the force is considered magic by common folk duh? And also people do absorb other people for power, becuase it works. ITs called FORCE DRAIN and its in more then just kotor if you really want to be and ass. its only in video games, mostly non cannon video games, but it was in KOTOR as well and is widely considered a miastake. it makes for an ok force power, but it goes against all the other literature.

Question before i proceed how does it go against all other writings and secondly doesnt the vong having no mediclorains and being able to move and being alive go against what the jedi beleive?

it goes against all the literature because no dark jedi has ever absorbed force energy from the life of another. Corran Horn can absorb energy from force attacks directed at him, just as he can absorb blaster bolts and whatnot. he can even use that force power to fuel his force healing.
but he never absorbs life from another person, and the force he absorbs doesn't magicly heal him, he still needs to channel it in the same way a jedi AND a sith do it.
now the Vong are a little diferent. they were force sensitive a long time ago, back in their own galaxy. to make a long story short, the planet they lived on striped them of the force. now there are creatures who have no medicloriens but the vong are diferent. instead of being a kind of blank spot in the force, the vong are like a compleat hole in the force, compleatly separated from it.

one comment, the Kotor games where created by lucas arts therefore, if lucas didn't like it they wouldn't be in there.....

That would be the same thing, if they are completely removed from it they would be a hole in the force.

There's no darkside, lightside, good side, bad side, or inbetween of the force. The force is the same, it's the people using it who differ. The jedi are a group of people strong in the force, who use the force to guide and help them as an ally. The sith a group of people who use the force with an evil intent, they believe it is a tool, or a power. The sith are jedi who became corrupt. they could not handle the gift, the power they were given without using it for personal advantage. With great power come great responsibility. (couldn't resist ;D)

one comment, the Kotor games where created by lucas arts therefore, if lucas didn't like it they wouldn't be in there..... Most of the games made by Lucas Arts are considerd Non Cannon or EU. only the Kotor games are considerd Cannon but they conflict with other cannon and non cannon sources so no one is quite sure how they fit into star wars. sure they're great games but they also rip up a pre-existing storyline and conflict with already established facts. (Like only Sith AFTER Darth Bane take on the name "Darth." Malak and Reven however take the name Darth long BEFORE Bane was even born) There's no darkside, lightside, good side, bad side, or inbetween of the force. (couldn't resist ;D) Agreed almost compleatly, but i would like to make on slight amendment. those who use the "darkside" or as you put it, those who use the force as a tool for personal gain. become addicted to it. they use their emotions to call upon the force and the force magnifies their emotions over time which is what causes relativly good jedi knights to become incredibly evil over time.

That would be the same thing, if they are completely removed from it they would be a hole in the force. thats what i said, they are a something of a hole in the force BECAUSE they have been compleatly removed from it. they are outside it. but that was not always so. there are also creatures who are born without medicloriens. these creatures still have the force flowing through them, they are unable to tap into the power or communicate with the force.

o.o
So your telling me, that the common man on Tattoine, lets say, will not be alive if he didn't have midiclorians?
How is that possible? How does everyone have midiclorians?

Everyone has midichlorians. It's how many they have that determines their ability to tap into the force.
