A small fleet exited hyperspace on the outskirts of the system. The fleet was led by an Interdictor-Class Cruiser equipped with an SOEIV Launcher. The Interdictor, Krayt, carried Kayen's army. It was small but very well trained, made up of 46 TIE Fighters, 10 Basic Infantrymen, 10 Mercenaries, 1 All Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT), and 2 All Terrain Scout Transports (AT-ST). The 46 TIEs scrambled and ran defensive patterns as the Interdictor approached the planet.
The conn officer looked at the older Captain and spoke "everything seems normal, sir." The aged Captain nodded and replied "good. Check in with the Imperial Base and then establish defensive parameters on the surface. Don't screw it up or Lord Storm will skin us... that is, if he survives The Emperor......"
The first officer nodded and started to issue orders, deploying troops and vehicles to the surface.

Garok's corvette came out of hyperspace above the planet of Korriban. Even from space Garok could feel the massive dark side aura of this corrupted world. The ship continued down towards the surface while Garok reached out with the force in an attempt to locate the source of the dark side aura, the Sith Temple. By the time the ground became clearly visible he could distinguish a large force signature on the planet where the dark side was clearly present. It appeared to be the source of the aura that plagued this planet, although Garok could not be sure. His ship rerouted to this location.
The boarding ramp lowered as Garok stepped out onto the surface of Korriban. This world was truly a desolate wasteland, consumed by the dark side of the force. Only speculations ran through his head as he wondered at the history of this place. He pulled his hood closer to his face as a sharp, cold wind began to blow. He turned his attention back to the task at hand. He was to wait here until Kayen and the rest of the imperials arrived. As he had traversed the landscape on his way here his ship had picked up a small gathering of troops on the ground. Garok had assumed that these were imperials by the few radio signals he had picked up. He had bypassed them altogether as he sought out the Sith Temple, which was to be the barracks for the Sith Army that would soon arrive.
Garok walked slowly across the landscape of Korriban, breathing in the decayed air. He had researched this place a little bit before, but he had never actually traveled here. Perhaps within the temple there would be some form of records that he could study in order to learn more about this place and those who had inhabited it. For now, Garok would be content to meditate within the halls of the Sith Temple as he waited patiently for the others.
He strode up the temple's steps, very similar to those on Coruscant. Strangely enough he found the large door already open. Either someone was lazy or had left in a hurry. He entered, taking in his surroundings. As he ventured forth he caught a terminal out of the corner of his eye. He approached it, taking out a datapad and inserting it. After tapping a few buttons he downloaded a map of the temple. He retrieved his datapad and went farther in. He found himself in the center of a large room, the walls riddled with passages leading this way and that as they wound their way deeper in and around this main room. Garok sat in the middle of this room, feeling the need to go no further in order to meditate. His lightsaber floated into the air in front of him as he focused his mind on the crystal within. Calling upon the dark side within himself and that of the temple, he began to imbue it with the force. This was his first time to do something like this, but he had plenty of time to figure it out. Deep in mediation, he waited patiently for Kayen and the others to arrive.

Kayen had taken a small Imperial freighter from Coruscant so he was a few hours later than Garok. The freighter landed and its crew started to move the supplies into the Sith Temple. Kayen stood up and pulled his black hood over his head, the black cloak whipping in the wind as he made his way into the temple. His missing eye had been covered by a black patch on the trip. As Kayen stepped into the temple, he sensed Garok and he walked towards him. When he entered the room, he stood with his arms crossed for a few moments and then he spoke up. "I have arrived..."

It wasn't long after Kayen and Garok had been sent on their mission that Raiku Vhenn, Supreme Commander of the Imperial Fleet, was given orders to transport what had been gathered thus far of the Imperial Army to the Outer Rim world of Korriban. The Super Star Destroyer, The Harbinger, arrived just after Kayen. On board were roughly 600 troops, recruited from Empire controlled worlds across the core worlds. The troops were shuttled down to the surface, most landing at Dreshdae, the space port that had once served as Korriban's public face during the time that the Sith Academy was training force users not too long ago. It would now serve as a base on Korriban, used for shiping in and out supplies and recruits.
Raiku's shuttle landed last, after all the troops were on the ground. The troops were hurried off into the old academy's dormitories where they would await their basic training. Raiku stepped down from the shuttle's ramp, she wore form fitting black pants and a brown leather jacket. Wrapped over her shoulders was a black cloak that she tugged at to try and remove. She had all sorts of exotic weapons on her person, even a lightsaber she had claimed from a Jedi kill... though she had no idea how to make use of it, it still served as a trophy and a warning to any who might feel their power in the force made them superior to the commander. Her expression was that of fatigue and disappointment as she looked over her surroundings. A scowl forming on her face under her brown curly hair.
"What a dive," She said, finally removing the cloak from her shoulders and letting it drop on the ground for her shy captain to obediently scurry in and gather up for her, "This place looks like hell and it reeks like a dead bantha. I've been here ten seconds and already I hate it. Who's in charge of this dump?!" She shouted, shoving her way through the recruits still shuffling around the space port.

As to troops, most now war hardened and solid in their beliefs that nothing can defeat their empire, stood one, barely older than a child was Richter. Light brown hair, sheared short during basic training stuck up like fuzz from the top off his head. He marched with the other members of his unit swiftly, though his heart pounded in his throat.
Basic training had ended for him yesterday, today began the real thing. Had he made the right decision? Life seemed to always throw you different opprotunities, his Father always said the Empire would always win, no matter how the Jedi and the rest fought, the Empire was bigger. The Empire was stronger, and would crush out rebels faster than they could breed. So there he was no. Joining the Korriban barracks, and the Empire.
Suddenly, being shoved aside by a woman, a rather upset woman it seemed, Richter winced hitting the ground, his unit all but trampling him as they continued to stalk on. Jumping up, the gangly youth winced, watching as Commander Raiku continued her rant and yelling, and with it the boy couldn't surpress a chuckle.

Garok felt the familiar presence of Kayen as he entered the Academy. Garok's saber floated to his belt, although he continued to keep his eyes closed in meditation as he waited for Kayen to come farther in. Kayen entered and after a pause,
"I have arrived."
Garok opened his eyes. He stood up, bowing to Kayen. "Greetings. During my meditations I have just felt the arrival of what must be the Imperial Army." He thought that the army was the only logical solution, considering hundreds of people do not just show up on a desolated world. He began to head for the entrance to the Academy, but just then soldiers began overflowing through the door as they carried supplies and tools everywhere. "Come, let us introduce ourselves to the overseer of these soldiers." He waited for Kayen to nod before heading for the exit. Winding his way down the stairs as soldiers shuffled past him, he went to Dreshdae, where they had landed. Upon arriving there he found it a center of quite a bit of activity with soldiers setting up various stations and equipment. Pushing her way around was a woman who at least thought she was important asking who was in charge. Garok calmly strode over to her, his face expressionless as he answered. "Greetings, commander. My name is Garok Raan. As you are probably well aware, the Emperor has sent us here to be present during the fortifications." He paused now, letting Kayen introduce himself.

Kayen stepped up to the woman as well, immediately sensing that she would be trouble. The Zabrak reached up and pushed his hood from his head to add to his intimidation factor, and then he spoke coldly. "I am Lord Kayen Storm, and WE are in charge here, appointed by the Emperor himself. I assume you are the Commander in charge of this army..." Kayen grinned as he glanced around and then he turned his gaze back to the woman, crossing his arms.

"Oh good, a pair of the Emperor's toy Sith," Raiku said, lifting her arm and exposing her palm as if she were expecting something. There was a momentary pause before the captain standing behind Raiku with her balled up cloak in his arms realized she was waiting on him. With a start he struggled to shuffle through his pockets, juggling around what he was holding with the datapad he removed from his jacket. He lurched forward quickly after retrieving it and placed it in Raiku's hand.
"Took you long enough," she muttered, handing the datapad then over to Kayen.
"I'm sorry, my lady. It's been a very busy afternoon..."
"Hush!" Raiku snapped back at him, "Can't you just take my insults gratefully for once? You should be honored I acknowledge your existence at all."
"O-of course," The Captain replied sheepishly, "Th-thank you, my lady."
"Don't mind him. He's an idiot," Raiku explained, turning her attention back to the Sith, "That datapad contains all the troops that have been assigned here plus the supplies you will be receiving. The landing codes for these Imperial ships are also contained within. If a ship does not have the proper codes they are not to be allowed to land on Korriban. Got it? Good."

Kayen chuckled slightly as he took the data pad in his left hand. His right hand balled into a fist as he gathered the force into his hand. Suddenly his eyes flashed red and he shot his hand forward, unleashing the gathered energy right into the chest of the Supreme Commander's lackey Captain with absolutely no warning. His yellow, messed up teeth were bared as he turned towards the Commander, igniting a single blade of his lightsaber in his right hand and holding it downward ready to strike. "NEXT TIME YOU SPEAK TO A SITH LIKE THAT, YOU WILL BE THE ONE FEELING MY WRATH! You are in charge of the fleet, but down here we are in charge and you will treat us as such... is that clear? If not, you can take it up with the Emperor, I hear he just loves to be bothered." He kept his lightsaber in one hand and the data pad in his other hand.
He looked down at the data briefly and then he deactivated his lightsaber, returning the hilt to his belt. Using his thumb to scroll through the data, Kayen spoke again. "Tell your soldiers to get some rest... they will need it when we start their drills....."

Garok faintly smiled as he listened to the Commander. Toys? And what exactly was she? He stopped himself from answering that question as she turned the topic to something relevant. She handed a datapad to Kayen, saying that it held all that they would need. After glancing at Kayen Garok saw that he seemed a little tense, and when he balled his fist Garok could feel the force flowing around it. Kayen struck the seemingly incompetent Captain and ignited his blade. Garok's lightsaber instinctively flew from his belt to his hand, but he did not engage the blade, instead letting Kayen handle the insult. He kept an emotionless face, eyes staring coldly at the Commander while Kayen threatened her. Garok clipped his saber to his belt, amused with the Commander at this point. So arrogant, and yet without her title she was nothing. Garok remained silent as Kayen seemed to be communicating all that was necessary.

Raiku didn't flinch as Kayen sent the Captain reeling. She raised her eyebrow to him as he yelled at her. Once Kayen had finished she struggled to hold back a smirk, her lips curled upwards and finally she couldn't hold back her laughter any longer.
"Hahaha! You Sith are priceless," She said, wiping tears from her eyes, "Tell me again, the part about how if I keep it up you're gonna tell the Emperor on me. OoooOooOo, scary Sith is gonna tell on me," Raiku continued laughing until she was red in the face, finally collecting her self with a deep inhale, "Oh, that was worth the trip. Seriously though, if you try and touch me or raise your voice to me again you'll be dead before you even realize how deeply your horned head must be wedged up your tight Sith ass for even entertaining such thoughts. Captain!"
The captain was sprawled out on the ground, stunned by Kayen's assault. Raiku moved over to him and gave him a sharp kick in the ribs, causing him to grunt loudly, "This isn't break time, get off your ass and take my things to my quarters."
"Ugh... y-yes... my... l-lady," The captain barely managed to utter. Picking himself up and shuffling off.

Garok was a little surprised when she was unfazed from Kayen's show of force. Clearly she would have reacted differently if Kayen had chosen to strike her instead, but this was not the time and most definitely not the place for that. Garok felt his emotions rising inside of him, his hatred for this commander growing quickly. He masked his anger, however, keeping a cool face as her face turned red. She gave Kayen an earful in what seemed to be her usual manner, afterwords quickly turning to the captain and continuing to abuse him verbally and physically. While there was more to this woman than simply a large title, she was clearly blinded by her arrogance and status. She did not fear Kayen or Garok, that much was clear. If she ever found herself without an army of hundreds at her beck and call, she might see things a little differently. Garok knew they would have simply put up with her, whether they liked it or not. At least for now. This conversation appeared to be over, and Garok glanced at Kayen, seeing if he would respond to her taunts or let it be.

Kayen gritted his teeth but he just turned and walked away, holding the data pad quite tightly. He was furious as he headed back to the Sith temple. When he was sure they were out of range of the others, he glared at Garok, his voice cold. "We kill her... in her sleep. We make it look like an accident, after all this is Korriban, home to the nastiest critters in the galaxy..." Kayen grinned slowly as he stepped into the meditation chambers of the temple and he motioned for Garok to join him. As the door shut behind them, Kayen asked "do you know of the Hssiss here?"

With weary eyes Richter watched the confrontation between the Dark Jedi and the Supreme Commander. Was this what everyone in the Empire acted like? Oh dear, what had he gotten himself into? Shaking the thought away, he left their presence, for fear of angering the Zabarak too. How could someone with such a short fuse be a higher up? Didn't you need some level of control when it came to the Force?
"Shut up, you're over thinking again." Mutter Richter darkly, resting his head against the warm calloused palm of his hand. The dorms, thats where he needed to go now. Tomorrow the real fun was supposed to begin, with higher up like that, he'd be lucky if he ever got off Korriban again.
Wandering through the barracks he checked his room assignment once more on the datapad they gave him. Looking it over he found the room. 51TH. Taking a deep breath, the young man entered the room, preparing himself for any hulking room mate that might be hiding inside, ready to kill him in his sleep, it was Korriban after all.

Garok silently followed Kayen back into the Academy. While he too felt hatred for this Commander, he hadn't let it show during the conversation. He knew that making a purposely bad impression on the Admiral of the Imperial Fleet was not a wise decision, although it had appeared they had done so anyway. While this might hurt them later he didn't exactly feel the worst about it due to the nature of the supreme commander.
As they walked Kayen proposed that they kill the supreme commander in her sleep. Garok would indeed like to be rid of her, but now was not the time.
"A bold move. I would say too bold, at least for now. Besides, we need her to do whatever got her into that position with the fleet. Once her usefulness has ended..." He didn't finish, considering that they both knew. Only time would tell how this assignment would play out.
As they approached the meditation room Kayen led the way in. Once alone on the other side he inquired whether Garok knew anything of the beast that roamed the planet.
"A fair amount. Not all, of course, but I've read about them briefly and have a general idea. What do you have in mind...?" He asked, curious what Kayen would do with a wild beast native to Korriban.
OOC: Since the conversation ended I went ahead and posted... sorry if this was out of turn.
