Name: Maria Lel
Class: Sentinel
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Height/Weight: 5'7 / 125
Species: Kiffar
Items: Cyan Lightsaber, dark blue robes, communicator, blaster,
Bio: Born to as a Kiffar, on the planet of Kiffu. As is traditional with Kiffar she was tattooed when young with an upside down V upon her cheek. Maria grew up mostly outside of the galaxy's influences and in the clan of Lel, where she was prized by her parents when she turned ten, and found one of her unique abilities which was the Kiffar's ability to read inanimate objects. Not only that however, but she was a step further then most, for if she touched a living being she could also read the history of them was well. This caused a few problems, for sometimes Maria found she could not control when she would read things from someone, and thus she adopted a general guideline of not physically coming into contact with most, however she knew it wasn't her place to judge even from a young age.
Maria was found to be force sensitive however, her parents wouldn't allow her to undergo the Jedi training, which would separate them. Growing up she didn't have many duties besides the chores around the house and running errands. She eventually began to develop a sense of adventure seeking new routes to take on her errands, and listening to foreigners upon her world about the galaxy outside. While it was her parents wise for her to find a mate soon, and settle down she decided that she wouldn't and explained to them that she felt the need to go into the galaxy. She felt there was something she was meant to do out there.
Giving her a family heirloom passed down from generation to generation, she left, with a Lightsaber. Her parents somehow suspected she might need it, and knew that sometimes just seeing a lightsaber was enough to end a conflict. Maria parted with her parents on the night of her 21st birthday, and she wondered if she would ever come back. As she boarded the ship, she forced herself not to look back down upon her home world for to look back was only to invite self doubt. Maria wouldn't allow that, and thus she was off into hyperspace.
