The Mjolnir dropped out of hyperspace, above the planet, Socianis. The ships fighters started mobilizing, into the surrounding space, most ships sticking close to the Homeworld, but the Stealthx's moving out a distance.
Roland walked a line, made up of his 5 volunteers, and 15 marines that would be on the line, waiting for evac call, or red zero.
Roland smirked, enjoying his new job in charge, as he nodded, his men moving to their besuliik war droids, with the 1 extra for ash.

Ash was in his shuttle finishing adding the final touches to his mando armor: A dart shooter on his right forearm, and a place for throwing knives under his left forearm, left shoulder, and right thigh. An actual combat knife was added to the left side of his chest piece armor. This was a good mission for silent kills, and his armor showed it by holding mainly bladed weapons, but his lightsaber was on the left side of his belt.
He made sure his two sword hilts were over his right shoulder, a blaster rifle slung over his left shoulder, and a blaster pistol on his right thigh, next to the right most blades, then left the shuttle.
His left arm felt much better, as Ash spent much of the trip submerged in bacta. That, combined with the Ki healing speed and rudimentary focus with healing using the force, It was nearly at full strength, besides that joint taking more time to move, and still held pain, and to top it off, wasn't able to be pulled all the way up, which explaned why most of his weapons were in easy reach of his right hand.
Ash walked over near Roland stopping only to watch everyone climb onto a war droid mount. one was left, and Ash assumed it was for him, so he, too mounted it. Once he was strapped down, Ash made sure his gear was secure, then signaled his readiness. [/sub] |

Elsewhere at the Hall of Justice-Erm, I mean the Socianis Imperial Base, Kailani Tomoko, recently demoted and bitter sat back against the wall of her post, fast asleep. The obnoxious blonde woman snored lightly as she leaned back in her chair against the wall, feet propped up on the panel of delicate controls and monitors she was assigned to. Why bother? It was a slow day on the base, hell everyday was a slow day on Socianis. The only use of the damn thing was for guarding some infection, virus or whatever the hell the Empire thought worthy of protecting. It was small, a handful of droids and a couple dozen men all stationed on the compound. Snoozeville. In her more lively hours Kailani would sit and fume over the lameness of her latest post, and then feel better after a nice long boozing session and admit the pay was good despite obvious crappiness of overall work. Esy money was better than no money.
BEEP BEEEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEEEEEEP
Falling out of the chair with a grunt Kailani crashed to the floor. The beeping continued growing louder and more annoying by the second. "Wuzzhappenin'?" She muttered lifting her head up to squint down at the sensitive equipment. The first thought to go through her mind was that she must have broken it or pushed a button in her sleep. Glancing through the curtain of blonde curls covering her face she studied, her eyes adjusting quickly back to the bright lights of the room.
"Shit." Standing up and brushing herself off she turned just as five of the more senior officers arrived to see what all the hubub was.
"Ensign Tomoko, what seems to be the problem here?" Barked the Commander.
"Well, ya see, sir, it appears that the base is beeping, sir." She muttered, hands fishing through the pockets of her lose cargo pants, pulling from them a gleaming silver flask.
"I've realized that much, Ensign. How about telling us whats causing the beeping?" His voice sharp and biting. Kailani took a long swig from her flask giving a grin to the Commander and his lesserings.
"Well, you see here sir, it seems the monitors have spotted something. Theres a ship preparing to land on the planet sir, and me thinks its headin' for us." Her voice dropping the sarcasm and being steady and serious.
A deep frown crossed over the Commander's face. " Sound the alarm, get the men ready, activate all security precautions. Shut off all entrances to Sector 7-G. Our objective is to protect the virus. I don't want a single sole to ever step foot in that sector without checking with me first. Is that understood, Esign Tomoko?"
Saluting for a moment, a devilish grin across her face. "Aye, Cap'n. Crystal clear. Am I permitted to join the fray as well? I'm itching for some action."
"Yes, only after you've confirmed Sector 7-G's security in person. Dismissed." He said, turning about and leaving the room, his lemmings running off after him silently. Rolling her eyes, Kailani turned on the intercom, her loud almost raspy voice slowly saying "Code Magneta in progress. Code Magneta. All troops to their stations, begin shut down of 7-G immediately" echoed through the halls as the men began to rush through, each heading for their respective areas, weapons on hand.
Grabbing her holster and handy dandy utility belt she wrapped and snapped them both around her waist in a quick flourish before running down the hall in booted feet. Droids and men ran in flurry about her, seemingly having forgotten most of their training in the calm of Socianis.
Finally arriving at the entrance to 7-G Kailani smiled. All seemed well. The large metal doors in and out were damn near indestructable, and the only sane way in was with a passcode of nine digits that randomized every three minutes. All nine digits of the code were split into three groups of three, each group of numbers given to three people. The Commander, his Combat specialist, and herself. This successfully keeping all nine digits from being in the same place at the same time during base attacks.
Everything checking out Kailani took back off into a run, unsure of where exactly she ought to join the men. She didn't have a particular station to watch during these types of things. The security desk was being manned by one of the lesserings, and the entire perimeter was surronded as well. It was doubtful whoever these intruders were that they'd even get that far. Frowning she decided to head for the place garunteeing the most action. Directly outside the compound, where they would be forced to land and begin the fight.
Clad once more in only corset and shorts, rifles on her back, vibroblade attached the her hip, and a pair of pistols in her holsters Kailani Tomoko was ready for action. Stepping outside, watching the skies she fished around for her flask again, taking a deep sip of the warm liquid.

Roland nodded a quick nod to ash. He trusted the mans battle prowess, but thought to make it alot more interesting.
LIGHTNING! i have heard you are a force sensitive. For this mission only, force powers are a big negatory. Time to prove your worth.
He quickly mounted his War droid, and latched on his helmet, looking back over his troopers, for a moment, before yelling into the squad-com OYA!
As he finished, His droid, Werda lept forward, and out the airlock, and headed full speed towards the planet. The 5 soldiers, 1 medic, and 4 elites, quickly dove off right behind him.
Epsilon squad is don, and chris and myself. siera is mike, Elliot, jones, and ash. Keep together people, Your lives are in their hands. He said, before radio blinked out for a moment of re-entry.
The 6 Besuliik war droids entered the atmosphere at a slight angle, protecting the pilots from getting burned, while keeping them on course.
Despite a little bit of turbulance, they made it through pretty well, and Roland, leading by example, cut the thrusters on the droid, putting it into free-fall, and gaining speed. The others followed suit, to varring degree's, from imediatelly following suit, to waiting a few more moments before doing so. This put some distance between the squad, so anti-air flack wouldn't take them all out.
Roland, feeling his adrenilin pumping, watched the world circle up to meet him, before, a full 30 seconds before impacting, set his besuliiks thrusters to full blast, and screaming towards the target.
He yelled in team chat, FOR MANDALORE! As he made it to the location they had found was the main enterence to the tomb turned base. He set his droid to circle back, after firing a few rounds into the area around the door, before leaning out, ove the side of the droid, and holding on to the arm. The droid, knowing its pilot, slowed down, excessivelly durring the attack run, and lowered its fly-by heighth, to a dozen feet above the ground, and at the last moment, before hitting the area right before the door, Roland dropped, the dozen feet, landing in a role, and came up running, his vitals on squad-com pinging kia for a split second, as his heart skipped a beat. He sprinted full force towards the door, unshouldering his WESTMAR-M5 blaster rifle
He yelled again, into open mic that resounded around him, OYA!
A moment behind him, the 5 soldiers dropped to the ground, and their droids taking off back towards the surface, closer to the door, and sprinted to catch up.

Ash made his final preperations before launching from Mjolnir, flying in perfect formation dispite this being his first time flying a war droid. He was a pilot for the Republic before its change into the empire, so he had some skills.
Ash cut engines fast, and just fell into orbit. The freefall let him gain much heat and speed, and brought them brought them back on when he was fully in the atmosphere. He looked off to the side to see Roland did the same. They were getting really close to the surface now.
Ash didn't pull up until the last possible moment, and he flew a few meters above the surface. Ash's group was above him, and slightly behind.
Ok, blast that door Roland fired into, and lets crack that casket wide open. [/i] Ash couldn't help but make a stupid pun on the fact that this use to be a tomb. He grinned under his helmet as Roland made a run for the door. Ash, comfortable enough with the beast now, cut thrusters for a second, and rolled it over on its right side, and turned the beast to the right. Just after it was half way around, and Ash was pointed at the ground, Ash brought thrusters back on, and jumped off. The cut-drop gave him enough speed and runway to do almost literally fly through the open doorway. He didn't though, but slidded on his feet to a stop, his modified blaster rifle at the ready. The deep emerald of his armor twinkled slightly as he walked up next to Roland. He felt the air for recent travelers, and felt some. He didn't really feel for them to much, but their electromagnetic trail was fresh. Now what, we split up, on team heading for the data while the second takes out the virus?[/center][/sub] |

What in the name of the seven suns are these guys doing? Kailani thought absently as she gripped the butt of her blaster rifle, unshouldering it, training the sights of the closest one. It was a small, heavily armoured squad. Mandalorian's judging by the armour. Ranged attacks wouldn't do too much good. Mandalorian iron could easily deflect most blaster fire.
Running up faster and closer, covering herself behind the group of twenty or so men that had flocked outside the base. With a loud shake the door had nearly been blasted off its hinges, more troops flocking out into the fray. Kailani quickly approached the group of Mandalorians, taking careful aim with her rifle and firing six shots in rapid succession at Roland. Blaster fire went off everywhere around her as the Imperial forces attempted to suround the one in emerald green armour.
Quickly and stealthily she approached Roland, withdrawing her vibroblade long sword from her hip. A smile flashed across her face. Why not have a little fun with them, first? Stepping back some, using one of the more unwilling troopers as a makeshift shield she shouted "Hi there! Welcome to Socianis! I'm Kailani Tomoko, head of the welcoming commitee, and we've all gathered here today to tell you to kindly get the fuck off the planet!" Her voice cheery and sweet as she ran towards him, vibroblade weilded and ready to deflect blaster fire.

Roland ducked his head in, and put his side to the bullets, as he continued to charge, 4 of the 6 rounds pinging off his armor, He quickly turned to the Imperial forces, opening up on them with a semi auto burst of his westmar rifle.
He quickly dropped the rifle, as he drew neer, drawing his vibro-blades, and slashed into the front ranks, cutting into two soldiers, who didn't have the smarts to move.
As he did, Epsilon squad started taking shots, falling in right behind the gap that roland had made, as he continued to shield rush the people out of the way.
No can do. You see, this is a nice piece of real estate, you have here. Don't mind if we take it do you? He yelled, as he ran into the tomb, before Epsilon squad took positions, firing back behind them, and at the door.

Ash blasted three soldiers tring to suround him off their feet, his modified blaster rifle acting more like a small cannon, or maybe more like an E-web blaster. Once there was a half circle of men around him, Ash dropped his blaster and drew his swords, and, a heart beat later, was amist their ranks, slicing and running after Roland, his squad blasting away while most fire was concentrated on Ash. Too bad he was able to feel the wake of the incoming blaster bolts, the rasing his hair when they got too close, and able to dodge most of them.
Ash made it to the tomb with little more than some black patches on his armor, but the Beskar did him well. Sierra squad arrived a second behind him. When they were free of the fray of men, Ash's borrowed besuliik war droid fired away, carefull to keep its blasts awar from the Ash, his team, and Roland and his team. Ash had his blaster rifle out and was firing away. Ash activated his comlink and opened it with Roland.
So, who's your lady friend? [/i] Ash was inside the tomb now, helping keep everyone out who wasn't wearing mandalorian armor.[/center][/sub] |

Kailani smiled. Well, at least these guys had some sense of humor. Ducking and dodging as he sliced through the troops, they stormed the door. The Imperial troops were, lets be honest, getting their asses handed to them. Breaking out into a run, vibroblade held out infront of her she quickly caught up to the suited men, jumping onto Ash's back and straddling his shoulders.
"Well, I'm afraid I didn't catch your name, boyo. In case you didn't hear me, I'm Kailani Tomoko." She said with a cackling laugh before slipping her vibroblade back into it sheath before wrapping her hands around the helmet attempting to rip it up and off his head. "Come on doll, why not lemme see that pretty face of yours. Level the playing field a little"

As the imperials outside the complex was strafed by the War droids fire, and taking cover, Roland noticed Ash's little cling to. He quickly yelled, ASH DUCK! before starting a running jump, that he turned into a double drop kick, aimed right at ash's head. If he missed, he timed right, to grab Kailani by the shoulders, and yank her away from ash as he flew past.
I don't know who she is, but get the commander of the base! Take Epsilon with you! He yelled to Ash and the squads.
As the incident began, a dozen soldiers came from deaper in the complex, moving to the next set of doors, 1 hefting a Quip quad rotating blaster rifle, and they started to hose down where the Mandalorians were hiding.

Ash felt Kailani's lightweight body cling to his body, and eventually her climb up onto his shoulders, and she, introduced herself to him.
Call me Ash, but your being to clingy for a first date.
Ash let loose enough electricity to make the girl loosten her grip on him instantly, then twisted, pulling his head down, and felt as the near weightless human was taken from his shoulders by Roland. Now he was able to concentrate on the newest wave of foes.
Thinking quickly, Ash jumped off a wall, and fired a dart into the soldier with the quad blaster, and flung two knives into the two nearest to him. By the time he landed, he had his blaster pistol up and firing, using his eyes to aim his hands and the gun. He added his focus to his eye sights, and they zoomed in on them. Almost instantly, his eyes began to hurt, but he never let off on his pistol sniping. [/sub] |

"Oh, please. I don't count it a date with out a few shots." She said with another laugh, nearly ripping the helmet off before a lovely flying pair of feet started to fly towards her. Bending her lithe body backwards, her legs still about Ash's shoulders and neck she narrowly missed the pair of large feet trying to connect with her. And just as they began to pass a large pair of hands came and gripped at her shoulders, ripping her away from the heavily armoured solider.
Sharp pain went through, Kailani's bare shoulder being gripped too tightly. Scrambling her free hand went for her vibroblade, unsheathing it and slamming it down against Roland's leg.
"You idiots! That fuckin' hurts. You might as well give up now, you rat bastards. Goin' in theres gonna do nothin' but bring you but even worse shit than me and these idiots out here. You wont be able to get in, and once you go in there, I doubt you'll be comin' out!" She yelled, struggling in the tight grip that was crushing her shoulder.

Roland landed flat, and was sitting up when he noticed the girl grabbing a vibro-blade. He quickly let go of one of her shoulders, grabbing her hand about the rist, and twisted, while putting enough force to make her drop the vibro-blade.
Easy there, little lady! He yelled, as he did so. We are here to destroy the virus, and leave. Give in now, or we will be forced to use force...
As ash threw his knifes and shot out a dart at the men in the hallway, the three he targetted, seemingly with inhuman speed, dodged the projectiles, the two having kives thrown ducked around the corner, while the quad laster, moved to the side, before continuing fire into the room.
There came a loud laughing from the one with the quip quad, as he fired, aiming now mostly at Ash, as he yelled, WHO YOU AIMING AT! HUH?
With that, two of the soldiers turned the corner, and fired gun mounted grenade launchers into the room, above the door, that Roland and Kailani were standing in.

Ash dropped his blaster and brought out his lightsaber, using his eyes, reflexes, and strength to deflect the blaster bolts. It was harder to do without the aid of the force, but it could be done, and he was doing it right now.
Damn that blasted virus. Squad, fire on the guy with the big-ass gun. Take him out fast.
Ash kept himself between his squad and those powerful blaster bolts. His, nor his squad's armor, could stand up to these blaster bolts, but five men should be able to take down this infected, then move onto the rest of them. That quad blaster would be of good use in their hands, if they can get it.
Aiming at your ugly mug shot.
Ash tilted his lightsaber and started to direct the incoming blaster bolts to that side of the room, and hopefully into the other infected. [/sub] |

"You can't just destroy the virus and walk out idiot!" she shrieked, yanking her wrist and hand away from him before grabbing her vibroblade and diving out of the way of the grenades. Rumble poured down over the spot they were just standing in, a fine layer of rocks and such things falling over then. Picking herself back up, vibroblade in one hand, blaster in the other she took off into another run, firing in rapid succession at Roland.
"You might also want to refrain from calling 'little lady'." she said, her smirk still there as she swung the blade towards him.
