Ok so given the current state of the site, i'd say things are going pretty good. There's a nice conflict going between good and evil and some middle ground for all your mandalorians out there.
I'd like to suggest we keep this up somewhat. I remember my favorite time on the site was when there was a nice stewing cold war between the empire and the federation. If we could set something like that up i think it would be better for the overall site, instead of the constant good bad good bad good bad power shifts that only last a few months we could set up some kind of long term governmental status of the galaxy that would allow plenty of conflict for character development.
As for the Jedi. while i am certainly not the most powerful force user, things are shaping up to look like i will be leading the Jedi for the foreseeable future and i'd like to take peoples opinions on how it should be and how it should be organized.
I'm thinking a the new Jedi Temple should be placed on Ilum and i'd like to do something grand and gothic with it. build it out of stone and dig tunnels that go down into the crystal caves. something cool like that.

The Jedi Templar
The Jedi Templar are a subsect of the Jedi order founded by Jor Halcyon and Drake Hellion. Jor takes the place as the Templars commander and Drake as his Second. Those inducted into the Templars are granted the title Sir or Dame for their given name or surname. (Sir Jor, or Sir Jor Halcyon. Not, Sir Halcyon)
The Templars have three charges.
First among these charges is to preform the Accolade Ceremony that marks the transition from Padawan to Knight. Any Templar can perform the Ceremony.
Second among these charges is to defend Jedi Strongholds across the galaxy. As their defenders, the Templar are tasked with leading the Jedi in the defense of their homes and the protection of their students.
Third among these charges is to track down and bring back any Jedi who have fallen into darkness and run from the order, so that they may be brought back to the light, or face their crimes.
To face these Charges, Templars receive special training and equipment. Upon their admission into the Templars, the Jedi receive an armband with a pure Cortosis plate along the forearm, as well as a Cuirass made from Duraplast with a Red Cross symbol placed over the heart.
They receive extra training in using the force to subdue force users, and to predict and defend against force attacks made against them. They also must go through a rigorous mental process to learn to fight their own temptations.

what about going after Cain or the evil people of the universe?
I mean you can't just defend your temple all day along with bringing fallen jedi back. Is it that you want the Jedi Templars to be self-isolated from the outside world?
What is the purpose of this order is what I should ask...

I agree with Mik, This war is a great chance for character development, And building ones' character's on site history, Then if your anything like me, You can and will refer to said characters on site history in later post, Anyway moving on.
I have a question regarding the Jedi Templar, They will be a different part of the order, Correct? I'm not sure if subsect is like subsection abbreviated. I like the name ether way, And Valdr, if its so that they are a subsection then only they would be doing what Mik listed Meaning other Jedi will be out and about.
As for Ilum, That's a place i would have never thought of for any kind of temple, Certainly not a Jedi one. However after reading about the planet i think it would be perfect, It would be Like the new dantooine, Being so close to lightsaber Chrystals. But Ilum seems like it would be vary difficult to find, Which is a double edged sward, Cuz its good for them and bad for the enemy, But new members wont be able to find it. My only wonder is how are the first of this new jedi order going to know Ilum is where the temple is?

I really like this idea. It certainly gives a chance for those of us who want a Jedi character that actually flourishes and grows, rather than is simply lured to the darkside because theres a better chance to get stronger. This will be a great opprotunity for characters that want to stick to the Jedi code and the Jedi way. I approve.

I like the idea too. It's about time there was an official place for Jedi on this forum.

I need to agree with everyone else here. The idea at getting some real Jedi here, even if its an unpaid faction. The Templar's seem.... interesting enough. This war has much potential, and there could be threesome war of some sort with the Sith, Jedi, and Mandalorians. Hehe. The three sides of the blade are once again present, but who would make the first move in this brittle time of pre-war. Will it be the jedi, wanting to get back at those who have caused them hardship in the recent weeks? Would it be the sith, being as brash and bold as always.... or would it be the Mandalorians, and their list for battle? Fate will determine who draws the first blood, and the commanding forces of each side. One wrong move, and the entire galaxy could be ripped apart. The right move, and the shift of power could go to the ones who are less likely to abuse it. Now, let the cold war begin.
((sorry, I was overdue for some sort of narrative, but at least it doesn't sound too bad, if not exactly accurate. lol.)) [/sub]

Thanks for the clarification Ragnuss. I would have to agree with everyone as well. I mean there presently isnt a jedi faction and we need one desperately since there are people im sure of (like Moonfire said) who would like a jedi. I say go ahead.

Sect: a group adhering to a distinctive doctrine or to a leader
So the Jedi order would be a Sect of force users. The Jedi Templar would be a subsect of the Jedi order.
This is a sect of the Jedi, not a sect of Superheros. If you want to go across the galaxy striking all evil in your sight then buy some tights and think of a good secret identity.
I want to make this very clear. I am in no way insinuating that i want to start an entirely new site sanctioned faction. I would very much like if the Jedi order remained just an unpaid group, as they should be.
however, the Jedi order is not a government. and the Army of Light is fighting for the removal of the Empire and the reconstruction of a free, functioning democratic government. If yall want to turn whatever government that is into a faction then so be it. But that faction will not be the Jedi order.

So during this cold war would we be sending 'squad's or small groups to fight eachother or fighting would still be ok intermingling of them. If so i'm sort of good for it though i think we should slam the Empire ASAP but meh whatever everyone wants.
