Before Garok could step into the temple he was interrupted by the voice of a stranger standing in the shadow of one of the statues of the four master that graced the Jedi Temple's entrance. He remained hidden in the darkness as he spoke, "I wouldn't be going in there if I were you," The voice said, it was the voice of a young man. It was in no way harsh or threatening, instead quite soothing, quite reassuring, "Where you tread now you will find no Jedi. This place, it is of the dark side... it is of the Sith. You can believe me... I would know."
There was then a sudden flash of dim light from the shadows where the man stood as he lit up a cigarette, as he took a few drags the light partially illuminated his face. The man stepped out of the shadows then, he had messy dark hair and faint yellow eyes. He wore a black jacket that did not hold back the dark colored wings that spread from his shoulders. He took another drag off his cigarette as he examined Garok, "The name's Jack," he said, unflinching, "You know, it's not too late to turn back. There is no reason for you to die here."

Garok was startled a little bit as he heard a voice speak to him from the shadows. However, the kind tone in which it spoke made it hard to be frightened for long. He turned around, looking back and forth, trying to locate the man.
"I wouldn't be going in there if I were you. Where you tread now you will find no Jedi. This place, it is of the dark side... it is of the Sith. You can believe me... I would know," said the stranger. The unknown man then lit a cigarette, which allowed Garok to see his face. He stepped out of the shadows of a statue, revealing large black wings across his back. A Mitsukai! Garok thought. I thought they were a myth... or at least extinct. He had heard little about them except the fact that they had wings and were powerful.
"The name's Jack. You know, it's not too late to turn back. There is no reason for you to die here."
A slight tingle went up Garok's spine. "I am aware that this is no longer the residence of the Jedi. I have come both seeking to serve the empire and to learn more about the force," he said smoothly enough. "Who are you?" He was a little anxious; just who exactly was this man with wings? Why was he urging so strongly that he turn back? Garok figured he would know soon enough.

"Who am I?" Jack repeated with a small smile, "I've already told you. The more pertinent question however would be, who are you? What man in his right mind seeks out a place like this... what pain has driven him spiraling down this path, and if you've come this far... would you be willing to go a little further?" Jack took one last drag off his cigarette before flicking the butt away, his gaze never leaving Garok.

Garok was still a little distracted by the large wings on Jack's back. "My name is Garok," he said, not sure if Jack was trying to intimidate him or simply warn him. Or possibly both. "I have come to this place because I wish to learn about the mysteries of the Force. My family has served the Empire, and I will do the same by learning the ways of the dark side." While Garok had said these things coolly enough, he was in fact nervous about entering the temple. However, he didn't intend to turn back now. "Yes, I will go further."

Jack snickered, what could be interpreted as a grin slowly spread across his face, "The mysteries of the force you say... well then I have just the mission for you," he said softly, "There is a world, just beyond the outer rim where few have ever gone. This world, much like Malachor V, has long been consumed by the darkness of what once occurred there. The planet is called Tishi. Though the surface is all but dead, you will find a creator in the planet's northern hemisphere. Go to this place... and bring what you find there back to me. Do this and you will have proven yourself worthy..."

Garok thought for a moment. He wasn't sure what he was supposed to find on Tishi, but what he was sure of was that there was more to Jack than he had first thought. At this point Garok had no choice but to do what Jack had told him. If he didn't bring this item, he would receive no training. Jack would not allow him into the temple. He nodded towards Jack, saying, "Alright. I will retrieve this thing for you if it will make me 'worthy'," he said. "I guess I'll be going if there isn't anything else." He paused a moment, and then he left and began heading towards the Hanger to leave for Tishi.

Garok's ship entered the atmosphere of Coruscant. Descending down towards the surface, Garok was still breathing heavily. He had his ship drop him off near the temple before it went to land in a hanger. Walking up to the temple slowly, he hoped that he had proved himself by now. Grasping the book in his hand, he ascended the stairs. He went to the same spot he had spoken to Jack earlier and waited patiently, inspecting the book as he did so.

This time instead of Jack a boy no older then 13 was there to greet Garok. He noticed the book Garok held and smiled softly, "Well done... we have been expecting you..." The boy said before vanishing right in front of Garok. With that the doors to the Jedi Temple cracked open, "Use your feelings... you will know where to go," A voice said in Garok's head.

Garok was waiting for no more than a few minutes before he was approached. This time, however, it was not Jack, whom Garok had been expecting. A small boy walked into view, a slight smile on his lips. He glanced down, examining the strange item which Garok held. Lifting his eyes from the burnt, crispy book he informed Garok that he had done well. Garok was told that they had been expecting him. He wasn't sure who 'they' was at this point, but before he could respond the boy vanished entirely right before him. The doors to the great temple creaked open, shedding light on the scene within. It was lit poorly, the main source of light being the open door. Suddenly Garok could feel a presence in his mind; it told him he would know where to go. This is it... Garok thought. He took a deep breath and stepped forward into the gloom.
