Alright, guess my first post will lay down a few of the rules of this topic, and then i'll see if anyone joins in on it. 1. First off you can only have one character. <.< This character can be replaced if your character should die somewhere along in the storyline. It's really your choosing if you want to continue or drop out of the story. 2. The DM (that would be me this time), won't be directly participating with the characters. 3. Submit a Character Profile to me through PM so I have a record of your character. Include things like this... Name: (obvious) Race: (is he/she an elf? Drow? Dwarf? Gnome?) Occupation: (what does he/she do for a living?) Skills: (what specific skills does your character have? Can he pick lock? Good at weilding staffs? or swords? Good at conjuring magic? Does he/she talk to animals? or command them at their will? Sleight of hand? Things like this. Helps make the story interesting.) Height/Weight: (nice to know but not required) Apperance: (also nice to know but not required) Alignment: (Good, Evil, Neutral? or if you go by D&D, Lawful Good, Neutral good, Chaotic Good. Lawful Neutral, Neutral, Chaotic Neutral. Lawful Evil, Neutral Evil, Chaotic Evil. If your interesting in that follow this link. This isn't nessisarly required either however) Equipment: (what does your character have on them? Swords, crossbows? Bows? Potions to make you run faster for a small amount of time? scrolls? a book of spells? Ect stuff like that. XD) 4. As always the topic holder's words is LAW, and in this case that means the DM's word is law. We'll stick with just those for now. After receiving two profiles I'll start the topic. If anyone has any suggestions for that they'd like PM me, or any ideas on the story during the story. i'm open to suggestions . A note on a few things how i'll hopefully do DMing. anything that has, (All) in the front of it is to all of you. anything that has a certain players name, is JUST to them, and THEM ALONE.

Name: Azazel Race: Unknown Humanoid Male (could be an elf, human, etc.) Occupation: Wanderer Skills: multilingual, stealthy, improvisation (creating new pathways and such), bypassing (picking locks, getting past traps, etc), escape artist (getting out of things and so on) Height/Weight: 6'1" 136lbs Appearance: Wears a black robe that lengthens down to his feet and the sleeves conceal his arms. The robe itself is rather protective; restricted by metal plates meant for obvious protection. His hood goes down to his eyes, but even then there is a mask that conceals from the nose down. That leaves only his eyes, which are a simple shade of brown. Simple black boots and gloves are worn when they are not concealed. Anything else is never shown, which is therefore unimportant. Alignment: Neutral Good Equipment: Sweet Dreams (trusty poisonous dagger of doom)
So rough... and so generic.. ah well, what can I do.

OOC I told you guys to PM not post but aw well.... To All: The Forest of Yuin is known for being lush in wildlife and villages far and few inbetween. A few farms here and there have also sprung up within it's depths but they are quite rare. Recently Orcs have been popping up replacing other common naucanses such as the cave dwelling goblins which seem to have up and disappeared. The Orcs have white skin which seems unusual for this part of the land. None but a few select Mages would know, of these tribal Orcs and where they come from. There has been growing fear within the travelers of Yuin and there have been more then a few accidental killings. The forest is slowly becoming more and more of an unsafe place for peaceful wanderers. To the West there have been rumors of a Desert uprising. While many descriptions are vague the stories are often muttered in almost every bar within the villages of Yuin. It probably wouldn't be to hard to hear of the uprising. North is a flourishing Kingdom that many have traveled to in search of riches. The King has recently died from unknown causes forcing the prince to take up the mantle. The City has been on a steady decline according to the people who have left the city back to their village homes. Assassinations have been plauging the city as a guild of Assassin's have been rumored to have popped up in the city. The prince is not helping things for he has raised taxes and implimented a few new laws.... South is a Mage city that is lead by three of the eldest Mages. They have grown to distrust one another and split the city down the middle in power. Or thirds some would say. Divided by color and leader now they each have their own destinctive properties. The red controled by Garn, the oldest has gathered the elderly mages and most experienced. The blue is lead by Jin, who has gathered the most powerful mages on his side. He relies on sheer magic power to overwhelm his foes, while the last Terstones, using the robes of Green has the youngest and newest to the mages. He has been sending his mages out pairing them together. A new inexperienced with a more experienced mage to go out and help the troubles of the current day. In the mountains to the south dwell the dwarves. They mime day and night for thier precious jems, jews and metals. As most dwarven people, they keep to themselves, and ignore the outside worlds problems. Dwarven smithing is in high demand for adventurers however, and there have been many adventurers who have traveled into this mountains to seek a dwarf to forge them a blade..... To Tayen: You've decided to head deeper into the forests of Yuin because the Game around your normal hunting spots have become scarce. You notice many animals appear restless, and frightened. As you are out hunting you come across a male buck rubbing his horns against the bark of a tree getting ready for rutting season. This is your operunity to score some meat and nab a little coin in the process. Using your elven abilities you sneak up almost perfectly silent within 20 yards of the Deer and begin to pull back your bow. Suddenly you hear footsteps approaching behind you. The Deer perks up as it smells something upwind of it, and takes off. You fire your arrow trying to nail the deer before it disappeared into the wood. The arrow flies through the air making a wizzing sound only to end in a THUNK as it skins into the bark of a tree. The arrow had missed the Deer by inches. You have no time to chase it as your elven hears had picked up something approaching you so you have decided to wait.... To Azazel: You've come from the Northern Kingdom. Wanted for a recent Assassination in which you left many people dead. Forced to flee quickly you left behind all your equipment except your trusty dagger. It is lined with a deadly and secret posion passed between master and apprentice. Your master entrusted you to the secret just before he died. Over the years you've only taken assassinations of evil men, however you had been tricked upon your last mission. You came to Yuin to escape your pursuers, and suceeded. However you've also suceeded and getting yourself lost without a guide within the forest. You've been wandering the forest for days. Your supplies have begun to run low as the days have past. You spot an Elven ranger in the distance and decide to walk up and obserb, perhaps he could guide you to a nearby village you think as you slowly approach him quitely. Suddenly a deer bounds off having smelled you. Noticing this you realize the Elf may have senced your approach as well and you drop flat to the ground as the elf turns to look around himself. You are sure he did not see you however you must make a decision quickly. Are you to hide from this elf for fear he recognize you as a criminal you've been framed to be? Or to ask his help in finding a village where you may gather your thoughts and information about the forests of Yuin. OOC in the future i'll be controlling your guys characters alot less however, i decided i would set the scene like this. The DM will post after everyone has posted once. So the turn order does not matter at any time anyone can post after the DM however! you only get one post inbetween DM posts.

"How wonderful," Azazel thought to himself as he laid on the ground. The best help always came from someone unarmed in his opinion, and this one seemed to be a great hunter. "I can either come and get shot by an arrow or I can move on and hope for another person to be around." The wanderer thought all about his experiences with assassinations, specifically recalling he could not simply ask people how to get into the target's home or what was his target's schedule. "Fate has always been on my side before. I'll trust it for this decision as well."
And so Azazel jumped to his feet and started to sprint away. He was careful to be light on his feet and to avoid anything on the ground. But more importantly, he made sure to keep close to the trees. He angled himself in a direction that he hoped would obstruct the ranger's aim. Running, when he thought about it, may have not been a wise decision. However he didn't really expect himself to be able to stay hidden back there, and he was in a weak situation. "If you can miss a deer you can certainly miss me," he said in a soft voice with confidence...

Layen saw the man making a run for cover, and quickly drew an arrow and put it up into the air, aiming at the mans knee's. He didn't know if he would hit from the distance, but figured it was better than sitting back. The moment the arrow was let fly, he dropped the bow, and took chase.

To Layen: Your arrow flies through the air towards your target. Unfornuately he's gotten a head start before you fully notice him and he's running along the tree cover. As you shoot for his knee cap the arrow wizzes past it barely missing his front knee cap as he continues to run, however the arrow manages to catch his second foot throwing him off balance and stumbling for a few steps before regaining balance.
To Azazel: Out running an elf wasn't the smartest idea, while you may have struck a token of luck from the arrow missing you, the elf is quickly on your tail. You may recall that elves had good endurance and can run non stop for sometimes days.
To All: The surrounding forest gets darker and darker as the chase continues. While the chase is generally silent it is starting to pick up some attention by White Orc sentry, and the chase is slowly leading deeper into the Orc territory.

Azazel continued to stay on course while running, deciding still that it was best to run. In his eyes he did not have to simply outrun his new predator. Losing someone in a chase doesn't always require that. One can always find obstacles to obstruct the enemy. "Looks like we're not the only two here," he whispered, starting to pick up the pace. Orcs would be beneficial to his cause, at least that was his view of it. This elven ranger could get tied in with them, he thought, and would have to fight them while he could sneak away. Perhaps he could sneak into a camp and steal supplies... for now he simply searched for a camp and hoped to get as close to it as possible.

Layen cursed to himself as he saw that the man coninued to run, and noticed also the area they were heading in. He had seen white orcs around the area, but hadn't thought much of it until now. He started arching his chase out a little, on the tree side, slipping between them with the ease he had shown all his life. He wouldn't let this target escape, for if one was running from a ranger, he had crimes to answer for.

To Azazel: You proceed deeper and deeper into the Orc's territory and soon come upon an Orc tribe, they are about 50 yards away from you and if you move any closer they have the possibility of spotting you. Something behind you begins to ruffle in the bushes near you.....
To Layen: You drop to the side continuing your chase and come across one of the Orc sentries that had been watching the chases progress. He hadn't called out yet, but he wore medium armor covering his chest down to his legs with two axes in either hand and a cross bow upon his back. He stares at you for a moment as if to see what you will do and then lets out a loud shout in his harsh language that you can't understand. It then draws back it's ax as if preparing to swing.
To Vergil: You are out in the forest of Yuin looking for rare herbs that grow. Your small form has been, useful in avoiding the orcs while being here. You've managed to collect many herbs around this forest for your herbal skills, and soon as you collect up a few you decide to head out heading through the bushes to leave....
OOC Vergil and Azazel that's you two meeting if you didn't catch that hint.
To All: The Orcs hear the loud roar and are alert. They begin to scan the nearby area while some of the forward scout parties begin to circle back creating a pincer in the desert, if you continue to stay in these parts much longer an orc encounter is eminant.

Azazel glanced behind himself, expecting an orc to be coming towards him. They weren't known for being sneaky but who knows. It turned out to a rather short and stout person, but he knew it could be anyone. His knife slid out of his right arm's sleeve. He planned on killing him quickly, but his presence, or at least someone's, was known. It did not matter who they saw; they would be looking for anyone. So the runaway quickly fled towards the camp, assuming that the orcs would be leaving and would not expect someone to go to them. Besides, he also needed supplies. "Hopefully either of those strangers won't follow me," he said to himself. "They'll only get in the way." His motives would question another person, yet it was of no concern to him...

Vergil pulling away the herbs he had picked as he walked though the bushes looked up at the weird man as he ran off toward the orc camp, "Human...always so hastey" he said to himself right before he heard the loud rour of a near by orc, a bit shock at first Vergil pulled out his spell book and began to chant in some unknown langage and as he did a large blue figure appeared from the shadows of the trees behind him, the blue figure said in a gloomy voice "why have you summoned me...?!" Vergil looked over his shoulder and said "it's time to feed..." he looked back over toward the Orc camp and began to walk toward it with his voidwalker following close behind him.

Layen blinked as the orc challenged him, and drew his blade quietly. Without a word, he charged forward, sword leading the way, and slashed at the orcs stomach, with a left-to-right swing. didn't expect the hit to land, so as he launched it, he sprinted around the side of the orc, and attempted a run in the direction he had been going, on the mans trail. The man had cost him a meal, and for that, he would pay...

To Vergil: The Void walker agree's to follow you reluctantly, as you walk to the camp of orcs. As you go forward to the Orc Camp they spot you and your blue Void walker very easily, they seem to be more focused on the void walker then you however... A mage in the back is already gathering magical energies to his hand.....
To Layen: Your slash is blocked with the second ax deflecting it away and as you swerve around, the Ax held above the orc's head decends upon you cutting a medium wound through your shoulder as you continue on. The bleeding isn't too bad, but if left untreated it could eventually become infected. The Orc turns slightly confused at your treat but soon decides to give persuit.
To Azazel: The orcs had not left the came, only started looking around, your choise to run back to the camp has left you in quite a pardicument. The strange creature behind you, and a horde of Orcs ahead of you, all their weapon's drawn, and you notice off in the distant tree's three archers draw their bows. You are the only one to notice these men because of your unique view. Two Orcs step in front of you to block as you arive at the camp. Both in heavy armor. One weilding a large broadsword and the other a curved dagger with a short sword in his opposing hand. They bark something at you as they block your way.
To All: The Orc sentries that have been scouting out in the forest number in 3 groups of 4, making them twelve Orcs total. The main group within the camp left to hold it number twenty and there are a total of two mage Orcs. The leader is in the very center seems to be aware of the ruckus and starting to walk with two body guards flanking him. So far the Archers in the tree's have not opened fire upon you, but depending upon the actions taken, might change their hesitance to not shoot.....

"Nice, giant orcs," Azazel said, backing away a bit. He needed to come up with a plan first, but it seemed these orcs weren't hostile. Why else would the archers not shoot him, he thought. The wanderer tried to show a sign of peace, raising his arms and backing away. There was the problem of language for diplomacy, which annoyed him. His dagger was tucked in his sleeve if he was wrong about the non-hostility...
