Akira stopped a full two steps before Mandalore finally did. She shuttered and continued to reinforce her mental barriers to keep the suppressing dark side influence from making her wince. It was hard enough to resist as it was, and she didn't want to be mentally or physically hurt here today. She closed her eyes, letting her mind fly to a familiar scenery on Corellia: a large tree next to a lake. This was her favorite place to be when she was younger. [/sub]

"A ragtag of rebels? Come now.... surely you can do better then that. Your Empire seems much more worthy of a war," said Mandalore noting that Cain was confident in knowing some of the things that drove the Mandalorians. "I'm not looking for a war that can be won easily, and I'm not sure I'm going to need allies. Unless you were suggesting something else?"

Cain may have known some of what drove the Mandalorians, but Mandalore clearly didn't know what drove Cain. It wasn't important for him to though, his reaction was to be expected, "Do not underestimate the power of the force," Cain warned, "You Mandalorians should know better then most how formidable a foe the Jedi can be. For a man who speaks of honor you do yourself a disservice by belittling an opponent who has proven himself worthy of you in the past," Cain paused, closing his eyes softly as if to let his words sink in a moment.
"I've already given you my word that the opponent is a worthy one and that the battle will restore your clan's glory. If these things do not interest you then I suppose you can go back to ruling your 'ragtag rebels' on your jungle world. The decision is yours, Mandalore. Though I will promise you that the Army of Light will not allow any expansion of Mandalorian territory. There is no room for clans such as yours and mine in their vision of the galaxy."

"There where few and far inbetween jedi that were worth fighting, you must have missed a few history lessons. We almost drove the Jedi to extinction, and the republic soon became a blind bantha lost in the sands of tattooine. Those Jedi that were worthy, were Revan who defeated my Mandalore during Malacor V, his brother Zilfer who died fighting thirty mandalorians on Dxun, Kavar, and a man named Zilfer. Unless your talking about those four, I can hardly see the honor of driving the jedi to extinction." said Mandalore as he looked back to Elifain for a moment. "The force is formidable but not unbeatable. It seems we may have some of that within our own Clans."
Mandalore was quite for a time not responding for a good thirty seconds thinking over what Cain had said once more, past his retorts to defend Mandalorian honor. "I wasn't aware we needed your permission to gain honor." said Mandalore turning back to Cain. "And if there's no room for us in their visions we'll deal with them either way."

Elifain noticed Mandalore look at him, and stood a tad bit straighter, keeping his hold on his mind as absolute as possible. He nodded towards Cain, but said nothing, after stiffling the urge to add a hoorah, to mandalores last comment. He quietly looked around, his mind probing out into the temple, slowly, seeing if there were any others in the building, other than this group, and the man at the enterence who had moved into the temple. He got a sickening feeling, as he sensed a familiar presence, but shoved it from his thoughts, as he brought his mind back to the here and now.

"At the very least Zilfer of Shadows is among the Jedi who now serve the Army of Light," Cain responded, "and I suspect there are those among them even stronger then he." Cain smirked, shaking his head lightly at what Mandalore said after his pause, "You have a funny way of hearing, Mandalorian. I believe I said the decision was yours. I only mean to inform you of the reality your pride has made you too blind to see. If you choose to fight the Jedi alone you will fail again. If failure is your idea of glory then you are welcome to it. I'm offering you victory. That is an offer you will find no where else."

Zilfer working for the Jedi? Somehow that picture didn't fit in his head. While he had known Zilfer he had been a hot headed youth jumping into battle without regard for himself and sometimes others. Not really the quality of a Jedi to say the least.
"And if we choose to fight with you, and not for you I assume none of your underlings will show us any lip. Otherwise their bound to find a metal fist in their faces." said Canderous as he finally put his helmet back onto his head. "If there's battle to be had, you can count that the Mandalorians will be there."

"I assure you, if my 'underlings' do not know their place by the time they leave here... they will deserve any retribution they receive," Cain replied, giving a slight bow of his head to Mandalore, "I look forward to seeing you in action, Mandalore. If there is anything you need, you'll know where to find me. I do not wish to keep you any longer. Angel will escort you all back to your homeworld."
With a crack of thunder Cain then turned to leave, pausing only for a moment to glance back at Elifain, "Good to have you back... Lord Drakain," he said with a smirk that was hidden once he pulled his hood back over his head. Cain then disappeared into the darkness of the Temple.

Elifain sighed, as the alliance was all but said in earnest. He looked to mandalores back without moving his head, wondering what he had gotten himself into this time, before glancing back at cain, catching his welcome. I am with my family, aruetii, not with you... I burnt my bridges, and moved on. He said, with a smirk, using the mandalorian word for outsider.

It seemed like the deed was done: Mandalore forged an alliance with the Emperor. She could only wonder how many Mandalorians would disagree with this, and leave. She herself was finding it hard to believe, as she was pushed from the Jedi Order when the Sith took over. She clasped her hands together at the front of her body and waited for Mandalore to leave. "I'll call when my side is ready." said Mandalore turning on his heel and walking out, turning on his com to Elifain's helmet again, he commented. "Train Akira well, the Empire may be wanting to fight the Army of Light, but I want Zilfer taken alive if he's with them. Once our members are trained we'll have to gather intel on them, somehow I don't think Celestial is going to like the verdict. I've a few questions for that man...."
Mandalore and the party came out of the temple, and nodded to Celestial, HK, and Angel. "Cain says you'll escort us back to Mandalore." was all Mandalore stated upon leaving the temple.

Elifain turned to follow mandalore out of the building, nodding silently, before adding, I'll do my best, sir. He sighed, knowing his next mission will probably be a suicide maneuver for the mandalorians involved, but figured, fuck it. It'd be a fun dance.

Celestial looked at Mandalore as he walked out and spoke with Angel. Angel nodded and gave a false smile. "It is my pleasure to escort you. Once you are all aboard we will depart. The same rooms are still available for you and your men." Angel said as she walked back onto the ship. She headed straight to the bridge. She wanted to get this over with so she could start work on her own projects.
Celestial followed Mandalore up the loading ramp. She had tapped into his comm. system and spoke directly to him without moving her lips so none of the other Mandalorians would hear that she was spying on them. "You do realize even though you ordered me to wait outside; which I don't understand why but that is not important, I did tap into your helmets and communications. We will need to speak alone in your room as soon as we get there." She started out by projecting it into her ear piece. She figured he expected her to do this but she had to make sure he knew.
The two of them walked through the ship and back to his room. Once inside he took off his helmet and Celestial spoke plannly to him. "So why did you do it. And don't give me the crap about the Honor of Battle. You could pick a fight with anyone without throwing the Mandalorian Clans in bed with that monster OR DID YOU ALREADY FORGET ABOUT MYRKR, CORELLIA, THE AMENOS VIRUS. HELL, LOOK AT WHAT HE IS DOING TO CORUSCANT AS WE SPEAK!" Celestial voice quickly rose as she continued. She took a simulated deep breath, which was in her programming to do to show she was trying to get control of herself. "Is this the honor you wanted to build up the Mandalorians with because there is not a scrap of it in his evil bones? I know you can feel it if not see it." Celestial said softly. If it was then the Mandalorians were better off as mercenaries, at lease then they chose who they were pawns for as individuals. Meanwhile back on the bridge Angel looked at the Captain. “Take us back to Mandalore at best speed. I want to get rid of these freeloaders as soon as possible.” Angel said. The Captain smiled and carried out the order. The Sarah Drake lifted off the planet and headed through the storm. It broke atmo after three minutes and the planet gravity well in seven. It then headed out of the system, while it calculated the series of four jumps which would take them back to Mandalore in the lease amount of time.

Garok slowly ascended the stairs of the Jedi Temple, which he knew housed no Jedi. He had grown up on Coruscant, and he thought that the best place to look for training in the force was close to home. Some of his family and ancestors had faithfully served the republic, and even the empire after it. Garok intended to do the same. The mysterious powers of the force were too great for Garok to simply pass up. He came to the entrance of the magnificent structure and walked inside. There was little light. No one could be seen or heard. It was a little chilly as well, but Garok continued a little ways in. After going thirty feet in he stood still. Even with his limited training he could feel strong dark side presences here. Closing his eyes, he thought to himself, I'm not going to turn back now. Opening them once more, he called out, "Is anyone home?"
