Kazral's ship had exited hyperspace in orbit around the planet Korriban, a desolate wasteland almost void of life. They landed on the planet, the Sith being pleased with the surge of Dark Side energy on the planet. It was a perfect place to learn in his opinion. "Come on now, you can't stay in the ship all day when you have to learn," Kazral said, beckoning Aseria to follow him. He would only take a few steps out, the wide open space already being perfect. "Tell me, can you even do anything with the gift.. or as its properly called.. the Force?"

Aseria stepped out of the ship and immediately sensed a strong presence of power, evil, and the force. It was almost unnatural, yet she liked it.
"The force? No...well I don't think so."
She attempted to lift a stone in the same manner that Kazral had lifted the head. She concentrated with all of her energy, and the rock rose a foot or two, wobbled, and then fell again. She knew it wasn't much, but she was still pleased with herself.

"Its a good start," Kazral said after looking at her move the rock. He was certain that he had made the right choice to find someone gifted, making him worry again. Certainly paranoid. "Keep trying to move it around, and make sure you're concentrating." Kazral used the Force to throw the rock into the air, as a demonstration. "Now don't try forcing it to move. Start off by moving it slowly, and try to keep it up in the air as long as possible."

Aseria sat cross-legged on the ground and closed her eyes. She tapped not only into her own force power, but into the energy she could sense around her. The rock began to slowly lift up into the air, focusing on keeping it at this height instead of trying to move it further. After some time the rock finally fell back to the ground. She opened her eyes, aiting for Kazral to comment.

"You're getting the hang of it," Kazral simply said, still standing and watching her. He wondered if she was as gifted as he had thought or if he was just a good teacher. Smirking at himself, he turned to her. "Now I want you to try to move it around as much as you can. Keep your eyes on it, watch where it goes. I don't expect you to be able to not watch where its going." Having said this, the Sith paced around waiting.

Aseria was getting tired from all the effort, as today was the first time she had consciously used the force. However, she wanted to impress her teacher and see for herself what she could do. She tossed the pebble using the force in every direction, pushing it foward then bringing it back, throwing it up, and pushing in back down forcefully to the ground. She could not move it very far, but she at least felt like she was getting the hang of it. With one last effort she used the force to throw the rock with all of her energy at Kazral.

Kazral saw the pebble come at his face, so he tried to stop it by using the Force himself. To his surprise he had only slowed it, him being struck by it. It made him stumble, rubbing his forehead where he was hit. "Very nice," he simply complemented, standing up straight again. He picked up a rock using the Force, closing his hand and crushing it. "You've seen what I've done. Try to do that."

Aseria lifted a rock up to her hands using the force. She tried tried as hard as she could, but could not crush the rock. She let the rock fall, and began to make excuses.
"I can't, I'm too tired..."

"I knew you were frail," Kazral said, mocking her. He did this out of the pure fun, but he was also trying to taunt her to attack him by using the Force. "Well I suppose that concludes my lessons." Kazral made his way to the ship, standing near it. "For good." The Sith stood there waiting for a response, grinning.

Aseria knew what he wanted her to do, and wanted to prove herself to him. She gave into her rage and attempted to knock over Kazral using the force. She knew she was not powerful enough to simply knock him down using the force, so she targeted just his legs, hoping to push them out from under him. She lifted up another rock through the force and propelled it at him.

Kazral felt the pull on his legs, letting himself fall over. However he used the Force to help propel himself back up while falling. He turned around to see another rock thrown at him, this time holding out his hand. Using the Force he guided it to his hand, crushing it when it reached it. "You don't appear to be too weak or tired, " he said, letting the remains of the rock fly out of his hand. "Now do as I instructed."

Aseria did what she was told. She decided to be ambitious and picked up a particularly large stone. She lifted it up in front of her, took a moment to gather her strength, and with one tremendous push she shattered the rock.
Before she had grown more tired after each effort to use the force. Quite the contrary, now every time she used it, she felt invigorated and stronger. Indeed, she was so caught up in the moment that she launched a powerful force push at her instructor.

Kazral saw her movements, wondering if she was going to attack him. He set his footing, and sent a Force Push to counteract Aseria's. Hers was obviously more powerful, but it was weakened. The Sith kept his ground, pushing through it and resisting. However he did get blown back as he used his arms to block it. "That's enough attacking me," he said annoyed, dusting himself off. "You're learning very quickly anyways, good work. Now I think it may be time for you to learn how to heal yourself." Using the Force he attempted to draw the dagger he gave her and slice her. He wondered if this was a good idea, being that the blade was designed to kill easily from a wound. So he did it with the utmost care. "Use the Force to seal it up, or you'll die." He crossed his arms, smiling.

Aseria let out a small cry as the dagger sliced her. She panicked as she remembered what Kazral had said about it being poisonous and deadly. She tried to calm herself down, and began to think about how one would go about healing themselves through the force. First she caused sealed up her wound, and moved the poison to her stomach were she proceeded to spit it up out of her body.

Kazral chuckled as he watched her. He decided if she died then she truly wasn't worth the effort to teach, so he won either way. The slit had closed up nicely, him nodding slightly in approval. Soon she was spitting out the poison, quite surprising yet it seemed to work. "Very good. Just don't think you can reattach limbs or anything," he said, thinking of what else he could teach her. Finally it came to him. "What else do you want to learn?" he asked through the Force, keeping his mouth shut and acting like he was not saying a thing.
