The blue lightsaber snapped to life as the Temple doors were sealed shut by a mere thought from the boy. He turned his attention back to an unidentified Sith occupying the platform along side the Captain.
"I don't think you're ready for that yet. Why don't we have a little fun out here first?"
The child's voice seemed devoid of emotion. There was no compassion in his movements, no hint of mercy or conscience in his words. For a child, he seemed cold and distant, his innocent visage only serving to mask a darkness that lurked within him, waiting to be released.
Sergeant Prescott reacted to the sight, raising his rifle as he took a few steps forward, putting himself between the Captain and the child.
Janus acted quickly, placing a hand on the Sergeant's shoulder as he stepped up next to him. "Stand down, Sergeant...." He calmly ordered.
For some reason, he felt compelled to observe this child. Almost as if he were some kind of science experiment, Janus could only watch, his mind deep in though as he tried to unravel what such a being would be capable of. He had seen his fair share of corrupted individuals, but the innocents of a child.... To see it utterly destroyed, ripped away only to be replaced by an anger that belied a sadistic desire to inflict torment on his enemies. It was repulsive, yet fascinating. Part of him felt sympathy, but part of him was more interested in seeing what such a boy was like.
"Don't do anything drastic, Sergeant." Janus added, his voice low and distant as he took a few more cautious steps forward, watching the boy intently.

"You both underestimate me..." Cain replied, the slightest of smirks curling at the corners of this mouth, "I assure you that the traitor is already being dealt with as we speak... and what makes you think your training hasn't already begun?"
The figure of Cain disappeared into the darkness, almost instantly reappearing behind Ashley and Kayen, "Your tasks for this first test are simple," Cain said, a black core blue lightsaber igniting from his robe's sleeve, "don't... die... show me the lengths you are willing to go for power," Cain glanced at Ashley with a sick smirk on his face, "You my dear are going to require some extra motivation."
With that the force suddenly slammed down on Ashley's left forearm, a focused telekinetic attack designed to do one thing; pulverize the bone in that area of the arm. After that Cain calmly turned to face Kayen, "Show me the same mercy you showed your father... Iridonian."
Outside of the Temple the boy grinned from ear to ear as Janus hesitated, "Are you afraid already?" The boy taunted. The area around the temple started to grow dark just as it had before with Ashley and Kayen. The darkness grew heavier and heavier, seeming to close in around the landing platform, "I've not given you anything to be afraid of... yet..."
The boy disappeared as the darkness surrounded him. Quickly Janus was alone in the dark. Cain's illusions were, as always, an effective distraction. Cain was already in Janus' head, the illusions were proof enough of that. From the pitch blackness around Janus several men in white jackets surrounded and slowly moved in on Janus, "Time for your medicine... Captain."

The remarks struck Janus as strangely foreboding, if not maniacal. He pulled away from the boy slightly and furrowed his brow when a sudden darkness began to envelop his senses. His vision was the first to go. The Temple, the Sith, the boy, Sergeant Prescott, all of them began to gradually fade from view as if a cloth had been slowly pulled over his eyes.
His decent into darkness seemed almost instantaneous, and before long he was alone in a void with only his thoughts. His pulse quickened, despite his best effort to remain calm. Beads of sweat began to proliferate on his forehead, running down the bridge of his nose as he drew in a few steady breaths. Every sound seemed to echo and resonate in his head.
"Time for your medicine... Captain." The voices rose up around him, surrounding him on all sides.
Janus spun, "Who's there?" His words were shaky, his tone drowned in a steadily rising fear.
Soon, several men in white coats emerged from the inky black surrounding him, syringes held in their hands.
He could feel their eyes piercing into him as he turned frantically in all directions, only to find any hope of escape cut off. "G-g-get back! Get away from me!" He reached for his side arm, "I'm not going to be your lab rat again! You can all burn in hell!"
His hand wrapped around the grip on his pistol as he ripped it from his holster. Janus held the blaster at arms length, nervously aiming the muzzle towards the doctors. There were so many of them, though. He couldn't take them all out, it wasn't possible. In reality, there was only time for one shot, then the others would be on top of him in a heartbeat.
Step by step, their circle closed in on him, constricting him and confining him. Janus looked to his pistol, time for only one shot.... There was an option, a way out. It wouldn't take but a second, and those doctors couldn't react in time to stop him from making that choice.
His mouth felt dry, his heart thumping out a deafening rhythm in his ears. Janus shook his head, that wasn't the way. He'd rather go out fighting that die a coward. "Go to hell!!!!"
He took aim on the first scientist in front of him, firing a single bolt from his pistol at the man's chest.

The scientist hit burst into flames, taking one painful deep inhalation of air as his flesh seared away. The others behind Janus grabbed his arms and legs. One of the scientists stepped up in front of Janus, slipping on a pair of rubber gloves, the final glove being applied with a snap. The scientist's eyes were exactly the same as the boy's... cold soulless yellow eyes.
"Shhh shhh shhh," The scientist lightly stroked Janus' cheek with the back of his hand in a feeble attempt to calm the man down, "It will be all over soon..." he said, reaching out then and placing the palm of his hand on Janus' forehead. Though it was all an illusion, the act of reaching for Janus' head was in sync with Cain probing deep into the Captain's subconscious. Melding with Janus through the force Cain began to draw the life from the man, "Debilitating... isn't it?" The scientist commented, "Even the mightiest of men can be paralyzed by fear. You can continue to deny the power of these emotions... but in the end it is your choice, Captain. You will either use them, or be used by them."

As the first doctor evaporated into a plume of fire and ash, Janus prepared to turn himself to face the others, but he soon found himself restrained as the others behind him rushed him, grappling his arms and legs, holding him in place against his will. He struggled against their hold, fighting against them with all of his anger, fear and hatred. He grit his teeth and shouted back to the men.
"Let go of me!! You have no right to do this!!"
One of the doctors moved forward, pulling a pair of tight rubber gloves over his hands with an audible snap as he appraoched.
Janus tried to pull away from the man as he drew in closer to him, but his limbs felt frozen, locked in place. No amount of thought or force on his part seemed capable of breaking their hold over him. He eyed the scientist with a vicious stare, pulling his head back as the man uttered meaningless words of comfort to him before placing a hand on his cheek. The feeling lingered there only for a moment before his hand moved to his forehead.
"You bastards!!" His words echoed in the void, but ultimately fell on deaf ears before he suddenly felt a sinking feeling overtake his body. His heart seemed to slow, his blood almost felt like it was running cold in his veins.
"Debilitating... isn't it?" The doctor's words being delivered with a twisted sense of calm. "Even the mightiest of men can be paralyzed by fear. You can continue to deny the power of these emotions... but in the end it is your choice, Captain. You will either use them, or be used by them."
Janus felt the man feeling his way through his mind, touching his every memory, feeling his every emotion, knowing his every thought. He breathed heavily as the man's presence seemed to echo in his mind, inciting something deep in the back of his subconscious to crawl forward. Suddenly, it felt as if though his mind was not his his own, his thoughts felt deviated, sprawling beyond his fears and evolving into something else before more words bled into the sensation.
"We have hate.... That is all that exists. Hate for them.... Hate for the father." The voice paused momentarily as a vision entered into Janus' mind, the vision of a man just like him, but clad in a black uniform, his eyes lifeless black orbs that reflected something evil in his heart. "Well.... We don't need to worry about the father anymore, do we? We were strong enough to deal with that.... Now, do we possess the hate to finish what we started? I think we do...."
The man remained still in the darkness, unflinching, his expression unchanging as he seemed to be holding a conversation with.... Janus?

The scientist smiled, listening only to begin with to the conversation Janus was having with himself. He lowered his hand away from Janus' forehead and as he did Janus' limbs were freed as well. All the other scientists had vanished.
"You have hate?" The scientist asked with a twinge of morbid curiosity in his voice, "How very interesting... show me..." The darkness around the two began then to lift, but they were no longer on Coruscant. Around them now was the Valley of the Dark Lords on Korriban. The intensity of the illusions Cain was able to create only grew stronger the longer he was allowed to feed on his victim's subconscious. The dim light of Korriban's star, the stale taste of the valley air, the cold chill one felt in the presence of the tombs of Korriban... it was all there.
The scientist removed his white jacket. Underneath his chest was ravaged by deep scars, many of which had not properly healed and still leaked thick blood. His arms were machines, his flesh was as pale and parched as the sun baked valley floor, his hair was long and had gone gray from years and years of life... and still the cold eyes. The scientist had become Cain.
"This..." he began... "this is my hate..." He stood over the body of a man wearing a blindfold. The man had been slain very recently, blood was still pooling around him. Cain extended his hand and the fallen man's lightsaber jumped from his corpse and into Cain's mechanical grip, a black cored blue blade igniting from it, "Now show me yours... or join with mine!"

The arms of the other scientists relinquished their hold on his arms and legs, dropping him carelessly from their grasp. As Janus fell forward on to his knees, the dark shroud around him diminished, revealing a parched valley floor on a deserted planet somewhere far from where he had been. Where had he been, though? The Temple? It wasn't possible, but it felt so real.
A cold wind brushed over the nape of his neck, kicking up a small plume of dust as he slowly stood again, raising himself to his feet to face the scientist.
Janus felt the last warm embrace of Korriban's dim star on his skin as it set behind a distant mountain range, casting long dark shadows over the emaciated landscape. He glanced to the waning light of the star before shifting his attention back to the scientist. But, as he set his eyes on the man again, he was stunned to see that it was not the same man.
The doctor had seemingly transformed into some kind of grotesque creature that was an amalgamation of flesh and machine. Unhealed wounds dominated his chest, oozing thick blood onto his skin. His mechanical arms appearing to fit loosely into the sockets where shoulders would have once rested.
The sight was more than enough to elicit a feint twinge of nausea in the Captain, but that sensation was soon replaced by a feeling of revulsion as the impact of the oddity began to have its effect on him.
"This... this is my hate... Now show me yours... or join with mine!" He commanded, walking to the recent corpse of a man with a black blindfold over his eyes before he extended a hand and called a lightsaber to his palm, igniting it in the process.
Janus swallowed hard, suddenly his uniform felt as if though it were choking him. The anxiety, the worry, it was all so powerful. Reaching a shaking hand to his throat, he undid the top button on his tunic, pulling it off to the side in a bid to give himself some room to breathe. He looked to the man, his long gray hair fluttering in the breeze.
His body had no scars, how was he to show him his hate? A thought he was on the verge of verbalizing when something shifted in the back of his own mind. Janus reacted with a slight twitch, cocking his head off to the right as he held his eyes tightly shut.
"No...."
"Yes.... Do you want this or not? Show me you are worth this life!" The voice inside his mind spat its words to him in anger, the hollow visage of his clone appearing to him in the dimness of his mind.
"I...." Janus brought a hand to his head. There was such pain there now, throbbing, unimaginable pain that he had never experienced before. A slight ring shot through his ears, deafening him and blotting out his perception of events until it had control over him again.
As Janus lowered his hand, the pain seemed to cease and he shifted his head back to the man, a sadistic smirk playing on his lips. "My anger is not something that can be seen.... They left me with no scars. They hid their tracks, afraid of what they had done, afraid to see it for themselves." Janus seemed to stare absently beyond the man for a second before he looked back to him.
"No.... My anger, my scars, they are here." He said, placing his index finger on his temple. "They are here, and they will not go away!" His last sentences became progressively more violent in its tone as he clenched his teeth. "Do you think I enjoy this life?! Sharing one body with two minds?! Its exhausting, the battle between weakness and anger."
"These scars....They will only leave when those responsible are dead!" Suddenly, a more complacent look came to his face. "Or maybe they wont.... But there is only one way to find that out."

Cain listened quietly, unflinching as Janus hatred began to show itself. Slowly Cain's bony mechanical finger rose from his side and tapped against his own temple, "You and I aren't so different in that regard... but you already are here. What you see before you is the amalgamation of many scars... both mental and physical. I am pain incarnate. Your anger, your pain must too be made into something real. They inflicted it upon you but what they left you was not weakness, but a chance for power."
Cain's lightsaber then slowly turned in his hand, its blade coming to a stop as it pointed straight in at his already scarred torso, "These scars will only stand in your way until you embrace them. The fear that you feel now, it is of the dark side. Wounds in the force created by these emotions... where they would hinder others, they will give you strength."
Cains blade then plunged into his own abdomen. Though Janus may not have been aware the force meld between he and Cain had brought their minds into one... and what Cain felt, Janus would feel. As the blood rushed from Cain's stomach it too pooled in Janus. The lightsaber's blade, like molten metal searing the flesh, and Cain left it in place.
"Debilitating... isn't it?" Cain said as a drop of blood leaked from the corner of his mouth, "That wound will be fatal in less then ten minutes if nothing is done. However... where this pain would normally hinder others, you will use it to your advantage. You will turn away from your hatred no longer. You will give your pain a face."
Cain's lightsaber turned off and fell harmlessly to the valley floor. The air however had become unsettled, the dark side almost visibly surrounded Cain. He fed from the negative emotions from both Janus and himself, the power of the dark side healing his wound unnaturally creating yet another hideous scar on his abdomen. When the energy finally spiked Cain let out a scream and a blast of telekinetic energy exploded outward. The power was enough that Cain could not contain it all and it began to leak out from his body, creating the cracks in his flesh.
Cain then extended his arm to Jacen, the force being used like a cannon ball to shove him back against the side of the tomb, "Hehehe!" Cain cackled, a total reversal in his calm cold personality he was almost giddy at this point, "If you can't turn pain into power then at least try not to die too quickly, your despair is exquisite!"

Tai walked to the side of the boy slowly looking at him through his helmet as if he were stalking the young boy. "I want no trouble... im just here to find Ashley..." Tai said while moving his hand down to his black hilted lightsaber that had a curved spike at the end, it did not curve completely but slightly which gave it a dark look. Tai got ready knowing the boy would not listen to what Tai had to say, he could sense the boy was powerful and Tai would not take him lightly. Tai was no fool and he was not aggressive he would not fall into this little trap so easily. His metal hand gripped his lightsaber tightly and now he had drawn it but had no ignited it he only got ready by putting his hand on his new silfer hilted lightsaber he had gotten from the jedi he fought on Hoth.

(OOC: It’s been a while since I’ve RPed with the Emperor so I hope this okay what I’m about to do. If not let me know and I can reedit.)
BIC: Ashley watched as Cain disappeared from in front of them and felt him reappear behind them. She listened as he gave them their first test.
“Don’t...die...show me the lengths you are willing to go for power.”
Ashley heard the familiar snap-hiss of a lightsaber igniting and noticed the blue glow from within Cain’s sleeve. She noticed the sick smirk on Cain’s face as he glanced at her and told her that she was going to require some extra motivation.
Before Ashley could do anything she felt the Force suddenly slam down on her left forearm. She had felt something similar to that before when she fought her former ‘master’ Elifain when she had first started her training.
Her hazel eyes suddenly flared with anger as she thought about the traitor and how much now she despised him and she used those feelings to quickly bind her bone back into place before Cain could damage her arm anymore. She quickly reacted by sending a massive Force-push along with a telekinetic wave at Cain to send him flying backwards into a nearby fountain.
“I am a lot stronger now than I was when I first met you,” she said to Cain as she pulled out her lightsaber and ignited her blue saber.

To Tai and the others on the landing pad it would appear as if Janus were having a panic attack or a seizure as he was attacked. For Tai however the boy hadn't moved, his gaze remained locked on him as Tai ignited his lightsaber. The boy didn't speak, he raised his lightsaber up and darkness began to descend on Tai now, moving in rapidly and consuming the city around them. The boy closed his eyes and pair of telekinetic hands wrapped around Tai's neck, slowly yet persistently strangling him with the force.
Inside the Temple the force push Ashley sent at Cain didn't cause any physical reaction, Cain simply disappeared. Reappearing in the same instant standing next to Ashley, his hand wrapped around her forearm where he had attacked before. She was able to use some of her emotions to try and heal the wound... intriguing, but Cain wanted to see how much she had really mastered this technique.
Cain wrapped telekinesis around Ashley's arm again, crunching down to pulverize the bone but this time not letting go. It would be impossible to heal as long as Cain held the crush grip on it. He wanted to see how she reacted to particularly intense emotions, "This pain won't be going away," Cain said calmly, "But pain is not weakness, it is an opportunity for power. Use it... or be consumed by it." A second hand wrapped around Ashley's ankle. It probably was obvious at this point what was about to happen...

Before Ashley could do anything, she felt Cain appear behind her and wrap his hand around her left arm. She knew it was impossible to try and heal as long as he had a grip on her arm. Her eyes flared with anger and she could feel her hatred slowly building up as Cain applied the pressure on her arm and she used the pain as her power and then she used those feelings to quickly bind her bones back into place and she managed to slip her left arm out of his grip.
As the second hand wrapped around her ankle she quickly grabbed Cain’s right arm and applied pressure while using telekinesis to crush his right arm.

"All the power in the galaxy is nothing without understanding..." Cain said softly. Despite all of the disappearing and reappearing and all the illusions she had already been faced with Ashley still was chasing shadows. Even healing with the dark side wasn't going to counter the power of Cain's telekinesis which remained locked around Ashley's forearm like a vice grip. Even if she tried to slip away from his hand the telekinesis remained wrapped around her arm, not allowing her bones to heal, instead pulverizing the arm to the point where it was almost ready to be severed.
As she focused her telekinesis at the Cain by her ankle it did nothing to the clone. Cain's force power had wrapped itself around Ashley's ankle and it too collapsed down, crushing her ankle and holding there so it could not heal. All the illusions vanished now from Ashley's sight (not Kayen's though). They had served their purpose and no longer were necessary.
"You are still weak, you still know nothing," Cain's voice said, still as clear to Ashley as if he were in the room, "Forget the teachings of your former master, he was a fool. Hear only my voice now. The darkness can be used for more then just regeneration... the darkness is power. Put it to good use. Your enemies will not show you mercy while you attempt to feel out the situation, you must act quickly. Your emotions should be a weapon, not a blindfold. The pain will be excruciating. You will not like me. You will hate me, but you will be stronger for it. These emotions that would block the weak will give you strength."
After Cain finished a third and final telekinetic hand began to wrap around Ashley's throat, "Embrace the pain... use that strength now... or die."

Ashley felt the excruciating pain in her left arm and she gritted her teeth and groaned. It hurt like hell, but she was not going to die because of her past teacher’s inability to teach properly. She also felt the agonizing pain of the telekinesis wrapping around her ankle and she could feel the pressure point of it crushing her ankle, however she was not going let that slow her down.
“Hear only my voice now.
“As…you wish,” she said as she embraced the pain and felt it grow powerfully and she used the pain and hatred. Suddenly it became clear to her that this was not the real Cain and that these were illusions of Cain. “You’re just an illusion,” she said as she felt her pain and embraced it as her strength.

A single Y-35 King Cobra came out of hyperspace above Coruscant. The fighter which had been modified for stealth was open transmitting. "This is Angel. I have come to offer my service to the Empire in exchange for their assistance." The massage read.
On the bridge of the Super Star Destroyer orbiting the planet the communication officer to to the Captain. "Ma'am. Message coming in." The communication officer said as he piped it over to her. Meanwhile the sensor officer looked over his shoulder back at her. "Ma'am, the messages is coming from a modified Y-35 Cobra. It is stealthy, but now I have a lock on it I am confused. The ship does not have any life support. Should we scramble fighters?" The sensor officer said wondering what to do. A single fighter of that size could hardly do any damage to the SSD with its shields up.
The Captain looked at the data. "Send response. Fighters will escort you to the Harbinger. Land in hangerbay two. Armed guards well collect your weapons and escort you to the bridge, refusal to comply with any of these procedures well end with you termination." The Captain said to the communication officer the transmitted the message and the security officer ordered a detail to head to hangerbay two. The Captain then pushed a button and called for the Admiral Vhenn to join her on the bridge.
Angel received the messaged and smiled. She flew at the cruising speed of the four TIE-fighters which came in to escort her to the ship. Angel landed and removed the flight uplink plug from her ear before climbing out of the ship. She was wearing her black leather outfit and a small backpack. The guards walked up and looked at her, seeing she was not carry any weapons. "We need to search the bag Ma'am." One of the guards said.
Angel looked at them. "That won't be necessary, I would rather leave it her then have you hurting me pets inside." Angel said as she took off the backpack and placed it back into the cockpit of her fighter. The cockpit then shut and the guards nodded. They lead Angel threw the ship, up to the bridge. She stepped on and noticed two women looking at her. She waited for them to speak first.
