be becoming clearer.

"There she is, Ama's home." The Twi'lek girl said, staring up at the overgrown temple, all but sinking into the muck of the swamp. The stillness, the wound of the Force was one of the many reasons she thrived there, the deep isolation she had put herself through by living there had taken its toll, but it too had its benefits.
Leading Ryuu up the steps of the Temple, into the great entrance hall that lay mostly in ruins, the swamp had begun to swallow the temple itself, the scrubby plants and vines weaving through the stones and tiles within, Ama motioned a green arm to their surroundings. The only thing signifying it as anyones home was a pile of blankets set up in the middle of the floor, and few of her more personal items spilling out from an old worn backpack. Ama ran over to her palet, stuffing her things protectively into her bag. It was obvious she wasn't expecting company.

Ryuu didn't mind the mess... he was actually expecting worse. He left his droid with Ama before going to have a look around. The teachings of this temple were literally written all over the walls. Reliefs depicting ancient Sith covered the walls of the catacombs. These reliefs showed a lightsaber form that even Ryuu did not know, a seventh lightsaber form. Sith teaching were forbidden from the Jedi library, but even so during his travels Ryuu had encountered some of the original Sith language. He recognized it here on these walls.
"Juyo" the inscription said, "The ferocity form. Demanding in terms of energy used due to a broader focus and deeper utilization of emotion..." Ryuu was eager to learn about this new lightsaber form, one the Jedi had sought to keep hidden but the Sith used and taught freely. The form was vicious and required the user to revel in his own inner darkness, to enjoy the chaos of battle. It was clear why the Jedi would hide this from the young padawans.
There was also debris that litered the room, mostly useless, however some appeared to be parts from lightsabers. The Sith probably once used this area as a training room... stains on the floor that Ryuu paid little notice to before now occurred to him were probably left by blood. Ryuu searched over the lightsaber pieces, finding little that was usable. One piece however held a lens that still seemed in tact. Ryuu sat down on the floor, allowing the pieces of Ama's lightsaber to float in front of him with the force. He removed the cracked lens from her lightsaber and replaced it with the new one, then bonded the two halves back together using the heat from his own lightsaber.
With Ama's saber finally repaired he called for her to come join him, igniting her lightsaber and holding it in front of himself, staring into the red blade, "I think it may be time that we improve on that blade work of yours..." Ryuu said.
