like i said. you think a sith wouldn't use the force to heal himself after being wounded, or protect himself?

forget the lightside crap, when have they ever said "lightside" in any of the movies. there is the force, and the Dark side of the force. those who fall to the dark side are corrupted and become dark jedi. everone else is a jedi.

Mik healing can be good or bad. its how you do it. Whether you take energy from another source or heal you self from within like a jedi. A sith will draw More force energy from the darkside to heal his wounds just like in battle.

The point is that the sith and jedi weaken themselves by sticking to a certain code jedi more over sith, but explain why anakin didn't use the force to heal himself in the movie, he could have taken some of obi wans health, or whatever, but he didn't. The jedi restrict themselves by not doing anything to corrupt them, aka using the force to kill things, they consider that a path to the darkside. So essentially you could say sith are stronger then jedi, just becasue they don't resrict themselves to the force, but a sith that hates jedi won't tap into light powers, although its not a defind light power, just something the being calls it to establish what side it is, but grey jedi don't care which side they use so they could be considered better. To make it final, neither side is stronger its how you use the force that determines whats stronger...

Oh and if there is a darkside there must be a lightside, since to explain dark you have to talk about the loss of lightside.

yep that's why jedi, and sith alike fall to eachother in battle if one was stronger then one side would always win.

So what was Vader doing in that meditation sphere other then healing himself?

You can't prove there is a lightside by pointing at the dark side and saying, "well there must be a lightside because if not, it wouldn't be fair"

sometimes, things just don't have an opposite, i'm sorry but it's a fact of life. thats why i don't like the light dark analogy for the force, because it doesn't fit.

And no one loses the force. whoever came up with that crappy force absorb power started something horrible. the using the force does not mean you use up force points and the force is created by life, they are not one in the same. so by draining some one's life, you do not "Gain" force power.

please, put KOTOR down, and watch Empire again.

going to have to rewrite that first paragraph. there is a word or something missing.

for the second paragraph i'm just going to tell you to put KOTOR 2 down, and wach Empire some more.

as for absorbing life force... like i said before, whatever video game desginer came up with that started something horrible. there is a point where the Force stops becoming the force, and starts to just be some kind of Magic that we see in every other movie. in every other cannon and EU source besides video games, people don't just absorb other people and use them for power.
