Aiden had just unpacked his things when his roomate arrived. A tall skinny kid, probably even younger then he was at 19. Aiden had arrived on Korriban like most of the troops, aboard the Super Star Destroyer from Coruscant. Aiden had spent most of his youth on Corellia, that was until the viral scare that killed a large portion of the planet's population. After that he and his family were moved to Coruscant. Having only heard stories of the grandeur of the Imperial City, Aiden was quite disappointed when he actually got to see it. Coruscant had degraded into anarchy and the slums where he was sent to live were writhe with violence and crime.
Aiden had acclimated himself to his new surrounding rather well, however. Proving his toughness to one of the local swoop gangs and joining their ranks. He was eventually arrested on murder charges when he and two other gang members raided the hideout of a rival gang. The three of them alone took down 50 rival gang members, though once the fighting ended, only Aiden was left standing. This display of strength didn't go unnoticed by the powers that be on Coruscant. Aiden was offered a deal to join with the Imperial Army in order to avoid jail time. Anything was better than the prisons on Coruscant, so Aiden agreed with little hesitation. Before he knew it he was loaded onto The Harbinger and shipped out here to Korriban.
Korriban was a desolate world, dry and cold almost all the time. The inside of the dorms reflected this and the tastes of the Sith that had once used them. Everything was made from stone, there was no color in the walls, nothing to give any sense of life. The beds were just stone slabs jutting out from the walls that lacked any sort of bedding. Aiden had used some of his spare clothes he'd packed to act as a mattress while he reclined. When his new roommate entered he sat up immediately. While this kid was scrawny, Aiden was no body builder. He was a bit shorter then most of the others his age but what he lacked in height only added to the chip on his shoulder.
"So this is the Imperial Army huh," Aiden said with a sarcastic tone as Richter entered, "A short street tough and a scrawny prepubescent kid. The Federation will be trembling in their boots, I'm sure."

As Richter looked over his new 'home', and his roommate a sigh of acceptance escaped his lips. Better to just roll with the punches. "Prepubescent? Ouch." A stray hand running over his chin. It had been over a week since he shaved, and yet still little in the way of stubble, a light chuckle rolled out into the room.
"Don't worry, my mother told me my voice was going to change any day now." He joked. "When do you expect you'll be hitting your growth spurt?" Richter smiled back a he tossed his bag onto the stone slab, before hopping on top of it, giving Aidan once over before propping his long legs up on the bed. What he lacked in mass, he had in height and with it, speed, Richter had easily outrun every kid in the neighborhood, back when Coruscant was still the bright shimmering city world it was in its glory days, a skill that proved its usefulness often in the Coruscant of today.
"I'm Richter Kruegar." The boy said with a quick nod of his head.

"Aiden," he answered, spinning around to let his legs dangle over the edge of the bed. They were just barely long enough to let his boots touch the floor, "This is some shitty planet," Aiden observed, glancing around the dorm room, "If this is what the outer rim worlds are like I'm not sure why we're even here."
Truth was nobody was quite sure why they were there. The Empire was mobilizing, building up its armies and fleets. But for what, the troops could only speculate. Rumors among the others on The Harbinger were that they were being sent to conquer the outer rim. Even more outlandish rumors stated that they were being sent to fight an army of Jedi, but those sorts of things Aiden dismissed quickly as absurd. Though despite it all Aiden had not expected something like this. There was something very unsettling about this place, Aiden hadn't felt comfortable since they landed on Korriban. A feeling had washed over him after his boots first touched down on the surface as if someone... or something had been watching him. Something with a murderous intent, savoring its victim's last moments of life before moving in for the kill. But the kill never came. Instead just a feeling of uneasiness that followed where ever Aiden went.

Kayen growled softly as Garok swatted down his idea, but he shrugged his shoulders as he dropped down to his knees. He shut his eyes and appeared to be meditating but he continued with his idea about the Hssiss. "Well we have a whole group of trainees who we're supposed to train... and the Hssiss are extremely dangerous, so I think we should pick out a small group of these greenies and make them capture one, alive..." Kayen grinned slowly and then he added "I've always wanted a pet lizard......"

Kayen began to meditate, not responding to Garok's thoughts about an attempted assassination of the commander. He brought up a very interesting idea... having the trainees capture a Hsiss, alive. A slight smile showed on Garok's face as he realized that such a task would be perfect for a new group of fresh soldiers. "Sounds good to me," he said, sitting down. He closed his eyes, beginning to focus. Korriban's corrupted aura fueled the dark side presence of the academy, making it feel like the temple on Coruscant. Garok immersed himself in the dark energies as he started to meditate.

The Majestic-class Heavy Cruiser Ezekiel Rage exited hyperspace above Korribon with Angel on board. She stood on the bridge and surveyed the position. She could not believe it. "WHAT A CLUSTER FUCK!" Angel said, "We well never secure victory with this type of organization. Captain, you are ordered to drop me off and then return to the Fleet above the capital." Angel said to him before turning and heading off the bridge. She thought to herself that with just the Nimitz and its fighters she could destroy the entire navel force and bomb the military forces one the planet below. She could literally wipe out a majority of the Empires fighting force.
Angel continued to shuttle and took it down to the planet. She did several fly overs the base and was still unhappy. They were using Dreshdae as a base. Why not just put a big sign that says "Please bomb me back to the stone age." Angel took several breaths before landing on one of the landing pads.
She exited the shuttle before it returned to the Ezekiel Rage. Angel walked over to one of the ground troops stationed nearby. "General Angel of the Imperial Military. Who is of this disaster soldier?" Angel said.
The soldier quickly saluted and answered her question. "Supreme Commander Vhenn ma'am." The soldier said.
Angel pinched the bridge of her nose to show her aggravation. "Take me to her right away." Angel said as she picked up the small bag that contained her civilian clothing, personal items and other equipment that she normally did not carry while in her military uniform. Angel was lead to a the Head Quarters building which was the old Sith Academy. The soldier open the door and they both walked in. She was then lead to Raiku private quarters before the troop ran off hoping not to be anywhere near by when Raiku was interrupted. She knocked before entering. She walked up to Raiku and saluted. "Admiral. General Angel reporting as ordered." Angel said. She was following military protocols, but she wanted to get it over with to talk about this disaster which she just entered. She figured this young women had no command experience let alone combat experience. They needed to get to work right way if this was not going to turn into disaster of biblical proportion.

Stretching back over his 'bed', Richter propped his bag up as a pillow, round brown eyes peering up at the dust colored ceiling.
"So you get a chance to see any of the people in charge on your way here? I caught a glimpse of Supreme Commander Vhenn, man do I feel bad for her assistant. I hope thats not what I'll be lookin' forward to when I make Captain." His feet dangled off the edge uncomfortably, something told him he'd be spending many a night on the floor rather than the slab.
"And how about some of those Dark Jedi? That yellow Zabarak one, I'd hate to meet him in a dark alley." Shaking his head, he began to relax some.
"Korriban ain't so bad. I mean, its better than Coruscant. It's got that same feeling.... but theres nothing to run from, no worrying your building is going to be destroyed during some Sith practice. It could be worse." Richter comforted himself, it could certainly be worse.

Private Blithe Set foot on the dusty, withered surface of Korriban, exiting a landing shuttle at the head of a group of other men from his unit. He hated his place already, and he hadn't even been on it for more than five seconds. The wind stirred up dust that irritated his eyes and stung at his skin. The sun parched the landscape and baked him in his military issue fatigues as other men from the shuttle brushed past him, rudely nudging him forward as they bumped his shoulders.
Letting out a low sigh, Blithe shook his head and stared absently at the ground for a second. "I hate this damn place." He muttered to himself. "Join the Empire, they said. See the galaxy they said.... My ass" He finished, reciting the header that he had read on a recruitment poster that he had seen once back home on Anaxes. At the time it seemed like a good idea. His career wasn't going anywhere, and the Empire had an academy firmly established on anaxes, so he would never have to be that far away from home.
But once war came, he was deployed with the rest of his unit. At first it was kind of exciting. He got to see a few new worlds, got to meet some new people, there was a clear sense of purpose to his life. Even if his mother didn't approve of it, he still enjoyed it. But now, now he's been part of the military for four years and it was starting to get old, fast. Each new deployment was always to some backwater, slime-pit of a world, not the least of which had been Coruscant. What a dump that place had turned into.
Shuffling forwards with the others, Aaron entered into the barracks. He hadn't expected much, and these barracks didn't offer him anything more than that. Their beds were little more than stone cots that didn't look big enough, or comfortable enough, to accommodate even your average soldier. The walls and ceiling were weathered, displaying cracks in certain places where they had either been neglected or simply never constructed properly. It was a sad situation, but as a soldier, he didn't expect much at all in the way of comfort or amenities. The only silver lining, at least this time they'd have a roof over their heads.
Moving quietly into the barracks, Blithe picked out a cot for himself. Slinging his pack from his shoulder to the bed, he sat on the edge of the slab and scanned his surroundings.

Kayen smiled and lost himself in feeding from the dark side energy of Korriban for a good while. Finally, he stood up and started to walk away from Garok, heading for the largest room in the temple. It was time to see exactly what the hell they had to work with. As he reached the room, he moved to the computer terminal which had been set up by now and he punched the intercom to the barracks. "This is Lord Storm! All soldiers in the barracks report immediately to the central room of the temple!!! The last one to arrive will be punished....." He grinned as he shut off the intercom and then he waited, his arms crossed.

Garok could feel the dark side flow around him. It was everywhere on this planet; after setting foot on Korriban's soil one had just taken a step into a graveyard of great Sith buried long ago. Their power could still be felt, and tombs riddled the Valley of the Dark Lords. Garok was deep in meditation, wondering at the Sith, whose faint presence he could sense, that had practiced the ways of the dark side many years in the past. Garok wished to learn even more about them, in time. He supposed that there would be some form of records and histories stored within this academy, something to read when there was nothing else to do.
He opened his eyes as Kayen arose and left the room. Garok chose not to follow for now, instead looking at his datapad and beginning an attempt to memorize the map of this place. It was a series of large rooms, winding halls, small dorms, and various other rooms scattered throughout the Academy. Some areas were given a detailed description, such as dorms, training rooms, and the like, although others were only given a diagram of the room. Garok tried to get a feel for this place, seeing how it was going to be home for a while.
He glanced up as he heard Kayen's voice being projected through speakers located near a terminal within the meditation chamber. After rising, he strode over to the terminal and began to tap a few buttons as he located where Kayen was speaking from. On the map it was a large room nearby, which Garok began to head for. He opened the door and walked down the gloomy and quiet halls. Even with a large number of soldiers in the academy, all were quiet as they unpacked their belongings and began to get used to the dark feel of Korriban.
The door slid behind Garok as he entered a large room, the roof far above his head. It had little in the way of furniture, instead being almost empty, the only decoration the stone pillars rising to the lofty ceiling. He walked over to Kayen, nodding to him but saying nothing. Garok also stood in front of the terminal and remained there, waiting for the soldiers to arrive.

"At ease, General," Raiku answered to Angel as the Captain finished laying out her things before quickly hurrying to her side and clicking his heels together at attention. Raiku knew why this droid was here... her position as Supreme Commander was only temporary until the Emperor could find a suitable replacement. But was this Angel really it? Though she enjoyed her position of power, Raiku didn't really care. When the actual fighting started it would become far more trouble then it was worth anyway.
"The installation of the Planetary Shield and the Anti-air turrets around Dreshdae and the academy are just about complete," Raiku reported to attempt to assuage any concerns the General might have had, "they should be operational before nightfall. Also I've been told you have extensive combat experience. We'll need that here. Most all of the troops are green and in need of some basic combat training."
Just then Raiku was interrupted by Kayen's call to assembly in the Academy's main chamber. Raiku rolled her eyes upon hearing his voice, "Does that ignoramus always have to be so loud? I get the feeling that I'm gonna have to be the one that kills him before this is all said and done..."
Aiden lurched off his slab when he heard Kayen's announcement over the intercom. He'd hoped they would be given at least a few hours to relax after that long trip from the core, but it seemed they would have no such luck.
"I guess we better get moving, I don't know about you but if this is where they expect us to sleep I'd hate to find out what their idea of 'punishment' is," Aiden said, slipping on his plate armor and gathering up his blaster rifle and two frag grenades, the standard issue for all basic infantry. Once he was set Aiden led the way out of the dorm, hurrying quickly to the Academy's main chamber.

Angel smiled. "Good to know Admiral. I am glad that some defenses are being in placed. Later I would like to talk about your plans should we be attacked. I just like to be on the same page ma'am." Angel said respective, recognizing that even though she did not like taking commander she had to walk on egg shells to when making suggestion.
When the Sith Lords voice came over the radio she pinched the bridge of her nose. "Stupid Sith don't understand anything. You can't punish someone for just being last, you need to give them a time limit and punish those that are late." She said. These Sith would be problems for the chain of command. She turned to Raiku and gave a little smile. "Let’s see this Sith punish me. I will be the last soldier to report in. Excuse me ma’am." She said as she reached into her bag and removed her sonic blaster and disruptor pistol. She then put on her backpack with her hard shell ysamlari in it. She was not going to let these Sith walk over the soldiers for no reason.
Angel saluted her commanding officer and walked out of the room. She walked down the hall and listen as the soldiers arrived. She waited at the edge of the hall keeping track of all the troops coming in and forming up. Once they all the troopers arrived she stepped around the corner and yelled to Kayen. “SITH! I am General Angel and I am the last soldier. If you are going to punish a troop for a retarded reason it will be me. That is if you can.” She said as she drew her sonic pistol and pushed her way to the front of the troops. She would show this Sith that he was not so strong. That for all his power would not walk over the Imperial Forces for no reason.

Gav, a small chazarch who had been assigned to sho'kan as a servant/advisor; slipped off of the star destroyer with the five elite guards unnoticed. By the time he had gotten into the building a man came over the intercom and gav had a hard time making out what he said. Gav only knew so much of the language kayen spoke. He followed the orders and came to the main room of the temple. The five guards with him were obviously assigned the same person. They reached the main room and stood near the back hoping not to be noticed. duty calls.....

The soldiers had filed in, most of them groaning quietly as they complained about being called so soon. Many looked like rookies, just coming from their homes. There would be quite a bit of work to do, but it wasn't exactly in Garok or Kayen's skillset to train ground soldiers for the Imperial Army. Kayen had summoned the soldiers and Garok had merely allowed himself to go with the flow. He was fairly certain their reign over the recruits wouldn't last long, especially with a commanding officer like Raiku.
As the last soldier came in, she turned out to be none other than General Angel. As she entered Garok's connection to the force abruptly ended, causing him flinch ever so slightly. The force has ceased to flow when Angel had walked in, and he supposed that a Ysalimiri had been brought with her. He sighed, as this was a sign that things would become irritating very quickly. Angel stomped in with an air of defiance as she taunted Kayen, threatening him. Overall it appeared her and Raiku shared similar personalities. He could only ask himself if all of the Officers were so childish in behavior.
Moving on, he realized that she had clearly come expecting a fight and somehow believed that she would win. However, as with the situation with Raiku, now was not the time to scuffle with an Imperial Officer. Such things were better suited for dark alleys, preferably at night and when no one was near. He leaned over to Kayen, warning him to not begin a conflict and instead simply tell her he would not punish her and ignore her from there. He took a step back, not wanting to get involved further in a skirmish with an officer, even if this one didn't outrank them. His anger was rising, but he was forced to keep a smooth exterior in order to keep these soldier's training going forwards.

Kayen turned his head as he saw Angel walk in. He could immediately tell that she had no connection to the force and he stepped back slowly keeping himself out of range of her ysalamiri bubble in case he had to move quickly. As he watched her, he gathered the force around his front end, hoping to save himself if she fired. With a grin, Kayen spoke. "It's about time you got here, General! You're in charge of these recruits now... good luck with that." He showed no fear of her and his voice was dripping with sarcasm.
